Chapter 1159: Chapter 1159: Jocelyn Is Furious

The Maybach wasn’t moving fast, so Trevor got to spend a little more time with her.

Even if they weren’t chatting, listening to a song together, breathing the same air in the car, it was an indescribable happiness.

Trevor dropped Jocelyn Morgan off outside Cecilia Dunn’s small villa, and the car came to a stop.

As the girl unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car, she glanced back at him, saying, "Thank you, Trevor." Her smile was warm and bright.

Meeting her gaze, Trevor felt a warmth and lightly curled his lips into a pleasant arc.

He watched her get out of the car and leave, watched her walk into the yard.

Upstairs, Cecilia Dunn saw Jocelyn getting out of the car and quickly came down to open the door, "Who brought you over? Whose Maybach is that?"

"A friend." Jocelyn looked her over in shock, "You’ve actually lost so much weight?? Who are you tormenting yourself for without eating or drinking?! Are you out of your mind?!"

Cecilia glanced outside, "Did you get a boyfriend?"

"No! Just a regular friend!" Jocelyn pulled her inside and closed the living room door.

Cecilia’s nose tingled, and she suddenly wanted to cry, and she threw herself into her friend’s arms, "Waaah... Jocelyn, I’m so sad, every second is torture."

Jocelyn softened, "There, there." She gently stroked her head to comfort her for a while, "You’ll meet someone better in the future."

After a moment, Jocelyn pulled her to sit on the sofa, "Looks like you haven’t reflected at all these days."

"Waaah..." She was crying.

Jocelyn turned to make tea and brought it over, asking, "Has Howard Sawyer contacted you in the past few days?"

Her hair was messy, her gaze vacant, hugging her knees on the sofa, she shook her head, "I can’t find him anymore, he doesn’t answer my calls."

"What do you want to do?" Jocelyn got angry, "You still want to find him? What for?! He hasn’t even contacted you!"

"Jocelyn." The girl looked up, tears in her eyes, "You’ve never dated, you wouldn’t understand that feeling of wanting to continue liking someone even after seeing them clearly."

Cecilia recalled past moments, and her eyes couldn’t help but well up, tears falling drop by drop.

"That feeling is just being foolish!" Jocelyn scolded her without mercy.

Making her heart a mix of emotions.

Jocelyn, angry, stood up from the sofa, "The person you like reflects your taste nakedly! You really should think carefully about it!"

"Waaah..."

"Howard Sawyer is just a jerk!" Jocelyn was worried, wanting to slap her awake, "If you don’t come to your senses, this mindset is terrifying to bring into marriage!"

Cecilia, unwilling, her voice choked, "I call not to keep him, I just want to know why, I want an answer."

"Things change, the unspoken understanding fades, it’s an old rule of the world, don’t ask!" Jocelyn didn’t want to critique her, "Asking shows you don’t understand the rules!"

"Waaah..." She cried sadly again, "Why? Has all my youth gone to waste?"

"Hmpf!" Jocelyn said confidently, "If Howard Sawyer could compare to a dog, I wouldn’t be so angry to chase him down the street in Aethelburg and beat him up!"

Cecilia paused, looking up, "How is he? Did you hurt him?"

"Hey! Why don’t you ask how I am? There were two of them, you know!" Jocelyn smacked her shoulder, "Heartless creature!"

"..." Cecilia wanted to cry.

"I almost... for beating him and that little vixen," Jocelyn sighed, "If it weren’t for my friend, I’d still be stuck at the police station by now!"

Cecilia looked at her apologetically, "..." Not knowing what to say for the moment.
