Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 69 - 68: Bella in Danger
Damian Sinclair remembered that Sharon Cheney was always with Bella Acker, so he stopped walking and nodded slightly, "Hello."
Remembering Damian Sinclair’s different attitude towards Bella, Sharon Cheney hesitated for a moment but ultimately decided to give it a try. After all, having one more person to help increased the chances of finding Bella quickly.
After greeting, Damian Sinclair didn’t wait for Sharon Cheney’s reaction and continued walking forward.
Sharon Cheney made up her mind and immediately caught up with him, saying, "President Sinclair, please wait a moment!"
Damian Sinclair stopped, a hint of impatience between his brows, "What is it?"
Sharon Cheney organized her words and said rather tactfully, "Bella is missing. Could I trouble you to help me look for her?"
"What?" Damian Sinclair’s eyes narrowed slightly, "When did she go missing?"
"About forty minutes ago." Sharon Cheney checked the watch on her wrist and said, "Bella had a bit too much to drink. I’m worried she was taken away from the restaurant."
"Check the restaurant surveillance." Damian Sinclair instructed his assistant behind him.
At this moment, the waitress standing nearby who had been too afraid to speak up quietly interjected, "Our restaurant’s surveillance only covers the lobby."
Before she finished speaking, the waitress felt a cold, knife-like gaze land on her, scaring her so much she trembled and didn’t dare to make a sound.
Damian Sinclair asked again, "How many floors does your restaurant have?"
"The first and third floors." The waitress dared not be vague and immediately replied, "The first floor is the dining area, the third floor is guest rooms." After speaking, she cautiously lifted her head to glance at Damian Sinclair’s expression, but was immediately frightened by the chilling cold on his face and withdrew her gaze.
"Go check the lobby surveillance and call me if you find anything." Damian Sinclair said, then immediately stepped towards the elevator.
"Yes, Boss!" The assistant also took on a stern expression, "Ms. Cheney, please come with me to check the surveillance."
"O... okay." Sharon Cheney was also quite shaken by Damian Sinclair’s demeanor. She was stunned for a moment before reacting, while also feeling a bit relieved that she had made the right gamble, as Bella was indeed special to Damian Sinclair.
The three of them split up, leaving the waitress standing there, hesitating, unsure whether to follow to the lobby or the elevator.
She hesitated for a moment. Observing Damian Sinclair’s demeanor, she ultimately chose to follow him to the elevator.
If this man acted recklessly, she would still have time to call security.
Damian Sinclair didn’t even look at the waitress who followed him. After reaching the third floor, he directly lifted his leg and kicked the hotel room door!
"Bang!"
A heavy kick landed, and the narrow hallway immediately reverberated with a loud noise. The not-so-sturdy guest room door shook a few times, and it looked like one more kick would completely wreck it.
"Sir, there’s a guest in this room, you can’t force your way in!" The waitress bravely stepped forward to block the doorway, threatening weakly, "If you keep trying to force your way in, I’ll have to call security."
"I don’t hit women, get out of the way!" Damian Sinclair said with a grim face, raising his leg to kick the door once more.
"Bang! Bang!"
The waitress screamed and quickly moved aside, running to the side to call the front desk for security.
Bella Acker lay on the bed, drowsily opening her eyes, looking at the shadowy figure gradually approaching the bedside.
President Lloyd saw Bella Acker open her eyes, smiled, knelt on the bed with one knee, and gently coaxed her while reaching to remove the coat wrapped around her.
"Don’t be afraid, sweetheart. Uncle will take good care of you."
