Villain: The Play of Destiny-Chapter 150
Yes, Keith Argus Demiliore, the Heir of the Demiliore Family of Sameran City was a celebrity that the youngsters of Netheria had been curious and enthusiastic about ever since his video went viral where he was playing the piano with an unknown girl. The girl later became the rising signing sensation, Alana Storm, whose miscellaneous singles were the new tracks of life for the youngsters, and currently topped the Music Charts in the country.
The fame she had earned in just a few months was enviable, but given her immense talent in music, it was not unwarranted.
What shocked everyone was when Alana Storm, whose real name was Alana Parker, revealed in an interview that all the songs she had sung so far had been written by her friend and benefactor, Keith Argus Demiliore, who had personally signed her for his Music Label, Black Jay Records.
Keith was already gaining fame in the country because of his exploits in the business world, but after Alana's interview, his crazy fans turned crazier.
Project Element's opening ceremony started at exactly 5 pm, and all the guests present on the premises were allowed to enjoy all the facilities, except for the Rooftop Restaurant, for free until midnight.
Many people had been sceptical about this Entertainment Plaza, but after seeing how luxurious it was and how the quality had not been compromised, Keith and Alana's crazy fans turned it into a country-wide sensation within a few hours.
By 11 pm, 6 hours after the Opening Ceremony, The Element was trending in the top 10 on Social Media in Netheria, and part of the reason for this was the video of Keith playing a song on the Piano for all his fans. He did it to thank them, and it was a gesture that earned even more fans.
What impressed the people was how he did not look down on anyone and politely greeted everyone who approached him. Of course, not everyone was lucky enough to get a picture with him or an autograph, but they were still content about coming here today to see him. And to be able to enjoy the facilities of The Element for free was more than they could have asked for.
Though there were more than a thousand people present, the management of The Element was just perfect. There were no scuffles, and everyone got a chance to try whatever they wanted to try at the Plaza. And in just one night, the Element had become the favourite time-pass spot for all the youngsters in Sameran, who got the chance to try the facilities on an opening day.
"I loved every moment of this day!" Celine happily hugged Keith when they walked out of the Entertainment Plaza after Midnight.
By now, more than half of the people had already left, and those who remained were just taking one last look around the Plaza as it was going to closed in an hour.
"I am glad you loved it." He smiled at her and comfortingly stroked her back.
She had been putting up a brave front after all that had happened to her family in the last few months. Everyone had tried their best to keep her engaged in things to not let her succumb to depression, but it was only today that she had not even had a chance to think of any hurtful thoughts.
The smile she was wearing on her face was intoxicating, and both Keith and Amelia smiled at seeing her happy.
She had enjoyed her time at the Entertainment Plaza, playing Video Games with him and strangers, winning against him in Snooker and Bowling Matches, though she was sure that he had let her win. And she had also enjoyed her time in the Arcade, playing different games against strangers.
"I am starving now!" She told them, and both Amelia and Keith suppressed the urge to laugh at her words.
She was the one who had refused to eat at the Restaurant, telling them that she wanted to play more games, and now it was closed and she was finally paying attention to her bodily needs.
"I know a nice restaurant nearby. Let's head there..." Keith suggested but suddenly his watch vibrated and he turned his attention to it.
He picked out the phone from his pocket and answered the call.
"Yes, Rebecca?" He smiled and asked.
The Blonde girl was not home when he woke up in the morning, and Venessa had informed him that Rebecca had received a call from her mother and had something important to attend to in the Grayson Family.
"Keith, are you free right now?"
"Depends on what you have in mind." He chuckled but frowned when he sensed that she was a little too quiet today. "Is everything okay?" He seriously asked, and both the ladies by his side were taken aback by his question.
"I am fine.. but Julian.." She stopped and took a deep breath. "He is fine too, but can you come over to the location I am sending you? I really need your help with this."
"Okay." He nodded to her and ended the call.
A few seconds later, he received Rebecca's location, and he frowned when he saw that she was in Seraphim City.
"I am sorry, Aunty, but I have to go see Rebecca and Julian right now." He apologetically looked at Celine.
"I will take Aunt Celine for dinner." Amelia immediately said, and Celine nodded her head before looking at him.
"Is everything okay?" She worriedly asked.
"They are fine. It's just something that they need my help with." He assured her.
"Okay. Be safe!"
"I will." He promised and then sent a signal to Yingying, who soon arrived to pick him up in her car.
He exchanged the driving seat with her and then sped towards Seraphim City which was two hours away from Sameran.
He managed to arrive at the Destination in exactly two hours, and it was a Villa in a posh area of the city.
