Ultimate Tycoon: Building the Richest Empire with System and Heroines-Chapter 67: Ethan’s true identity-1
Chapter 67: Ethan’s true identity-1
In a lavish villa hidden deep in the hills, Master Yun sat beside a glittering blue swimming pool. The night was quiet, but his face was filled with irritation.
Around him, several young women lay sprawled out, their bodies limp, breathing heavy. As if their energy had been drained completely. Some were unconscious, others barely conscious, but none dared speak.
Yun rubbed his temples, still grimacing.
"Tch... my balls are still hurting from that kick," he muttered, legs lazily dipped into the pool.
His mood darkened further when the door slid open.
One of his guards walked in, helmet off, face pale. He whispered something into Master Yun’s ear, his voice so low no one else could hear.
Yun’s expression twisted.
"What?!" he barked. "That bastard Gregory escaped?!"
The guard flinched.
He raised his hand and SMACK!, delivered a hard slap across the guard’s face. The man stumbled backward, blood at the corner of his mouth.
"Find him," Yun growled. "I don’t care how. I want his location before dawn."
"Yes, sir!" the guard said quickly, bowing and retreating.
Yun leaned back in his chair, exhaling hard through his nose.
"Why is my luck suddenly so bad..." he muttered. "First Gregory betrays me... now he escapes the hangman’s rope. Damn it."
He closed his eyes for a moment, then opened them again, sharper, colder.
"But who were those people that attacked?" he wondered aloud. "Those masked idiots in the middle of a royal execution? And they actually succeeded...?"
He clenched his jaw. "That wasn’t just chaos... that was planned. Someone helped Gregory."
Yun stood and slowly walked toward the glass table near the pool. He poured himself a drink, hand trembling slightly.
"To attack in front of the princess herself... and that knight, Luke... and still get Gregory out?"
He took a sip. "That’s not normal."
He stared down at the pool’s surface, watching the faint ripple of light.
"If Gregory’s alive... then trouble is definitely coming. He knows too much. He’s seen too much. He’ll go straight for those documents. The blackmail files, the ledger, the trade records... everything."
He tightened his grip around the glass.
"He won’t just run. He’ll come for me. I taught him too well. His pride won’t let him disappear quietly."
He smashed the glass on the floor.
"That damn brat! I should’ve killed him myself years ago!"
He paced for a moment, muttering.
"I know how he thinks. If he’s going to die... he’ll make sure I go down with him. That’s the kind of dog I raised."
He kicked a chair out of frustration. One of the women stirred but said nothing.
"If it weren’t for his skill, I wouldn’t have given him a second look."
Yun sat back down, massaging his temple again.
"That boy Ethan..." he murmured. "He’s different. Sharp. Calm. Dangerous. His plan at the auction was impressive."
He smirked.
"If I can bring him to my side... I could do so much more."
Yun narrowed his eyes.
"With Ethan under me... taking over the Hayes family wouldn’t just be a dream."
He chuckled, the sound bitter and low.
"And Gregory... you useless mutt. You want to bring me down?"
His tone turned colder.
"Come, then. Try. You were never more than a tool."
He took another drink from a fresh glass.
"But now, I’ve got bigger prey in mind."
He looked up at the stars, face lit by moonlight and vengeance.
--------------------------------------------------------
At the grand estate of the Hayes family, something truly unusual unfolded.
Every servant, every guest, every member of the household was in a state of panic and curiosity. Maids rushed to clean the entrance again and again, chefs triple-checked the menu even though no one had ordered anything, and the security staff stood stiff like statues.
The reason?
Princess Seraphina was coming to their house.
The entire front gate was lined with people. Members of the Hayes, Carter, and Marclaire families stood shoulder to shoulder, all unusually formal and nervous.
Then, the sound of engines rumbled in the distance.
Several luxury cars pulled into the estate, black tires rolling smoothly over the stone-paved driveway.
The car doors opened, and out stepped Princess Seraphina, Sir Luke right behind her. Behind them were Ethan’s group,Natalie, Jasmine and Rhea
As soon as they stepped out, the three major families bowed together and said in unison,
"We greet the Princess."
Seraphina raised her brows, a little amused. "What a surprise. I didn’t expect all of you to be here."
Without a word, Mina skipped right past the formality and ran up to Ethan.
"Brother, is she another harem member?" she asked, staring at Seraphina.
The atmosphere froze.
Seraphina blinked, then chuckled. "Harem member?"
Everyone around them felt the air shift.
"This girl..." someone whispered. "She has no fear..."
Ethan rubbed his forehead. "Mina... I told you to stop using that word."
Behind them, Jasmine, Rhea, and Natalie couldn’t stop laughing. Even Seraphina glanced at them and smiled. "Ah, now I see why she said that. You’re really something, Ethan Bond."
She looked at him with a teasing gleam in her eye.
"Tell me... am I your next target, Ethan Bond?"
Everyone choked on air.
Luke’s glare sharpened immediately, his eyes slicing into Ethan like a thousand blades. If looks could kill, Ethan would’ve died ten times already.
Ethan quickly straightened. "Princess, I wouldn’t dare."
The crowd burst into laughter as they all entered the house.
Ethan, along with Natalie, Mina, and Jasmine, went straight to their rooms. The rest gathered in the grand hall.
Inside, the atmosphere was more controlled, but still tense.
Luke sat beside Seraphina. Across from them were the elders and representatives of the Carter, Hayes, and Marclaire families.
Luke turned to Sir Alistair and asked, "May I ask a question?"
Alistair nodded. "Go ahead."
"Is there any particular reason," Luke said carefully, "why families like the Carters, Hayes, and Marclaires gathered here... all at once?"
Seraphina looked up as well, curious. "Hmm... were you all perhaps planning to join forces for the throne?"
Walter Hayes raised his hand slightly. "Princess, you’re thinking too much. We have no interest in the throne. In fact, I already made that clear to your father in the past."
Seraphina smiled. "Ah, I know, Sir Walter. I was only joking."
Carter, ever the calm speaker, added, "The Hayes family will be organizing a banquet in a few days. We simply came early... to reminisce about old times."
Luke narrowed his eyes slightly.
And Seraphina knew they were lying too.
So she smiled sweetly and casually dropped a bomb.
"Is it because of my cousin... Ethan Bond?"
