Yujun’s POV

"How do I look?" I ask Jaehyun and the alpha dramatically walks backward and sighs.

"Art" he says and I shake my head, "nothing is ever serious with you" I mutter under my breath.

"I’m serious, you look like an artwork wrapped in a hoodie" he says.

"Let’s just go, you goof" I laugh and hold out my hand for him to take and as we walk out, we find Yunah and Gawon also holding hands and walking out of the house.

"Where are you going?" I ask Yunah.

"We are going shopping, where are you going?" my little sister asks, "we are going shopping too" Jaehyun says, answering for us.

"Should we do a double date?" Yunah asks Gawon, and that’s when I notice that she and Jaehyun are glaring at each other intensely.

They look like cat and dog having a stare down.

"Stop it Gawonnie" Yunah says and pulls her hand, I can’t help but laugh at the two of them, they both look so silly.

"No double date" Gawon says and Yunah pouts.

"But you both stay close by, so I can protect you" Jaehyun says folding his arm across his chest and looking like a big brother.

"I can protect my mate by myself" Gawon argues with her chin tilted upwards.

"She’s not your mate yet, you have to court her for three years and then we’ll consider..." Jaehyun counters her argument.

"Oppa!" Yunah calls, covering her face in shyness.

"You’re not her father or brother" Gawon argues, "I’m her-" Jaehyun starts, while I remain standing beside them entertained and laughing, I just know these two will become inseparable best friends very soon.

"Stop it, seriously, I’m getting embarrassed, oppa let’s go" Yunah says and pulls me away from them.

The two keep on arguing and there are two cars already waiting in front of the house.

Jaehyun must have asked for one.

"This one is mine" Yunah says and moves closer to the car.

"Yunah" "Junnah" Jaehyun and Gawon call from behind us and we turn at the same time to look at them.

"You two will take that car and bond, my oppa and I will take this car" Yunah orders and Jaehyun makes a face.

I shake my head at him slowly.

"We already bonded" he says and Yunah also shakes her head in disapproval, "we are not bonding" Gawon says in a flat tone.

"See you later" Yunah says and we both get into the car we chose while Jaehyun and Gawon glare at each other.

Yunah rolls up the glass and starts to giggle at them as they finally, but reluctantly get into the other car.

"Aren’t they just so cute?" she asks with a squeal as she leans into me and gasps.

"Oppa! I can smell you" she says excitedly and I pat her head, chuckling at her reaction, "why does it surprise you so much?" I ask.

"You used to always have to hide, I’m so happy you can be you here" she says and I give her a kiss on her forehead.

"Follow that car please" I say to the driver, and he nods before igniting the engine and following my instruction.

"This place is so good for us, isn’t it?" I ask her softly.

"Yes, I really like it...having Yeon mom, Lord Hwang dad, you, Jaehyun oppa and now...Gawon" she says.

"Baby" I call and she looks up at me.

"Are you sure about Gawon? I know she’s a good kid but...I’m worried for you" I say, airing the thought on my mind.

"I am sure, oppa, she’s my fated mate" she says with her eyes sparkling.

A fated mate? Is that real?

"A fated mate?" I repeat in concern and she nods.

"Yunah...Gawon is also an omega" I say and she smiles, "it doesn’t matter to me, she accepts me even with...my mark" she says and my eyes drop to the mark she doesn’t bother hiding anymore.

I don’t know what to say to her right now, I know she feels so confident...I know she doesn’t remember Sehwa’s death and it’s all my fault.

"If she ever hurts you, tell me immediately...do you understand?" I say and she nods, giving me the sweetest smile.

"Yes, and if Jaehyun oppa hurts you, tell me immediately" she says, making the both of us laugh.

We both know Jaehyun would never hurt me, he would hurt himself a hundred times for me instead.

"The car has stopped" the driver says and we thank him before getting out.

"Never do that again" Gawon says as soon as she gets out of their car and hugs Yunah.

"Does she have a no return policy?" Jaehyun asks as he takes my hand and pulls me to himself, almost making the hood of my hoodie fall off.

"Don’t let my hoodie fall off" I scold him and put it in place while he complains about Gawon, saying things that I don’t pay attention to.

"You aren’t listening" he whines and I sigh.

"What even happened?" I ask.

"Well, when she brought you back home, she refused to give you back to me" he says and I laugh, "she’s just being protective of me" I say.

"Yeah, whatever...oh look at that store" he says and points at a clothing store, "I showed Yunah first, find yours" Gawon says and walks past both of us.

"That little-" Jaehyun says and I laugh before grabbing his arm to change our direction to another store.

"I can’t wait until you two start to get along" I say.

"Never, she’s my mortal enemy" Jaehyun huffs.

As we make our way into the store, I bump into a woman who pauses to hiss at me, "watch it!".

"It was a mistake, fucking get lost" Jaehyun growls at her, his eyes flash as he puts his arms around me and the woman cowers.

I look at her face and immediately turn my head away.

"I-I’m sorry" she says before running away with visibly shaking legs.

Oh no...she’s one of my mom’s personal assistants...I hope she didn’t see my face.
