Feng Xuxu’s full attention, however, was on the man in black, rendering the man in white insignificant.

"I, too, did not expect that you two would show up in broad daylight, and in such a manner as well. It has put me in quite an unpleasant mood," she said.

Feng Xuxu turned and met those deep eyes with a faint smile, "Why shouldn’t I?"

Lou Qianlan was briefly taken aback, then the corners of his mouth curved into a smile full of intriguing promise: "You may handle it as you wish, but, the condition is, can you win against him?"

Feng Xuxu let out a cold scoff, looking at him with disdain. "I’ve been lazy recently, not sure if my martial arts skills have deteriorated."

"I would still advise the Empress not to take action, so as not to harm the harmony," he said.

"What a joke. Since when do I need your guidance on what to do?" her anger rose, and the lotus on her forehead gradually turned pink, then slowly shifted to bright red, her face cold as frost, she sat up straight, looking at them with hostility.
