Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives-Chapter 823: Extravagant Beach Trip
Villain Ch 823. Extravagant Beach Trip
Emma laughed, clearly enjoying his discomfort. "Come on, Allen. Don’t be so modest. It’s really well-written. I was hooked from the first chapter."
Jordan smiled, his interest piqued. "I’d like to read it too, if you don’t mind sharing."
Allen felt his face heat up. The idea of his father reading his harem fantasy was mortifying. "Maybe another time," he mumbled, trying to deflect.
Emma, sensing she had pushed enough, decided to let it go. For now. "Alright, alright. But seriously, Allen, you have a talent. Don’t hide it."
Azura, still curious, said, "I’d love to see those photos, though. The ones from the beach."
Allen, grateful for the change in topic, nodded. "Sure. I’ve got some good shots. The view there has a different feel. It’s more… raw, I guess."
Emma nodded, understanding what he meant. "Yeah, that’s what caught my eye. The photos have this melancholy vibe, especially the ones from a year and a half ago. It’s like they tell a story."
Emma’s words left Allen speechless. A year and a half ago, he had just started to emerge from a deep depression. That period marked the beginning of his journey into photography, snapping photos of nearby places and putting them on the internet to sell.
The views he captured back then were mostly sunsets or skies with a melancholy vibe—very different from the brighter, more vibrant subjects he favored lately.
Azura, realizing what had happened roughly two years ago and the source of Allen’s depression, decided to divert the conversation to ease the tension. "Ah, I don’t like photos with a melancholy vibe. I’m not interested in checking them out," she said casually.
Then, an idea popped into her head. "Oh, I have an idea! What if we take some photos there today and create some good memories? We could make some nicer, more positive vibe photos," she suggested, her tone enthusiastic.
"Sounds nice," Allen said, appreciating her effort to shift the mood. "Let’s go after breakfast, shall we? Morning shoots are always better. The beach will be emptier since most people have gone to work," Allen added.
The others agreed, and with a renewed sense of purpose, they ate quickly. The dining room buzzed with a new energy as they chatted about more relaxed topics.
Once breakfast was finished, everyone headed back to their rooms to get ready. Since the three of them were going, they decided to use a car. Allen hurried to his room, his mind racing with thoughts of the day ahead. It felt good to have something to look forward to, a way to create new, happier memories.
In his room, Allen pulled out his phone and opened his chat app. He typed a message to his best friend, Geralt.
Allen: Hey, man. I need your help. If you have time, text me back. We need to talk.
He hit send, hoping Geralt would respond soon. This would be related to the conference.
Allen slipped his phone into his pocket, grabbed his wallet, and his camera before he made his way downstairs. He had only needed a couple of minutes to get ready, so he was the first to arrive at the garage. The large space was quiet, the cars lined up in neat rows. He walked over to one of the cars, leaning against it as he waited for Emma and Azura to join him.
While waiting, Allen decided to check in with the girls. He opened the chat app and started a conversation.
Allen: Hey guys, just a heads up, I’ll be late online today. Gotta go accompany Emma and Azura.
Almost immediately, the replies came flooding in.
Vivian: Ooooh, family bonding time? ;)
Shea: We figured as much! Especially since you owe Emma a favor from yesterday.
Bella: Are you going to pay her with your body? *Laughing emoji*
Alice: Are you guys going somewhere fun? Read exclusive content at novelbuddy
Allen chuckled, shaking his head. He could almost hear their teasing voices through the text.
Allen: Yeah, Emma found some photos I took of a local beach and got curious. So we’re heading there now.
Vivian: Ah, that makes sense. Your photos are amazing, though. I’d be curious too!
Alice: True, but you know this means we expect even more amazing pics from today!
Bella: And don’t forget to send us some behind-the-scenes shots. *Smirking emoji*
Shea: Seriously, though, have fun. It’s good to get out and enjoy the day.
Allen: Thanks, guys. I’ll make sure to take lots of pics. And don’t worry, I won’t forget the behind-the-scenes shots.
Vivian: We’ll hold you to that! Have a great time, Allen.
Shea: Enjoy yourself!
Bella: Don’t get into too much "trouble". *Winking emoji*
Alice: Stay safe and have fun!
Allen: Will do. Talk to you all later!
He put his phone back in his pocket, feeling a bit more relaxed. The girls’ teasing had lightened his mood. Just then, he heard footsteps approaching and turned to see Emma and Azura walking towards him.
Emma had a camera slung over her shoulder and wore a bright, summery outfit that was perfect for the beach. Azura, on the other hand, had chosen a more casual look with a wide-brimmed hat to shield her from the sun.

"Ready to go?" Emma asked, her voice filled with excitement.
"Yep, all set," Allen replied, pushing off the car and standing up straight.
Azura smiled, though there was still a hint of the earlier tension in her eyes. "Thanks for waiting, Allen."
"No problem," Allen said, giving her a reassuring smile. "Let’s make some good memories today."
The car smoothly exited the garage. Allen noticed two other cars following closely behind. He froze and turned to Emma, eyebrows raised in confusion.
"How many bodyguards usually follow you?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady.
Emma glanced at him casually, as if it was the most normal thing in the world. "Five," she replied. "But since there’s you, me, and Azura today, I guess Dad doubled it."
Allen held back his shock, his mind racing. "So... ten?" he asked, almost incredulous.
"Yes," Emma confirmed with a nonchalant shrug. "Standard procedure," she added, as if it were no big deal.
Allen took a deep breath, trying to process this new piece of information. His previous life had been worlds apart from this one. The idea of needing ten bodyguards just for a trip to the beach was almost unfathomable. He glanced at Azura, who seemed perfectly at ease, scrolling through her phone.
