Chapter 36: Chapter 35: It’s Not So Easy to Let Go

Seeing her pale, pitiful face, Sandra Woods sighed helplessly.

She got up, went over to Bella Acker and sat down beside her, pulling her into her arms and said, "You, you’re just a silly girl. I know that truly liking someone isn’t something you can just let go of easily. Take it slow, in a few days you’ll be busy with work in the crew, and won’t think about other things."

"Mm." Bella nodded, "Shannon, thank you."

If Sandra hadn’t been with her, she really didn’t know how she would manage.

For the next two days, Sandra stayed with Bella. On the third day, she drove Bella to the meeting place for the crew.

They arrived quite early; some of the other actors hadn’t gotten there yet, so they had to wait.

Sandra stuffed a bank card into Bella’s hand and said, "This card has two thousand yuan on it, keep it for emergencies."

"Shannon, I can’t take this." Bella had already inconvenienced Sandra so much, how could she accept this bank card? She pushed it away, hurriedly saying, "In the crew, everything is covered, there’s no need to spend money, really."

"Calling you silly, you really are silly." Sandra figured that if Bella went to the crew like this, she’d definitely be bullied, "After filming, if you go out for midnight snacks or something, are you going to let others pay every time? Or refuse to go? Then others will think you’re either stingy or aloof and unapproachable, and you’ll have a hard time. Don’t be polite with me, just take it as a loan. When you get your pay, you can pay me back with interest."

Bella thought about it and realized Sandra’s words made sense. After hesitating a bit, she accepted the bank card, "Okay. I’ll pay you back when I get my pay."

This silly girl really makes one worried sick. Sandra felt she was almost like Bella’s mom, and surprisingly, she wasn’t impatient at all, always worrying she’d be bullied, always wanting to consider more for her.

Maybe she really has a knack for being a mother?

Sandra mocked herself inwardly, and took out the suitcase filled with stuff and two bags of food from the trunk, saying, "When you get there, quickly find a place to buy a phone. Even an old, cheap-granny model for tens of yuan will do, then call me to let me know you’re safe. Got it?"

"Got it." Bella nodded obediently, clung to Sandra’s arm, and snuggled a bit, saying, "Shannon, it’s so nice to have you."

"Shoo, shoo, don’t be so mushy with me." Sandra laughed, "Quickly get on the bus, the other actors have arrived too."

"Mm. I’ll go now, once you’re in the crew, we’ll live together." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

After waving goodbye to Sandra, Bella settled her suitcase and got on the bus.

It was her first time being with so many people, feeling a bit nervous and anxious, so she didn’t dare choose a seat, just went to the middle and sat down.

The bus was filled with all supporting actors. Moreover, none of them were famous, and their roles in the drama were not important supporting roles.

Those with lead roles or significant supporting roles all had their own nanny vans, accompanied by assistants and makeup artists, of course, they wouldn’t squeeze onto the bus.

Thus, Bella Acker, playing the third female supporting role Hera in "Brocade River and Mountain," seemed a bit unexpected sitting on the bus.

However, the bus was mostly filled with newcomers, along with a few old actors with no fame at all, so no one gave her a hard time.

"May I sit here?" A fairly well-maintained female actor stopped by Bella’s seat and asked with a smile.
