Villain of Fate: The Tyrant System-Chapter 21: A Kiss Caught on Camera
A Kiss Caught on Camera
Bianca De Dominicis blinked, her red-rimmed eyes tightening just a fraction. A slow breath escaped, loosening the weight across her back. Okay then, clear enough - she would not push
Up she stood, then her eyes moved forward, a small wrinkle forming between her brows. With calm certainty, her arm lifted. That voice again - soft but sharp - "Evan... whose idea was it for you to return?"
A flicker at the edge of his vision made Julian D’Aurelius twist sharply, breath catching as if pulled by a string. His pupils widened, fixed on something unseen, certain - Evan was back. Not just near, but close enough to ignite sparks again, lurking where shadows thicken. The air tensed before sound arrived.
Still, his eyes moved across the pavement - nothing. Though the stones held a soft glow under dusk, nobody walked there.
Frowning slightly, Julian whispered, "Nobody around." His forehead creased with uncertainty.
Before he could turn back fully, her lips met his lip in a quiet kiss. Shock shot through him like lightning. His golden eyes went wide, his heart thudding violently. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Bianca had deliberately moved her face closer the instant he glanced away. The timing was perfect, intentional—a trap set with precision.
Holding the phone steady, her fingers curled around it like a secret. The screen lit up, snapping moments faster than thought. Julian stood frozen - eyelids fluttering, mouth half open - as if time had tripped. Each flicker caught clean by the lens, unmissed.
Wow... What made you act so bold, Julian? That’s what slipped out of Bianca, half startled, half holding back laughter. A flicker of mischief softened her mouth when she pulled away slowly, already tapping the screen to store the clip.
Well now, she smiled inside, just watch how you wiggle free from this.
Out of nowhere - his words cracked like thunder. Not anger, exactly. More like someone ripped the rug clean off the floor. Eyes locked on her, wide open, unable to blink away what just happened.
[Damn it... are you still the female lead? Is this something a human would do?] he scowled internally.
[Do you think you’re the landlord? I’m not some bucktoothed tenant either.]
[And recording a video? I’m dead. If that idiot Evan sees this, won’t he kill me?]
[We’ve known each other for so long, even without intimacy... how could you betray me like this?]
Bianca’s mischievous smile deepened. "What did I trick you about? Do you really think a girl like me would take advantage of you? Young Master Julian, have some decency," she said, her tone feigning innocence, the corners of her mouth teasing, playful.
Julian’s black hair glinted in the sunlight as he extended his hand, voice low and dark. "Delete the video. Name your price."
Damn it, he thought, good thing I’m a wealthy villain now. At worst, I’ll solve this with money... His inner monologue flickered with a mix of frustration and strategy. This will make her think I’m just a money-obsessed vulgarian.
Bianca shook her head lightly, her red hair catching the light. "Money? My family has plenty. I don’t really need it," she replied with a soft sigh.
Seeing Julian’s frustrated frown made her want to laugh, but the thought of Evan’s name made her glare. His repeated mentions of that man had already begun to irk her deeply.
Her mind raced as she observed him, analyzing his internal thoughts. She was no ordinary girl—her intelligence and insight were sharp. This world is... a novel world, she realized.
According to the original plot, Julian was the villain, and she was supposed to be part of Evan’s harem. Harem? What a laughable joke. She had already started investigating Evan’s background, and once the opportunity arrived, she would make sure that man never left Valemont alive.
Julian’s expression darkened, his voice low and dangerous. "Enough. Stop making a fuss. Delete the video! Or don’t blame me if I turn hostile."
[Girl... what do you want? You don’t want money, do you want my pure body?] he thought bitterly.
[I don’t get it. Besides being rich, handsome, 1.85 meters tall, with an eight-pack and extraordinary charisma... what else could possibly attract you?]
[Be smart. Let me go. The D’Aurelius household is the top in Valemont. Our influence is undeniable. Understand?]
Bianca’s lips quirked into a playful, almost teasing smile. "Then turn hostile. If you do, I’ll post the video on Snapora," she said, holding up her phone.
’Is this fun for you?’ Julian thought, pretending to clench his fist. ’Do you really think I won’t hit a woman?’
[See this? My fist is like a clay pot, but I don’t dare hit you... my heart won’t allow it.]
[Because you’re so cute... but one punch from me and you’d cry for a long time.]
[Delete the video. This isn’t something a female lead should do, understand?]
Bianca rolled her eyes, amusement sparkling in her red irises. Julian D’Aurelius, go ahead and hit me. Let’s see where you aim.
Her teasing tone carried through, playful yet commanding, daring him to act while she maintained her mischievous composure.
