The man known as ’boss’ noticed that the people he sent out hadn’t returned even after a long while and grew suspicious. He stood up, holding his sword, and began to move forward slowly, shouting loudly to the people around him, "Everyone, stay alert."

Feng Xuxu followed at a slower pace. Although the cave was dark, her night vision was quite good, thanks to her years of martial arts training in the space.

Not long after Xiaobai ran ahead, he came running back. "Sister, there’s no one inside, but there is quite a lot of food."

Ecstatic, Feng Xuxu rushed forward. The deeper she went inside, the brighter the light became.

Upon entering, she saw several large grain silos standing before her. Looking around, she noticed several torches on the walls. The layout of the cave was identical to her own family’s food storage. Not having time to think about it, she moved all the silos into her space one by one. Looking at the now-empty cave, Feng Xuxu couldn’t help but smile.

"Let’s go," she said, leading Xiaobai out. Right as they reached the cave entrance, they ran into the people outside.

"There’s another one inside."

With a loud shout, the guards by the cave entrance turned their gaze toward her. Dugu Chen, fighting mid-air, looked down at Feng Xuxu below and then with a forceful action, stopped fighting with the ’boss’, flipped over, and kicked the ’boss’ down from mid-air.

Dugu Chen landed gracefully beside Feng Xuxu. "How’s it going?"

"All taken care of."

"You hide first. I’ll deal with them, and then we can leave." To avoid leaving any loose ends and raising the Duke’s suspicions, he decided to eliminate all threats.

Upon hearing her husband’s words, Feng Xuxu smiled, "After all these years of training in martial arts, today is a good day to see the results of my hard work."

"Heh heh heh, good, just be safe."

"Don’t worry." Winking at her husband, she went out.

The guards defending the cave were divided into two groups to deal with Dugu Chen and Feng Xuxu.

Once inside the space, Dugu Chen saw the many new silos and estimated there were at least a few hundred thousand catties. He gave Feng Xuxu a thumbs-up.

"I wonder if there are any more caves like this in the mountain?"

Dugu Chen wasn’t sure, "Let’s eat something first, then go out and look around."
