Chapter 45: Chapter 44: Won’t Always Be Bullied

Sharon liked Bella Acker from the first meeting because she could tell she was a straightforward girl.

"No need, I just have a small bag. You focus on sorting your own luggage." Sharon smiled and left the room.

Seeing her leave, Bella Acker didn’t insist.

Farah Garner and Rhonda were clearly in cahoots, planning to make things difficult for her together. Even if she wanted to let it go, they’d probably still cause her trouble.

Especially Farah Garner.

She couldn’t always be passive.

Bella Acker packed her luggage while thinking about how to guard against Farah Garner.

Footsteps sounded at the door, and Farah Garner, who just left, returned.

"Bella Acker, don’t get cocky." Farah Garner looked sternly, glaring with a threat, "This time you were lucky, next time you won’t be so fortunate."

"A clear conscience laughs at false accusations." Bella Acker frowned slightly, "I have no grudges against you. If you cause me trouble again, I won’t swallow my pride as I did today." 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

With that, Bella Acker picked up her suitcase and headed out.

Farah Garner shifted her steps, blocking her path.

Bella Acker moved slightly to the side, and she followed, clearly picking a fight on purpose.

Did this woman really think she was a sick cat and easy to bully because she didn’t get angry?

Bella Acker’s temper flared up, and she forcibly bumped into Farah Garner with her suitcase.

Farah Garner didn’t expect her to collide so directly, was caught off guard, stumbled a few steps, and was pushed aside.

"Humph!" Bella Acker snorted coldly at her, lifted her chin, and walked away with her suitcase.

Farah Garner stomped her foot in anger, unable to suppress the fury in her chest, and let out a scream, "Ah!"

Bella Acker heard her frustrated scream, and it improved her mood significantly.

By then, Sharon had already packed up her small bag and was waiting at the door, naturally hearing Farah Garner’s scream, and she knowingly smiled at Bella.

Bella Acker playfully stuck out her tongue, walked up to hold her arm, and whispered, "Don’t worry, Ms. Cheney, I won’t always be bullied."

Just then, Lawson from the crew came up, frowned at Farah Garner’s room, "What’s going on now?"

Sharon gently patted Bella Acker’s hand and smiled, "Young people, full of vitality, it’s inevitable to be energetic."

"Haha, Ms. Cheney is right," Lawson immediately put on a smile, "Ms. Cheney, I’ve got the room ready. You can move in now. The opening ceremony is tomorrow morning, so don’t be late."

"Thanks a lot, Lawson."

Sharon exchanged a few more polite words with Lawson, letting him assist with moving their luggage and escorting them to the room.

Though she wasn’t a veteran superstar, she was quite familiar on-screen. The reason she hadn’t brought an assistant or driven herself was because she advocated for green travel. Her assistant was on a temporary leave due to a family issue, and she didn’t feel comfortable with strangers, plus her part was only for a few days, so she joined the crew alone.

After a day’s rest, they went to the filming location for the opening ceremony the next morning.

Although some big-name actors couldn’t join the crew due to scheduling issues, they would still take time to attend the opening ceremony.

When they arrived at the location of the opening ceremony, Bella Acker realized not all actors could make it. At least, she didn’t see Farah Garner and Rhonda among them.
