"You look tired…"

I looked up at Valiea, the four armed bartender giving me a concerned look from across her home's bar.

I yawned and stretched my arms overhead before answering her, "Didn't really sleep well last night…"

Yeah… The girls ended up milking me for the entire night so I barely got any sleep.

Don't get me wrong, I would definitely do it again if I had the chance. Absolutely no regrets.

But for now, I gave all of us a day off so I went over to Valiea's place to do some practice with my mixing while the girls did their own things so I was alone with her right now.

I was expecting her to only let me in after her shift but she told me I could go over anytime in the day since her shift doesn't start until evening anyway.

She even told me that I was welcome to stay for as long as I wanted to and she could let me crash on the couch if I end up staying over.

I doubt the crashing part would happen since the girls would definitely insist that I go back to them…

Also, I intend to do a few more jobs tomorrow just to get closer to clearing out that ring. If possible, I would like to finish the match with Valiea and get right to dealing with the pirates before we get out of here.

It would be even better if we can deal with the pirates first before the match but I doubt this could be solved within the week.

Well… I guess we'll just see how things go and then we'll see what we should do.

In the meantime, I should just focus on learning tricks behind the bar here.

Valiea gave me a look of concern, "Hmm… Do you want some coffee then? Or maybe you might want to take a nap first?"

I waved my hand at her, "It's fine. I don't really drink coffee anyway."

I then paused before turning to her, "Wait… There's coffee? What kind of coffee?"

She gave me a chuckle, "It's just synthcoffee I'm afraid. Like my husband said, we're not well off to the point that we could afford to splurge on organic ingredients."

Damn… I thought if she had organic coffee beans or something, maybe Lea could grow them.

I don't think any of us drink coffee but I could still make some stuff with coffee beans if I had some on hand and I'm not one to turn down potential ingredients.

My disappointment must have shown on my face because she came over behind the bar and picked up two bottles, one in each of her left hands.

"Sorry about getting your hopes up. Want me to show you some tricks instead? I may not be as good as my husband but I still can give him a run for his money."

I shrugged, "Sure, let's see what I can use to beat you with during our challenge next week."

"Har, har," She laughed sarcastically. "Fine then. Let's see if you can do this."

She picked up another two bottles with her right hands so that she was now holding a bottle in each hand.

Great… Go ahead and use your physical advantage then. Let's see what you have.

I went over to the other side of the bar so that I could watch her perform from the patron's point of view.

Once I settled into my seat, she first did a spin with all four bottles in her hands before thrusting her arms out to the sides, her two upper arms angled above her lower arms.

I realised that pose was similar to those poses where you had one person standing behind you to act like you had four arms, except in this case, she really had fours arms.

She started spinning the two bottles in her two upper arms while her two lower arms went ahead to start pouring into the cocktail mixer on the bar counter.

She then placed the two bottles back on the rack, not even bothering to flair before she picked up a scoop of ice to dump it into the mixer.

Still spinning the two bottles above, she reached over to pick up the jigger and another bottle to measure out two pours to dump into the cocktail mixer.

Satisfied with it, she snatched it off the counter and tossed it into the air before catching it to give it a good shake.

Once that was done, she stopped spinning the two bottles to place them back in her speedrail to pour out the resulting mix into a cocktail glass through a strainer.

"There you go. Let's see if you can do it."

Right… This is so unfair.

Just to be clear, she was constantly spinning the two bottles in the air the entire time while doing the mixing with her two lower hands.

She wants me to do the mixing while making two bottles spin in the air the entire time… How the fuck was I supposed to do that?

Heck, even if you were to give me four arms, I might even be able to have the mental capacity to focus on keeping two bottles spinning in the air while I mixed those drinks…

But you know what? Fuck it, let's just try it!

I stood up and she seemed to be surprised that I was actually moving around the bar to take my space behind it.

"Eh? Wait… Miss Tera? I was just kidding, you know?"

I huffed, "Well, I'm still going to try it anyway. Let me use those unbreakable bottles to do it."

She stared at me for a good long moment before shrugging, probably figuring that I was just trying to do it as a joke as well and stepped out from the bar to give me space.

Ok… Even though I said that… I had no idea how I was even supposed to start what I said I would do…

How do I keep two bottles spinning in the air thile still mixing two bottles of alcohol, adding ice to the mix, measuring two jiggers out of another bottle, then shaking that mixer before pouring it out?

Hmm… Hmm…

The only thing I can think of is… Well fuck it, since the bottles are unbreakable anyway, I might as well just try and do the most ridiculous tricks to see if they work.

I first placed two bottles on the counter beside the mixer before picking another two bottles up.

Ok, this is going to look really ridiculous but it's the only thing I could think of at this point.

I lifted up my arms until my elbows were parallel to the ground before balancing the two bottles on the crook of each elbow.

"You're not serious…" Valiea muttered, looking at me in disbelief.

I didn't respond to her and focused on balancing the bottles to make sure they stayed there before I slowly inched forward to pick up the other two bottles on the counter.

With all four bottles now ready, I sucked in a breath before I started bouncing the bottles on my elbow, causing them to bounce up into the air while spinning.

Slowly… As I gained more confidence, I increased the strength of the bounce to make the bottles fly up even higher, alternating sending them spinning up into the air.

I started timing their air time and just as I bounced the bottle on my right elbow upwards, I quickly poured a little of the water in the bottle of my right hand into the mixer.

I didn't have time to do a full pour so I quickly pulled back right as the leftmost bottle came down so that I could bounce it up again while moving to pour the water out from my left hand.

I had to keep alternating this until I got the required amount of liquid poured into the mixer, taking the chance while the two bottles were still in the air to drop the ones in my hand back to their original positions in time to bounce the two bottles up into the air again.

I quickly swiped the ice scoop to toss in several ice cubes into the mixer before going back to bouncing the bottles into the air once more.

Ok… Now I need the jigger… So I'm going to just slowly pick that up… Then this other bottle over here… Then take advantage of the short period of time when the bottles are in the air to measure them twice to pour inside the mixer.

Now it's the shaking part…

Surprisingly, this one's the easy part because all I needed to do was to time my shaking with the falling of the bottles so I managed to do this without any issues.

Once the shaking was done, I first placed the mixer on the counter before catching the spinning bottles out of the air and returning back to the mixer to pour the mix out into a cocktail glass.

Alright. I actually managed to do it. That was honestly easier than I thought.

I turned back to Valiea to see the woman gaping at me.

Err… Hello? Are you ok?
