WHAT! I Have To Kill Heaven's Son To Live!-Chapter 141: Nine Continents!
Chapter 141 - 141: Nine Continents!
[Ding!]
A crisp chime echoed in Reon's mind.
[Yi Ran's Favorability toward Host has increased by 10.]
Reon's eyes fluttered open. A dull ache pulsed through his body as he slowly sat up, reminding him of everything that had happened.
"So... she's finally gone?" he murmured, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "I must say... I put on quite the performance."
With a quiet grunt, he swung his legs over the side of the bed and rose to his feet.
A faint grimace tugged at his lips as he stretched out his hand, cracking his knuckles with a soft pop.
"Tch. The pain from absorbing Mana in a cultivator's body... still nothing compared to when my Constitution awakened."
He rolled his shoulders, letting the stiffness fade, then turned his gaze toward the pillow—where a glimmer of blue caught his eye.
"She even feed me a High Grade Healing Potion after treating me," he murmured, lips quirking with faint amusement. "For someone so powerful, she's unexpectedly... kind."
But his gaze drifted upward as the translucent system panel floated before him again.
His brow furrowed slightly. "Yi Ran's Favorability... why is it climbing so fast? I haven't even done anything."
A pause.
"...Well. Whatever."
Shaking off the thought and system panel, Reon turned his attention to the Spirit Stones resting on the bed.
Their soft glow pulsed in rhythm with the surrounding Qi, calling to him. He picked one up, its surface cool and almost soothing in his hand.
"She kept her word," he said, inspecting the stone. "With these, breaking through to Foundation Establishment should be within reach."
His eyes drifted toward the card placed beside the stones. He picked it up next, a grin forming as he turned it over in his palm.
"A Favor Card... This will be useful—especially once I step foot on the Mage Continent to hone my magic. Taking that risk... was worth it."
But then, a unsettling thought surfaced.
"What was a mage doing here? And a powerful one, no less...?" His eyes narrowed. "That never happened in the original novel."
The thought lingered like a shadow at the back of his mind.
"The storyline is completely falling apart... because of me."
He fell silent, the weight of that truth pressing on his chest. But after a moment, he exhaled slowly, shaking his head.
"No point dwelling on it. Everything changed the day I decided I wouldn't die the way the book fixed I would."
With a flick of his fingers, Spiritual Qi rippled through the air as he stored the Spirit Stones and the Favor Card in his Spatial Ring.
His gaze drifted toward the window to his right, a thought crossed his mind.
"It's time I set off for the Mortal World. I'm really curious to see what the world outside the sect is like with my own eyes."
After tidying up his room, Reon stepped outside and locked the door behind him with a soft click.
"Open map," he said calmly.
At his command, a large, translucent blue panel shimmered into existence, glowing with a soft light.
It hovered midair, displaying an intricate layout of the entire Outer Sect.
Every disciple's abode, halls, pavilions, training ground, dueling arena and forest trail was marked in stunning clarity.
Names of each location floated above them like labels, and narrow paths connecting them glowed faintly—just like a fantasy version of Google Maps.
At the center pulsed a small, dense blue disk—marking his current location.
Reon's brows lifted slightly. "It really is like Google Maps... but without satellites. How is this even working?"
He studied the display a moment longer, then chuckled softly to himself. "I guess anything really is possible in this world."
He tapped a marker. "My Disciple Duty is in the Great Zhenou Kingdom. I need to reach the nearest Teleportation Counter in the Outer Sect."
Once he confirmed the location, a thick blue line extended from his position to the destination—nearly a hundred kilometers away.
"Damn! A hundred kilometers?" He sighed. "When will I finally learn sword flight?"
Stretching his legs, he muttered, "Guess I'm running."
He began running toward his destination, recalling the geography of this world in his mind.
The mortal world of Thalara is vast—so vast that it puts Earth to shame. It holds Nine Continents, each one a world of its own, thousands of times larger than Earth.
—
To the South lies the Spirit Rain Continent, also called the Land of Awakeners. Here, people awaken special talents when they turn eighteen.
This continent is filled with Dungeons and Gates to other worlds, where people venture to battle monsters and grow stronger. frёewebηovel.cѳm
The air is rich with Awakened Energy, often called the Power, which governs all things.
—
To the West is the Rainbow Cloud Continent, known as the Land of Light.
The people here are deeply devoted to gods and goddesses, seeking divine blessings through faith.
They practice Holy Magic, and their power—Divine Energy—grows stronger with their belief.
There's also a rare energy called Holy Mana, but only a few can absorb it.
—
To the North stands the Black Mist Continent, the Land of Darkness.
Dark Mana and Death Energy saturate the land, making it home to Dark Mages, Necromancers, Shadowmancers, Curse Users, and Soul Mages.
These people revere Demon Gods, though they differ from Demonic Cultivators, who follow the Dark Dao, and Demon Worshippers, who trade Blood Contracts with Evil Demons for power.
—
To the South-East lies the Crimson Leaf Continent, called the Land of Murim. Here, everything revolves around Inner Energy, or Ki, used to master Martial Arts.
Strength comes from discipline, tradition, and combat.
—
To the North-East is the Howling Wilds Continent, the Land of Beasts.
As the name suggests, it's the home of all kinds of magical beasts.
This is where Cloudia and the Little Tiger come from.
Beasts here absorb Elemental Energy—like wind, fire, water, earth, ice and thunder—to grow stronger.
Some legendary beasts harness unique powers: Eastern Dragons wield Draconic Energy, Nine-Tailed Foxes channel Illusion Energy.
—
To the South-West is the Enigma Veil Continent, also known as the Land of Mysteries.
This enchanted realm is home to Western Dragons, Elves, Dark Elves, Vampires, Dwarves, Fairies, Barbarians, Oni, and more.
The land itself radiates beauty and secrets, filled with a rare essence known as Mystic Energy.
—
To the North-West, you'll find the Rising Flame Continent, the Land of Mages.Mana flows through everything here—it is life itself.
This is the birthplace of Elemental Mages and all practitioners of White Magic.
—
And at the very center, surrounded by the Five Great Oceans, stands the Serene Harmony Continent—the Central Continent, also called the Land of Peace.
It is where people from all continents gather.
At its heart lies the world's most strongest academy: the Transcendent Academy, where once every century, the brightest and most gifted young talents from across Thalara gather to study.
—
And finally, to the East lies the Sleeping Dragon Continent, known as the Land of Cultivators—where Spiritual Qi flows through nature itself, forming the foundation of all cultivation.
This continent is divided into Five Great Provinces, each holding its own secrets, powers, and ancient legacies.
