"LIN HUI ZHEN!!!" I shouted.

"Iyaaaaahhh!!!" My sister screamed, jumping in surprise.

She spun around, dropping the bag of chips on the ground which thankfully didn’t scatter the pieces all over the place as it was already pretty much empty at this point.

If it did scatter all over the floor... I would have strangled her.

I eyed the girl that was wrapped up in my blanket where only her face was visible, her phone forgotten on my pillow.

"G... Gor Gor?!" She cried out, though she still looked tense for some reason. "You come back already?!"

I gestured at myself, "No, no. This is just a holographic projection of myself. Of course I came back! What are you doing on another person’s bed?!"

"E... Ehe... I mean... Your bed so nice... So I like it here..."

I sighed and bent down to pick up the bag of chips to place it on my desk, "I told you to at least stop eating snacks on my bed... Are you going to clean the bed sheets?"

"Yes!!" She affirmed, though a little too quickly to not be suspicious, making me wonder if she had done something else to my bed that she didn’t want me to see.

"Actually... Why you back so early? I thought you say you going to be there for longer?" She asked.

"You said you were bored so I rushed back for you, obviously."

That was obviously a joke and meant as a jab at her so I was expecting her to take a jab at me in retaliation but... No sound came from her.

I turned back to peek at her, wondering what was wrong, only to see her hiding her face in the blanket while muttering something.

"What’s gotten into you?" I asked.

She started giggling creepily, "Ehe... Ehehehe~ Nothing, Gor Gor~ Ehehehe~"

I sighed, "Whatever... Just clean up my room ok? I’m going back to the island again tomorrow so I’m only home for today."

She perked up, "Eh?! Wait... You going back tomorrow?! So fast?!"

"Yeah... We found out that the Rift is dangerously close to a breakout soon so it’s better to start clearing it as soon as possible... Otherwise the island is going to be overrun."

"Oh... Then... You going back tomorrow?"

"That’s what I said, isn’t it?"

"Can you... Just don’t go?"

I sucked in a breath, "I can’t... I’m officially a member of the Mortal God group so I have to work with them from now on."

Technically, I wasn’t lying since I really am part of the group. I’m just not saying whether I’m part of the group as a Guardian or the Mortal God.

I opened my cupboard and dug through the drawers for a clean set of clothes.

"What you doing now, Gor?" My sister asked.

"I just got back so I’m taking a shower, obviously. And also giving you the space you need to help me clean my room. Duh."

I turned to see her still wrapped up in my blanket.

I frowned, "Are you not hot underneath that? Why are you still wrapped up like that?"

"Err... I’ll move once you leave."

"No, get out of there. You’re going to just fall asleep if I leave you like that."

Her eyes shifted a little suspiciously, "Ah... I won’t... Don’t worry Gor~ Just go take your shower ok?"

Her response made it even more suspicious and evident that she was hiding something. Well, whatever... It’s none of my business.

I left the room and went towards the bathroom with my towel and my change of clothes, leaving my bag on the floor for me to unpack later.

I’ll have to pack another set of clothes to bring with me to the island tomorrow...

Hmm? Actually... I could just come back here using teleportation can’t I?

I guess that’s something I can consider.

Trusting my sister to clean up as she had said, I went to take a quick shower to rinse myself off.

When I came out, I found a few clones of my sister inside my room cleaning it up.

Huh... While I wasn’t surprised to see that she used her clones to do the chores, I’m surprised she’s actually that thorough about it...

She even went to sweep and mop the floor as well as clean my desk and... Why the heck is she even cleaning my cupboard?

One of her clones noticed me and she immediately started pushing me out of the room, "Aiyah! I’m not done yet, Gor Gor! Go out first! Go out first!"

Now she’s chasing me out of my room... Tsk...

I grabbed my phone and sat down on the couch in the living room, lifting the device up to check if I received any messages.

Oh? Looks like I’ve got one from Ava and another from Olivia, both of them asking if I had reached home safely.

I gave them a quick reply to let them know I have and told them I would see them tomorrow.

That was when I realised that my sister was leaning against the backrest of the couch to look at my phone’s screen.

"What?" I asked.

She stared at me with a rather unnerving look, "Who’s Olivia? Who’s Avatasia? Since when do you know these people, Gor Gor?"

I frowned, "They’re colleagues that I’ll be participating in the raid of the rift, obviously?"

"Wah... You so close with them ah? They actually ask if you get home liao..."

"I mean... We have been fighting side by side for some time so... I guess we do have some leeway to care about the other person?"

"They’re girls right? Pretty or not?"

"Huh? I guess if I had to choose between yes or no... I would say yes, they are pretty? What’s gotten into you?"

"Nothing... I was just wondering since when my Gor got girls in his phone one."

I raised an eyebrow at her, "I would have thought that you would be asking me if they were my girlfriends by now."

"Oh yeah, so are they your girlfriends?"

"They are female friends, yes. Whether that will change remains to be seen."

"Hmm..." She hummed, right before her face brightened up. "Got picture or not?"

"No? I’m not a creep that takes pictures of other people."

"Aiyah, so boring sia... I still thought you going to get me a sister in law or something liao..."

"Why don’t you worry about yourself first? I don’t see you having someone as well."

"I’m different, hor... I got guys interested in me, I’m just not interested in them."

I narrowed my eyes, "Are you sure about that?"

"Of course lah. Your sister damn hot one, you know?"

"Sure... Whatever you say."

She puffed up her cheeks, "Oi! It’s true hor!! I just have standards!"

"Says the one who was curled up in my bed like some fat caterpillar eating snacks and watching stupid shows."

She pouted at me before she suddenly reached forward and started biting me on the shoulder while making growling sounds.

I looked down at her, "What are you doing?"

"Om nom nom... Biting you, obviously... Stupid Gor Gor... You always bully me!"

I could feel a metaphorical tick forming on my head before I grabbed her and pulled her over the back of the couch so that she was now seated on my lap.

She let out a gasp in surprise before I started tickling her mercilessly.

"I always bull you right? How about this? Huh? Bully enough for you?"

"Ahahahaha!! Wait, wait!! Ahhhh!! Stop, stop! Gor Gor! Ahahahaha!!"

Her clones also started falling onto the floor and laughing as the ticklish sensation was shared between all of them, prompting them all to roll around as I tickled my sister.

"Ahhaannn~ Stop, stop!! I get it! I’m sorry! Ahahaha!!"

I finally stopped after a while, leaving my sister gasping for breath as she collapsed on the sofa while still seated on my lap.

That was also when the sound of the lock being turned could be heard coming from the main door and the both of us looked up to see our mother pushing open the door with bags of groceries hanging on her arm.

Mom immediately saw me and tilted her head at me, "Eh? You come back already ah, Qing? Never tell me?"

"I only just came back just now. I’m only staying for a night though, I’ll be back tomorrow morning."

"Haiyah... Why you never say earlier? If I know earlier I would have bought more food for dinner."

I scowled at my sister, "Why didn’t you follow mom to buy groceries?"

"Oi, I was cleaning the house, ok? Mom was the one who asked me to stay behind."

Mom huffed at her, "Hmph, mow I need to go buy more stuff for dinner. Go and change clothes Ah Hui. We go out and buy more food."

I raised an eyebrow, "I can go."

"No need. You just come home right? Just rest. I just need some extra meat and veggies. You help me put the stuff in the fridge can liao. Go and sleep then come out for dinner later"

My sister hopped off of me and stretched herself before heading back to her room to change, leaving her clones to finish cleaning up my room.

Guess I’ll take up mother’s offer and take a nap... It’s been a while since I last slept in my own bed after all...
