Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 365 Practical Training
We should get the SEAL Special Forces out for some drills, especially since they'll be up against Black Scorpion and Poison Spider. Lin Kuang thought to himself.
He mulled it over and decided it was an excellent opportunity for live combat training. With that, he took out his phone and dialed Yang Wucheng's private number.
Once Yang Wucheng answered, Lin Kuang briefly explained the situation.
Hearing this, Yang Wucheng immediately agreed. "Excellent, that's entirely possible! They're soldiers; they exist to fight. If you get opportunities like this in the future, just let me know. Good live combat training doesn't come by easily."
Yang Wucheng said this with a smile. A soldier's purpose, after all, was to defend the nation and fight its wars. Besides, no matter how rigorous the training, only real combat could truly test its effectiveness. Yang Wucheng was more than willing to approve such an operation. He was even more enthusiastic since the opponents were the notorious Black Scorpion and Poison Spider.
"Great. Uncle Yang, please have Zhang Tianyou and the others get ready. They'll depart with me tonight," Lin Kuang said with a smile.
"Alright, I'll make the arrangements right away. I'll wait for your call tonight," Yang Wucheng replied, also smiling.
"By the way, Uncle Yang, how are things in Nanjing? Is there any news on the Biochemical Virus?" Lin Kuang asked after a moment's thought.
"Not yet. The research institute is still working on it, and it will likely take more time," Yang Wucheng replied, his tone growing serious. "Gao Zhanchun, Shi Yushan, and Meng Hao are all under arrest. As for Yamamoto Saku, he's been handed over to the higher-ups. I'm not too clear on the current situation."
Lin Kuang nodded. He had only asked casually. It had only been a little over a day, and a biochemical virus wasn't something that could be resolved so quickly.
"Okay, then. Be sure to let me know if you hear anything. That's all for now, Uncle Yang," Lin Kuang said cheerfully.
"Right, that's all for now. Call me anytime if you need anything," Yang Wucheng said with a smile before they both ended the call.
With Yang Wucheng's approval, a weight lifted from Lin Kuang's shoulders.
Perfect. I'll take Zhang Tianyou and his guys out for some drills tonight. he thought to himself happily.
Just after two in the afternoon, the men from Black Scorpion and Poison Spider arrived in East Sea. Ye Tiannan led the twenty mercenaries to a villa on the city's outskirts, which was Chu Zhongtian's private property.
Chu Zhongtian, Chen Shaowen, Wang Ya Hao, Zhao Shunyang, and Huang Zelun were all inside, waiting. Also present were two masters from the Chen Family, dispatched by Chen Shaowen.
When Ye Tiannan arrived with the men from Black Scorpion and Poison Spider, Chu Zhongtian, Chen Shaowen, and the others went out to greet them.
Black Scorpion had sent one of their generals, a man named Damil. Poison Spider had sent their vice-captain, Kelong, the second-in-command of their organization. Both men were ranked in the top three of their respective Mercenary Corps and possessed considerable strength. To eliminate Lin Kuang, Black Scorpion and Poison Spider had invested heavily; otherwise, they wouldn't have dispatched such prominent figures.
"Damil, Kelong, welcome," Chu Zhongtian said with a smile as he watched the men step out of their vehicles.
"You're too kind, Mr. Chu. We're just here to execute a mission," Damil stated coolly. Since he wasn't directly employed by Chu Zhongtian, he felt no need to be polite.
Kelong, however, was different. As a member of Poison Spider, a group hired by Chu Zhongtian, his tone was much more respectful.
"Mr. Chu, you're far too polite," Kelong said with a broad smile. "Please rest assured. With Poison Spider and Black Scorpion joining forces this time, Lin Kuang is as good as dead!"
"Haha, I have great faith in all of you! Come, let's go inside and talk," Chu Zhongtian said with a booming laugh.
Kelong smiled and nodded. Damil's expression remained somewhat cold, but he said nothing more.
The group walked into the villa and took their seats. Chu Zhongtian began with a smile, "Gentlemen, allow me to introduce you. These two are masters from our side, and they also have a score to settle with Lin Kuang. They will be joining the operation tonight." He gestured toward the two men Chen Shaowen had brought.
"As long as they don't interfere with us, it's not a problem," Damil said coolly. His tone and expression made it clear he didn't hold Chu Zhongtian or his people in high regard.
"Excellent," Kelong chimed in with a smile. "With the help of two masters, I think things will be a little easier for us."
"Good. We have weapons here. Please, take whatever you need. Don't be shy," Chu Zhongtian said, smiling.
He then had someone wheel over two large cabinets. Inside was a full arsenal: pistols, submachine guns, grenades, and even rocket launchers!
Seeing the weapons, both Damil and Kelong broke into smiles, clearly pleased with the selection.
"Haha, very good, Mr. Chu. You've thought of everything," Kelong said with a chuckle, his mood visibly improving.
"Anything to get rid of Lin Kuang!" Chu Zhongtian replied, also smiling.
Kelong nodded in agreement.
"Gentlemen, your men will have to rough it this afternoon, but I promise to treat you all handsomely once the job is done," Chu Zhongtian said, looking at Kelong and Damil.
"Mr. Chu, there's no need for such courtesy," Kelong said with another laugh. "We've endured far tougher conditions than this. It's nothing."
"Alright. I'll have my people keep an eye on Lin Kuang. I'll contact you as soon as we have news," Chu Zhongtian promised.
Kelong and Damil nodded.
With that, Chu Zhongtian chatted with them for a short while longer before leaving. Chen Shaowen also temporarily took his two men away, since the operation was scheduled for the evening. Wang Ya Hao, Zhao Shunyang, and Huang Zelun left as well.
Meanwhile, the entire conversation between Chu Zhongtian, Kelong, Damil, and the others had been secretly recorded. After all, Lin Kuang had tasked them with gathering evidence against Chu Zhongtian.
After the three had left, Wang Ya Hao found a trusted subordinate, handed him a miniature camera, and instructed him to deliver it to Lin Kuang at the Yashi Company.
The subordinate agreed, got in his car, and drove straight to Yashi. Upon arrival, he immediately requested to see Lin Kuang.
The receptionist patched the call through to Liu Shilin's office and relayed the message. Liu Shilin, in turn, informed Lin Kuang.
Lin Kuang was momentarily stunned but went downstairs to meet the man.
After confirming Lin Kuang's identity, the subordinate handed over the miniature camera, explaining that Wang Ya Hao had sent him.
At these words, Lin Kuang's eyes lit up. This has to be the evidence from Wang Ya Hao!
