Traveler of the River of Time and Space-Chapter 483 - 9: Tokyo Blackout 1
"Where are you all going?"
The two had just stood up when the two women beside them couldn’t help but ask.
Su Ziyu frowned and glanced at the two women, a weak glimmer of spiritual light in his eyes, and slowly said, "Sit down. Have a drink."
After speaking, he waved to the manager beside him, saying, "Arrange two headliners for them."
These two women are ordinary people.
He didn’t intend to involve ordinary people in the world of ghosts. The little witch in front could be considered half of the extraordinary world; if Su Ziyu didn’t handle her well today, she’d continue seeking those ghosts in the future.
"Oh." The two women, appearing a bit puzzled, sat back down and began drinking on their own.
The little witch watched in amazement, her expression finally showing a trace of fear as she looked at Su Ziyu and whispered, "What kind of magic is this?"
"Hypnosis." Su Ziyu smiled slightly and casually asked, "What’s your name?"
The little witch’s dull nerves were finally a bit scared, and she cautiously said, "Tsuchimikado Sachiko."
Tsuchimikado?
Su Ziyu glanced at the Yin Yang Jade in her hand and nodded, "Come with me."
"When did you discover you had spiritual power?"
Tsuchimikado Sachiko, both curious and scared, followed Su Ziyu carefully and softly said, "About a year ago."
"I suddenly could control objects."
The Yin Yang Jade floated in Tsuchimikado Sachiko’s palm as she focused her spirit on it, making it spin a few times in her hand.
"Just learned to control objects?"
"And yet you dare to come here to catch ghosts?" Su Ziyu was somewhat amused, tapping the Yin Yang Jade back into her palm.
Tsuchimikado Sachiko involuntarily shrank her head, softly asking, "Are the ghosts here very powerful?"
"I want to catch a shikigami."
"So I came here to try my luck."
Shikigami?
Su Ziyu glanced back at her, opened the elevator with a half-smile, and said, "You want a shikigami?"
"Sure."
"Follow me."
The elevator went straight to the top floor. Right now, Tsuchimikado Sachiko was truly frightened. She looked at Su Ziyu warily and said, "Who are you?"
"Aren’t you here to catch ghosts?"
Ding.
The elevator quickly reached the top floor. Just as Tsuchimikado Sachiko was speaking, she suddenly found the man beside her had vanished, replaced by a dim, deep corridor. The mottled walls were covered with dark red stains; the floor seemed to have a puddle of darkened blood, and a lingering cold wind blew from the deepest part of the corridor, accompanied by a sharp sound like nails scraping the walls.
"Hey?"
"Where did you go?" The little witch shivered all over.
A living human had suddenly disappeared.
She even suspected that the man she had encountered was a ghost, and the Yin Yang Jade had misled her into believing he was a cultivator.
Sob sob sob.
A strange choking sound echoed.
In the little witch’s sight, a female figure wearing a white ghost-face mask appeared. The pale mask bore an eerie smile, and as it glanced up at her, its hair suddenly grew wildly like weeds, surging forth in a black wave.
"A ghost!..."
The little witch couldn’t help but scream, fumbling to pull out her talisman, causing it to transform into a scarlet flame.
Boom.
A fire talisman hit the black hair that surged like seaweed, igniting it and eliciting a scream from the ghost-faced figure.
Swish.
The hair retracted, and sharp black fingernails emerged on the ghost-faced maid’s fingers. The figure climbed vertically along the wall, then shrieked and lunged.
"Protective charm!"
The little witch scrambled to grip the Yin Yang Jade, causing an invisible barrier to appear, only to be sliced open by the ghost-faced maid’s black nails. A thin trail of blood emerged, and the nails brushed past her delicate neck.
"Almost died..."
The little witch lifted her skirt, revealing black safety shorts covered with talismans. In a panic, she threw out a handful, quickly forming the Kikyo Seal, and shouted, "Seal!"
Talismans stamped on the ghostly girl.
The ghost-faced maid instantly stiffened, and the little witch breathed a sigh of relief, then took out a special pardon talisman to stamp it on the ghost girl’s forehead.
Boom.
Talismans shattered into swirling fragments; the rigid ghost girl suddenly lunged forward, her sharp black nails reaching for the little witch’s throat.
"I’m going to die..."
"I shouldn’t have come here!..." The little witch closed her eyes in despair.
The anticipated pain never came. When the little witch, feeling confused, opened her eyes, she found herself in a spacious and distinct hallway. Not far away stood the man who had suddenly disappeared, a beautiful woman wearing a black traditional kimono beside him.
No way.
The little witch soon noticed two maids wearing white ghost-face masks and a floating young girl.
Everything that happened just now wasn’t an illusion!
"Come in." Su Ziyu gently raised his hand, and the pardon talisman floated to his palm.
