After getting ready, the two of them went downstairs together, planning to find a Chinese restaurant for a casual meal.
Just as they got off the elevator into the hotel’s lobby, someone quickly approached them.
President Sinclair’s assistant took a few steps forward and nodded politely to both of them before saying, "Ms. Acker, could I have a word with you alone?"
Sharon understood, "Bella, I’ll wait for you over there."
Bella nodded and looked at President Sinclair’s assistant, "What can I do for you?"
She appeared calm on the outside, but inside she was quite anxious.
Could it be that Damian wants to drag her back again? Or is it another one of his pesky tricks to make things difficult for her?
The assistant smiled politely and said, "Here’s the thing, Ms. Acker. The Boss asked me to convey his message. He accepted the three hundred dollars you gave and hopes you’ll continue to support his business." After finishing, the assistant couldn’t help but twitch the corner of his mouth, looking at Bella with admiration.
Bella found the admiration in his eyes puzzling, but at the moment, her mind was entirely focused on what Damian had said, with no time to guess what the assistant was thinking.
Surely Damian was upset when he said that, but she couldn’t be blamed for it.

"Ms. Cheney, let’s go, I’m starving." Bella moved up to take Ms. Cheney’s arm, leaning on her with a smile.
Sharon didn’t ask anything, and the two of them walked towards the hotel exit, coincidentally running into Farah Garner and Rhonda, who were returning from their meal.
Farah and Rhonda walked ahead, followed by some other new actors, clearly showing that the two had become leading figures among these newcomers.
Seeing Farah and Rhonda, the smile on Bella’s face vanished.
As they brushed past each other, Farah glanced coldly at Bella and deliberately raised her voice to mock, "What goes around comes around. Some people shouldn’t get too pleased with themselves. Sooner or later, they’ll face consequences."
