Thomas Quincy glared angrily at Clara Thornton and began to berate her unceremoniously.

Thomas looked at her tear-streaked face and said, "Do you still want to go in now?"

Thomas’s face darkened, and he clenched his teeth.
He was just using a self-sacrificing tactic to stop Clara from going further inside; as for the divorce, he had changed his mind.

"Let me help you out, we need to find Eleanor to take care of the wound quickly."
Clara helped Thomas up, and the two of them walked out together.
At the door, Eleanor Sterling was waiting. When she saw the two of them coming out, she immediately approached, "Did you get the Medicine Manual?"
When she saw Thomas was injured, her face sank.
