Mayeux heard the name Ota and he was quite surprised that Aeryon would want someone like Burchu to learn from Ota.

"If we have Belarion, then Valgrun have Ota. And the temperament of Ota is not that much different from Belarion"

Aeryon could see that Mayeux is hesitating to say something, Aeryon chuckles and simply ask

"Is there something you want to ask? Don’t hesitate and just spit it out?"

Sending Burchu to train under him...is it really that helpful. From what I see, Burchu methods of fighting is quite different from Ota way of fighting"

Aeryon nodded but there is a smile on his face

"I have read the report on him. Belarion like to take risk. Sometimes, the risk does not always proportionate to the benefit. But Ota is a person who have experience. If Burchu could learn from such a military commander, I believe Burchu could become a great commander of my army"

Mayeux think of this for a moment, he look at Aeryon and then suddenly he seem to understand why Aeryon wanted Burchu to learn under such person

Ota might be reckless and he might have some of the same characteristic like Belarion, but he is more measured

But that is probably not the only reason why Aeryon wanted Burchu to learn under Ota.

It probably has something more to do about the fact that Ota has the same kind of monstrous strength like Belarion.

Right now, in the Southern Great Steppe, the people born of innate strength is far and few.

But if Aeryon truly set his sights on the entire Great Steppe, then meeting such person would be a norm in the future.

Aeryon wanted to raise Burchu so that one day he could compete with this great people. Innate strength people is born with divine strength

There is rarely an opponent. If there is an opponent it is the same type of people. But this did not mean that the normal people could not do something shocking like defeating a person of innate strength.

For example, in Yan, there is also many people with innate strength. But there is also martial artist that practice Qi that was not born with innate strength but cultivate the energy of the world and could fight toe to toe with such person.

he agreed with Aeryon decision to cultivate such talent.

One of the most promising thing about the Brolgadhr tribe is that most of the talent in the tribe is new talents.

And it is because of that Aeryon has been focused on cultivating these talents.

Mayeux look at Aeryon on his throne and he could only sigh.

It might seem that Aeryon have it easy, that his journey has always been smooth but it is clear Aeryon has also been worrying about this problem.

And Mayeux knows how hard it is to keep this tribe together

Mayeux did not ask why Aeryon did not send Belarion to these tribes. He could have send Belarion to Khagai and even sent him to Bolghar.

But instead, Aeryon is keener in sending him near the tribe, clearing out bandits and fighting small tribes on the border of the tribe.

Mayeux could understand why.

Belarion is someone that the Kan depended very much

Not only because of his strength.

But also, because the Kan trust Belarion very much.

Loyalty that cannot be bought.

Belarion himself is the sworn brother of the Kan.

If there is one person that Aeryon would trust with his life, it would be Belarion.

Unless Belarion is near him, the Kan might feel unsure.

Aeryon is smiling. Mayeux could see that his lord is truly happy. And then he is reminded of something and he sighed.

"My lord, I have a talent to recommend"

" A talent to recommend?" There is a hint of curiosity as Aeryon eyebrows raised a bit.

"Hahaha! Someone that could be called a talent by you must have exceptional ability" Mayeux sighed

"There is a young man learning under me. He could be called my disciple"

Mayeux could only sighed bitterly

But Mayeux believe that this is the moment. His disciple is a very dangerous person. And his idea is even more dangerous. But he is truly a talent.
