Villain of Fate: The Tyrant System-Chapter 28: The Villain’s Night of Indulgence
The Villain’s Night of Indulgence
Floating through the crowd like smoke, Julian D’Aurelius stayed blind to the past walking toward him. Women clung close, their voices tangled in laughter, while just beyond the door, someone known stepped into view.
"Damn... isn’t that my big brother?"
Right away, people knew who he was. Moving fast, Mike Valquin cut through the group of onlookers - blonde hair bright, blue eyes locked ahead. His steps slipped between others like water finding its path.
Julian stood in the middle, surrounded on all sides by people drawn to him, like sunlight caught in a garden - bright, distant. His eyes moved across faces, sharp and watchful, not warm. Women crowded near, closing space so tight that Mike had to shift sideways just to pass through.
Over there! Got space?" he shouted, volume climbing above the noise.
When he called out, the women stopped, their eyes darting his way. What began as shock softened into joy.
"Oh my, isn’t that Young Master Valquin?"
"Young Master Valquin is here too!"
Warm smiles met his arrival, chatter light like wind chimes, each word a tease - these strangers stood as if on display. A laugh danced between them, eyes bright with quiet amusement, sizing up the scene without speaking it aloud. The air hummed, not loud but full, carrying hints of game already underway.
A wide smile spread across Mike’s face as he lifted his arms, hoping to quiet the room. He stood there, palms out, waiting for silence to settle in around him.
"Alright, ladies, don’t cling to my big brother. It’s his first time here; your enthusiasm might scare him off."
Slowly, the women moved back, opening up space between them.
Fingers closed around Julian’s arm, Mike tugged him free from the crowd mid-laugh.
"Big brother, how’s your first time at a place like this feel?" he asked.
A faint smile tugged at Julian’s mouth. Not one of them had serious plans, especially about settling down - so everything felt just right. Tattoos didn’t change that. Nor did late nights, dim lighting, or drinks swirling in heavy glasses. Restless? Sure. But still playing by his unspoken rules.
"Right, right, all good girls," Mike chuckled heartily. "Shall we find a quieter spot to chat?"
Inside is better," Julian remarked, waving a hand at the shimmering glow within MoonDrift Club.
Enjoyment sits at the heart of existence. From a villain’s seat, prediction fades - tomorrow might deliver the Dragon King, maybe darker shapes. Right now, breath fills their lungs.
Fingers skimming Julian’s brow, Mike froze mid-motion. "You’ve got to be kidding me," he said, eyes narrowing - half worried, half skeptical. Not like him at all." .
Faster now," Julian said, moving into the room without hesitation. This evening promised something real, yet nobody - including luck - would stand in his way. A grin settled on his face before words could catch up.
Footsteps behind her - Mike close, shadows shifting on his skin.
Flickering beams sliced through the smoky air, setting the rhythm. The beat pounded hard, pulling people into its grip. Movement everywhere, shapes shifting without pause. Girls on the platform moved like flames - impossible to ignore, each gesture sharp with intent.
Up top, Mike guided Julian to a spot with the best view, far from the crowd below. Right away, drinks appeared, then one after another, stunning women came close. He brushed them aside gently, smiling, but focused - his real task was watching out for his brother. Not the scene, not the attention, only that.
Filling Julian’s glass, his voice softened. Something about you feels off lately
Strange? he said, tilting his drink toward Mike’s with a light tap.
"You never used to come to places like this."
That was then, he said, pausing to drink deeply. People shift.
Mike’s brow furrowed slightly. "But... big brother, didn’t you just get engaged to Selene Aurevale? If she finds out you came here, wouldn’t three years of effort be wasted?"
Julian’s eyes flickered with amusement. "Right. That’s exactly why I came to talk to you."
Through the screen he pulled up Hello Messenger, flipping through messages for Mike. Words on display made Mike’s thoughts race like traffic at dawn.
"Damn... did my big brother really do this? Dare to speak to Selene like that?"
Relief and delight surged through him. "Finally... you’re not being a simp anymore. Honestly, if we weren’t life-and-death brothers, I would’ve abandoned you long ago."
A shaky grin spread across his face as he reached for the bottle, filling Julian’s glass again. That moment by the river came rushing back - he choking on cold water, Julian diving in without pause. School days tangled with close calls, all leading here, now, laughter louder than before.
Still, Julian kept his eyes on what mattered. Years spent chasing Selene shaped him, yet painted a picture others couldn’t ignore. Simps never get the girl, the world whispered, and he was done playing that role.
"You damn..." Julian slapped Mike on the back, irritation mixed with gratitude. "What do you think her mindset is? After three years of simping, now she acts like this?"
Mike smirked, sharp and amused. "She’s just being cheap. People only cherish what they’ve lost."
Julian frowned slightly. Something didn’t add up. She’s the female lead... she shouldn’t be chasing a villain. There’s a plot at work here.
"So... how do I get her to stop bothering me?" Julian asked sincerely, leaning in.
Mike leaned back, a gleam in his blue eyes. "Simple. Be a scumbag like me."
Once, Mike had cherished the idea of love. Until seventeen, when he overheard his father discussing a family alliance to arrange his marriage with a young lady far beyond his social expectations. Realizing the bride-to-be’s size and family weight, he had matured overnight. To stop the marriage, he became Valemont’s most notorious nightlife prince—and the engagement was canceled.
"Right," Julian murmured, eyes bright with understanding. As long as I’m detestable enough, women will keep their distance.
He glanced at Mike, admiration surfacing. Villainy, subtle and controlled, was the key to survival.
"Come on, good brother, let’s toast. From today, we’ll be the unrivaled duo of MoonDrift Club."
Glasses clinked, the sound sharp and ringing above the club’s pulse.
"Damn, big brother, that’s the spirit! From now on... we live like this!" Mike laughed, already scanning for tonight’s prey. Experience had taught him that most women claiming to "relax" here were deluding themselves.
"Big brother, it’s mostly familiar faces tonight. Shall we make do?" Mike teased, knowing Julian’s first time demanded some spectacle.
"Alright, you handle it," Julian replied.
Mike nodded. Within moments, seven or eight striking women arrived, their appearances and figures around 75 out of 100—perfectly adequate for show.
Mike quickly selected four, sending them to sit around Julian, giggling as they jockeyed for attention.
"Young Master D’Aurelius, shall I feed you a drink?" 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
"Young Master D’Aurelius, your arms are so firm from working out. Want to feel my abs too?"
"Young Master D’Aurelius, what kind of girls do you like?"
The women practically fought to sit on Julian’s lap, their devotion almost comical, yet wholly effective.
Julian leaned back, golden eyes sweeping the room, savoring the thrill. For once, the villain was in full command.
