Unexpected Marriage: She is the Sugar Mommy!-Chapter 333: Bustling
But after knowing Keith Hughes’ feelings for her, she could only keep a respectful distance from this man. Even though she indeed had no such thoughts about him, if this went on, it might lead him to mistakenly think she liked him.
So she thought it was necessary to maintain an appropriate distance between herself and Keith Hughes.
Otherwise, it would cause unnecessary misunderstandings, making explanations even harder later on.
"Let’s go, let’s go, we’ll go too. It’s more lively if everyone goes together." Fiona Dunn rushed over, hugging Seraphina Sinclair’s arm, smiling brightly at everyone.
Even Skylark was right behind her, showing clear intent that wherever Seraphina went, she would follow.
Rosalie Quinn naturally wouldn’t be left behind and immediately started packing: "Since everyone is going on a date, should I invite my husband too?"
"Of course, the more, the merrier." Fiona Dunn chuckled.
So, the original outing of four became a group activity.
Seraphina Sinclair felt overwhelmed. She had originally planned to quietly take the two kids out for a trip, but who knew it would turn out like this.
Having many people was indeed lively, but she didn’t appreciate this kind of bustling excitement.
However, she didn’t blame Fiona Dunn. If Fiona hadn’t shown up in time to help her out, she wouldn’t have known how to face Keith Hughes.
All along the way, Desmond Fairchild and Keith Hughes, whenever their eyes met, sparks flew.
If Seraphina Sinclair hadn’t realized yet that Keith Hughes had feelings for her, she’d be overly oblivious.
Seraphina was utterly speechless, abandoning the two men, she took the two kids to buy tickets.
"Two children’s tickets, and then..." Yasmine Sinclair glanced at the large group behind her, "one adult ticket."
Since everyone wanted to tag along, she decided to let them buy their own tickets; she didn’t bother worrying about it.
Desmond Fairchild closely followed the three of them, fearing any danger, and promptly bought tickets to join in.
To avoid Desmond seizing the initiative, Keith Hughes followed closely after.
Rosalie Quinn and Fiona Dunn walked arm in arm, both shaking their heads with a sigh: "This is a battlefield of love; thankfully, we’re here, or who knows what would have happened."
"Isn’t that the truth? I never thought Professor Hughes genuinely liked Seraphina Sinclair. If I had known it would lead to this situation, I wouldn’t have tried to set them up."
Fiona indeed thought Keith Hughes was great, but she hoped more for Seraphina Sinclair to be with her original partner. After all, with Jude Sinclair, they were truly a family of three.
Rosalie Quinn shook her head, disagreeing with Fiona Dunn: "Actually, I don’t think you did wrong. Think about what Desmond Fairchild did before; he deserves a taste of hardship to understand that our Seraphina is not easily bullied."
"You’re right. Seraphina Sinclair is so beautiful, it’s not like she lacks suitors. There’s no need to cling to Desmond Fairchild, although he is quite handsome." Fiona Dunn giggled, starry-eyed.
In terms of looks, Keith Hughes was slightly less striking than Desmond, but in terms of family standing, the Hughes family was no lesser than the Fairchild family.
No matter who Seraphina Sinclair ended up choosing, Fiona Dunn would support her.
As her best friend, Rosalie Quinn felt the same way; who they thought was better didn’t matter, what mattered was whom Seraphina thought was best.
As long as Seraphina was happy, Rosalie had no objections.
"Let’s catch up quickly, or we’ll lose them," Fiona Dunn noticed the people ahead had disappeared and hurriedly pulled Rosalie Quinn towards the ticket counter.
Skylark said nothing, silently trailing behind them and buying her own adult ticket.
Seraphina Sinclair’s original intention was just to bring two kids to see the scenery, watch some animals, and complete a sketching assignment.
Now with so many people tagging along, she had no mood for recreation.
"Jude, what would you like to draw?" Alice Sinclair touched Sinclair’s head, aware that they were in front of the zoo’s big tiger exhibit, "Pomelo wants to see the tiger, how about you draw the tiger?"
To make the parent-child time more harmonious, Seraphina Sinclair also brought a drawing board, and naturally, so did Pomelo.
"The big tiger looks so fierce." Pomelo hid behind Jude Sinclair, peeping cautiously at the tiger behind the fence.
"Don’t be afraid, they can’t come out." Jude softly reassured Pomelo.
Pomelo blinked, still too scared to approach or look closely. She timidly clutched Jude’s shirt: "Brother, let’s go see something else."
Jude of course listened to her: "Okay, let’s go see the koalas."
"Hmm!" Pomelo nodded eagerly.
Seraphina Sinclair helplessly followed behind the two, realizing that she rarely had time for outings and felt content just watching the children’s laughter.
She couldn’t remember the last time she spent quality time with the kids like this; she truly appreciated Jude Sinclair’s efforts.
Seraphina recognized that she hadn’t spent much time with Jude, and when she realized it, she found he had grown into a little gentleman, even capable of taking care of his younger sister.
Seraphina watched the two kids, while the two men behind continued to focus on her.
She wasn’t unaware of the scorching glances from behind; she just didn’t want to engage.
In this rare leisure time, she wanted no conflict with these two, nor did she want to waste a minute on them.
Being a top student in school, Seraphina had achieved full marks in every subject, with quite a talent for painting.
Bringing the two kids to the koala area, she summoned them to sit on the bench.
This fluffy and cute creature was favored by girls, and after sitting for just a couple of seconds, Pomelo couldn’t help but lean over the fence to admire the adorable koalas.
Meanwhile, Jude sat on the bench and began painting. Despite his young age, his skill was impressive, and his stance while drawing was far from that of a six-year-old, his style leaning toward maturity.
Even though it was just a sketch, it turned out vividly realistic, making Seraphina Sinclair exclaim: "You little rascal, when did you secretly learn to draw?"
"The school taught me," Jude answered honestly.
"Are you kidding? Do you think your kindergarten teachers teach this stuff?" Seraphina eyed him suspiciously, wondering if he thought she was naive about kindergartens.
Given Jude’s level, forget kindergarten, even college students might not reach this proficiency. She was curious about which kindergarten teacher taught this.
Jude then realized his slip and quickly corrected himself: "Dad taught me."
Desmond Fairchild, who had just walked over, immediately responded once he heard this: "Yes, I taught him."
"Really?" Seraphina raised a skeptical eyebrow, "I didn’t realize you had the leisure to teach Jude how to draw."
Desmond calmly replied: "Encouraging all-around development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, and artistic skills is essential."
"Since you’re so leisurely, you might as well teach Pomelo too." Seraphina smiled faintly, though the smile carried a hint of pressure.
