Vile Rabbit-Chapter 166: Unnamed
"Everything seems to add up with what the Hanging Tree said," thought Apexion as countless thoughts flashed through his mind. He then questioned,
"Do you know a being who goes by the title of the Hanging Tree?"
Gideon's mind flashed as he heard that title, and the memory of one of his generals flickered in his mind.
"Yes, I know the being you speak of. He was the strongest innate general, just under me… I remember fighting side by side with him… Over the course of the war, he had single handedly slain over a hundred unwritten sovereigns of the divine path." He then asked,
"How do you know of him? Have you encountered him within another prison?"
"No, not within another prison, but within the material realm, from my time. He is free and unbound," replied Apexion as the flame cleansing his existence blazed brighter.
"That's odd… Free and unbound!"
thought Gideon. Even though he didn't know why he knew this, but he was certain that his father had sealed all the high-level unwritten sovereigns from all sides even from his divine clan.
So he was truly perplexed at how an entity such as the Hanging Tree managed to escape unsavaged. Many thoughts flashed through his mind as he asked,
"I have no clue how he escaped Father's grasp… But I must ask, what is his current condition? is he still suffering from his injuries from the war?"
Apexion thought about the Hanging Tree's condition, then answered,
"He is in pristine condition. Ruling over my home Arch Realm… You do know what an Arch Realm is, right?" he questioned, remembering that this being had been trapped in an era before Arch Realms were a thing.
"Pristine condition… and ruling over an Arch Realm. That's good to hear, old friend," thought Gideon. Then he answered,
"Yes, I do know a little about the outside world… I've created a few other Forbidden Echoes before, and there have been a few unlucky creatures that ventured inside. Upon their fall, I inadvertently received a few of their memories fragments."
The moment after he finished speaking, something unexpected to Apexion happened.
"Brother!"
The memory from before was acted out once again, overlapping with where they were sitting. Apexion watched it calmly, after which he glanced at Gideon, then vanished. He had gotten all he needed from Gideon for now.
As for Gideon, he remained seated on the throne, gazing calmly at the memory. For that was his punishment for pointing his blade at God. To remain seated on a throne made from his own flesh and blood, whilst forced to relive the moment of his betrayal forever and ever.
Apexion, at the outskirts of the civilization, wandered around and observed the lives of the Innates nearby.
After a while, he vanished and appeared above the forest, right at the spot where the breach was. He frowned as he noticed the breach.
"Just as True Sound said."
He too was now trapped inside this prison, and he would have to wait for the cycle to begin before he could create a Forbidden Echo of his own and hopefully return to his era. His Fate Star pulsed as he made a few deductions. A second later, he concluded,
"I have to wait about two million years before this cycle ends." The canonical source for this content: M|V|L2EMPYR.
His eyes narrowed. That was a long time. But considering the fact that two million years inside here wouldn't even be equivalent to thirty percent of that outside,
He decided to use this opportunity to strengthen himself, which was one of his main goal in coming here.
He turned and gazed at the trillions upon trillions of creatures within the forest, countless fate strings reflected in his starry eyes, he then sat cross-legged.
…
(At the same time, inside the Human Arch Realm)
Inside the False Realm floated a giant, shimmering Zeta Realm that pulsed with ancientness and authority.
Within was a cosmic ocean spanning millions of light-years, with countless islands floating atop, along with countless underwater giants empires.
At its center stood a colossal mountain the size of a realm, radiating majesty and nobility.
Atop this mountain stood an ancient wooden building that pulsed with a terrifying aura.
Inside stood five of the strongest humans in existence, each a mythical figure whose name struck terror into the spirits of those within the universe.
Four of them were clad in armor of various colors, each engraved with a human hand grasping forward.
They were five of the twelve Human Generals, each at least at the middle stage of the Unwritten Sovereign tier.
They stood motionless before a figure who was sitting cross-legged a few meters away.
The figure was akin to a golden deity of strength, with a face that could seduce even the most stoic of goddesses.
With shimmering bronze skin, burning golden and wild hair that reached down his back, and golden eyes that radiated unquestionable majesty and indifference.
He was shirtless, clad only in golden pants crafted from beast hide.
His body forged to withstand the weight of a thousand realm clusters, with muscles carved to perfection.
His golden eyes gazed at the four before him, and he spoke in a deep, indifferent tone,
"Number Six is missing."
As he spoke, countless ethereal strings materialized around him. An instant later, they vanished.
He then gazed at the figure clad in red armor, with a sword clinging to his back, and spoke again,
"Number Two. Number Six is currently battling a Primordial Damned One known as the Silent One at the eastern edge of our Arch Realm."
He paused before commanding,
"Go, and silence it."
Without answering, Number Two vanished
Vash!
A few moments later, he reappeared a few thousand light-years before the two cosmic gods clashing without mercy.
Bang! Pash! Bang!
Sensing his presence, the Silent One pulsed with greater strength and attempted to disengage, but Number Nine kept it pinned in position.
Number Two instantly grabbed the handle of his sword from his back, pulled it out, and slashed toward the Silent One,
Slash!