The guard at the gate seemed to have been expecting him and allowed him to enter without him needing to reveal his identity.
There were guards of the Grayson Family stationed all around the place, but given that both Rebecca and Julian were inside, it was not unusual.
"Keith!"
Rebecca was sitting in the living room all alone, and she immediately stood up when he entered the house.
"Hey!" He smiled at her and hugged her. "Now tell me what happened?" He asked, but then he heard someone descending the stairs. It was Julian.
Keith frowned when he saw the distraught look of the boy who usually wore a sunny smile on his handsome face.
"You look terrible." He smirked and said, and Julian, who seemed surprised to find him there briefly glared at his sister before coming forward to hug Keith.
"It's good to see you too." He said but seemed uncomfortable at his presence in this place.
However, his expression soon changed when he heard Rebecca's words.
"He can help Naomi."
"Your cousin?" Keith frowned and looked at her.
"Yes..." Rebecca nodded to him. "She was Cultivating when an accident happened with her Acupoint in the neck. I have helped relieve the fever, but I was a little late and she's now in a deep sleep."
"Oh..." He understandably nodded his head and then looked at Julian. "It might seem scary, but she would have woken up in a couple of days. Her health should not be in any danger."
"I told him the same thing, but he would not listen to me!" Rebecca scoffed and folded her arms on her chest.
"Yes, and you also told me that she's suffering in the dreams that she's having. That's why she's crying even when she's sleeping!" Julian glared at his sister.
"It's okay." He placed his hand on his friend's shoulder and patted him. "I can help her wake up right away."
"Really?!" The blonde boy looked at him in surprise.
"Yes." He confidently nodded to him. "Lead me to where she's resting."
"Come!" Julian grabbed his arm and then dragged him upstairs.
They entered a room where a beautiful blonde girl was sleeping, and she had obvious tear stains on her face as her body trembled slightly from time to time.
Keith stepped forward and then helped the girl lie on her left side before he crouched down and started tracing the back of her neck in a strange pattern.
Julian curiously looked at the Amythest Aura at the tip of Keith's finger, and his heart skipped a beat when he saw Naomi's body visibly relaxing as a result of whatever Keith was doing.
A minute later, Keith stepped away and then smiled at Julian.
"Now you can wake up with a kiss, oh, our Blonde Prince!" He playfully said, and Rebecca burst out laughing at her words.
She even pushed Julian to do it, but the boy was wearing a frantic expression on his face.
"You love her, don't you?" Keith smiled at him and watched the boy lower his head.
He sighed and then turned to look at his Fiancee.
"You did not just call me here to do this, right?"
Rebecca sighed and nodded her head.
"There something I think I should tell you..."
"Rebecca!" Julian nearly shouted to cut her off.
"He already has guessed it, Julian. With how extensive his Medical Skills are, he can see the truth." She sighed at her brother's behaviour and looked her Keith. "Naomi was adopted by our maternal Aunt when she was a baby. Her mother, who was my Aunt's friend, had passed away when Naomi was only a year old. She's not our Cousin, but she's still related to us."
"She's your half-sister." Keith nodded his head to her, and his words made Julian stare at him in shock. "You have the same father." He said with complete confidence.
"Yes." The blonde girl nodded to him. "My father had an affair with her mother, and she was conceived out of it. And since my Aunt could not have children of her own, she adopted her as her child."
"I see." He nodded and then turned to look at Julian, who lowered his eyes, not willing to look him back in the eyes, fearing that he would judge him. "If you expect me to tell you that your love is wrong, which you have probably heard from your mother, then you can rest assured that I am not going to say any such thing." He chuckled. "And trust me, even if she waasbyiur sister through yiur mother too, I would have still not judged you." He shrugged.
"But..."
"A marriage between siblings is acceptable amongst Aurors." He simply said and looked at Rebecca.
Keith knew that the knowledge she had received after awakening her Powers included these things.
"Trust me. In the future, you will learn that it is pretty much common practice." He did not intend to give him any details.
"We are not an Ancient Family, Keith. Everyone in the family knows that we are siblings. The fact that she's my father's daughter was never a secret in the family. And Mother would never accept it..." Julian did not seem relieved after hearing his words. "She still mad at me that I rushed here to check up on Naomi yesterday..."
Keith sighed when he heard her words.
"She's up." He informed the boy and then walked out of the room, taking Rebecca with him.
"After you two are done greeting each other, come downstairs, and we will have this talk over dinner." He turned around and smiled at Julian and the blonde girl, who was now sitting up on the bed. "I am starving."
