Who exactly is that bastard that has Yujun freezing up next to me?

I growl lowly as Yujun’s scent starts to sour.

The man’s smile looks innocent and charismatic, but I remember how he had deliberately riled me up when we met at the Choi mansion.

As he opens his mouth to speak, Gawon’s head snaps towards Yujun with her eyes wide open and panic evident on her face.

"Yujun-ssi" she says but the man doesn’t speak, he shuts his mouth and looks at the person behind the camera as his cheeks and the tip of his ears turn red.

Yujun’s body goes slack against mine as he breathes an obvious sigh of relief.

My alpha loses his patience, upset at the way our omega is disturbed about the man on the television.

The new Kang being introduced to the world.

What the fuck is happening? Who exactly is that fucker? Was he the one who bought Yujun from his father? Is he the one I have to kill?

"Young Lord Kang Chan is an introvert and has always been shy, that’s why he stays hidden from the public, but I guarantee you, he is here to stay" a man who is wearing dark shade says.

"This is the news for today, stay tuned" the news anchor says before the television is suddenly put off by the pack member who alerted us.

"Something about that man feels familiar" Yunah says in a small voice and Gawon puts her arms around her.

"Fuck" I curse under my breath as I remember, Yujun had asked him to end Yunah’s pain, the man made Yunah forget her mate, Sehwa’s death with just a simple command.

"Yujun, who is he? What did he do to you?" I ask in a low growl.

The omega is still looking at the blank screen without moving and I shake him slightly.

"I-it’s nothing" Yujun says, but I know he’s lying to me.

"Junnah-" I call his name, and he shakes his head as if to shake it off, he doesn’t want to think about it.

"Tell me and I will kill him, fuck it, I’ll wipe out their entire clan" I hiss and he lifts his eyes to look into mine.

"Don’t do anything stupid" he says.

"I am stupid, I’m stupid when it comes to you and I’m proud of it" I say and cup his cheeks.

"It doesn’t matter, everything is fine now, I promise" he says and I press my lips together to keep myself from arguing.

Yujun is still as stubborn as a mule, and he has no idea how stubborn I can be as well.

I look at Gawon and she’s also frozen, Yunah is next to her thinking, probably trying to check where she knows him from.

Fuck...this one man’s hold on the three omega is unsettling and irritating.

"I don’t have anything" Yujun says absentmindedly and I look back at him.

"What?" I ask in confusion.

"I don’t have anything that’s mine, I don’t have any clothes" he says and I nod, "of course, we’ll get anything you want, want to go now?" I ask him gently.

"No, I’m really tired, I want to take a nap with you" Yujun says and seeks out my hand.

I look over my shoulder one more time before I let myself be pulled by him into my room...our room.

Yujun lays down and turns on his side for me to spoon him, I line my body with his and rest one hand on his chest, feeling his heartbeat and I rest the other hand over our pup.

"Junnah, are you okay" I ask and he doesn’t respond.

"Who is he? Hm?" I ask again and this time he turns to look at me in the eyes, wearing a soft look.

"He’s the heir of the Kangs" he says.

"I know that already" I answer and Yujun sighs.

"The rest doesn’t matter, just let it go, you and this moment are the most important" he says and places his warm hand on my cheek.

I let out a defeated sigh; I will let it be for now.

’No’ my alpha growls.

Yujun leans in closer and kisses my lips, making moves of affection for the first time, but it doesn’t feel real to me.

He’s trying to get me to forget about it.

"You’re okay, right?" I ask and he nods.

"Fine then, get some sleep, we’ll go shopping when you wake up" I say and his eyes slips shut.

"You’ll get anything you want, I’ll give you everything you want" I say and the corner of his lips curves into a small smile.

’That alpha’ my alpha growls, still rejecting to idea of letting it be.

That alpha is beyond normal, when he was with Yujun, I had mistaken him for a guard or just a random member of the Kang clan.

Now I know he’s more than that.

And now that Yujun left him for me and he’s announcing himself as the heir of the Kangs...the same clan that has been trying to take my life for years...

I just know we have unavoidable trouble cooking between us.

I haven’t forgotten the gold of his eyes and his easy ability to use the alpha voice...which means he is more than he appears.

But I don’t fucking care.

If I find out that he has done anything to Yujun, or if he ever tries to cross my path again to try and take Yujun...I will end him.

I look at the omega in my arms, he has fallen asleep, I can see the way his chest moves rhythmically with his changed breathing pattern.

I press a kiss on his forehead and climb out of the bed to leave the room quietly.

On my way out, I bump into Jisung hyung.

"Ah...Hwang Jaehyun, you’re a scarce man these days" he jokes and I give him a small smile but keep my face serious.

"Hyung, I need your help" I say and he fold his arms across his chest.

"What is it?" he asks, knowing that I no longer have a right handman to trust.

"I need information on the new Kang family member, and I need it quick" I say and he hums before lifting his tobacco stick to his lips and taking a long drag.

"Alright, I will deliver soon...oh, introduce your omega to the pack soon, let’s get the rebellion over with, I haven’t shot anyone in a while" he says with a smirk before leaving.

That’s right...I still have some bastards left to deal with.
