When 'God' Decides To Start Over-Chapter 898 - 350: Aging (Part 3)
After Old Jia went out, Li Xiu finished washing up, fed Xiaoshuang some gemstones, and then gave Zizi half a bottle of milk before carrying Zizi to the living room.
"Vice President Han is truly a rare guest." Li Xiu said as he entered the living room and saw Han Minghui.
Han Minghui was drinking tea, and when she saw Li Xiu coming in, she immediately stood up. She was frank and smiled, saying, "However rare I may be, I’m not as rare as Commander Li’s Divine Position Gemstone."
"Since Vice President Han is also here for the Divine Position Gemstone, I won’t waste my breath. What do you intend to trade for the Divine Position Gemstone?" Li Xiu sized up Han Minghui, noticing she didn’t have an assortment of boxes with her, as if she hadn’t brought anything.
"The Divine Position Gemstone is priceless, naturally, only something equally priceless can compare to it." Han Minghui smiled.
"Oh, a priceless treasure that can compare to the Divine Position Gemstone—I really want to know what that might be." Li Xiu said casually, but anyone could see he wasn’t speaking sincerely.
Han Minghui didn’t mind, instead she said, "I heard that Commander Li has a sword contract with a fire attribute that has reached the Spirit Forging level?"
"Indeed, there is such a sword. What does Vice President Han mean?" Li Xiu knew Han Minghui was referring to the Fire Lotus Sword.
But the Fire Lotus Sword was only at the Light Base level, not Spirit Forging. Its ability to unleash Spirit Forging level power relied entirely on the Evil Spirit Token’s spirit casting.
However, these details weren’t important; Han Minghui suddenly bringing up the Fire Lotus Sword must have had her purpose.
"Could you lend me your sword contract?" Han Minghui asked, smiling warmly at Li Xiu.
"You’re joking, Vice President Han. With the number of contracts you have, why would you need my little broken sword?" Li Xiu replied.
"Since Commander Li isn’t willing to lend it, could you use that sword to help me?" Han Minghui continued to smile.
"Help with what?" Li Xiu asked, furrowing his brow.
Han Minghui suddenly walked over to the tall table, leaned over it, resting her head on the other side, and her long, black waterfall-like hair draped down.
"Please use your Fire Lotus Sword to cut off my head." Han Minghui lay there, looking sideways at Li Xiu, smiling, yet her words were astonishing to him.
"Vice President Han... Are you unwell?" Li Xiu asked with a furrowed brow.
"Didn’t you want to see the priceless treasure? Cut off my head, and you can naturally see that priceless treasure." Han Minghui said.
"I’ve never heard of such a thing; you want to see a treasure, so I have to cut off your head. Is the priceless treasure inside your skull?" Li Xiu had no intention of doing it and shook his head. "If that’s the case, then forget it."
Upon hearing this, Han Minghui stood up and smiled. "Hasn’t Commander Li long found me unpleasant? If I die, wouldn’t that fulfill your wish? Why not do it?"
Li Xiu said nothing, only coldly staring at Han Minghui.
"Since Commander Li won’t do it, then I’ll do it myself." As Han Minghui spoke, she suddenly summoned her jade fan and wielded it. The jade fan opened and slashed toward her snowy white neck with sharp jade light.
Clang!
The jade light brushed against her neck, creating a bizarre scene—tiny snake-like patterns emerged on Han Minghui’s white neck.
The patterns spread across her skin, and the jade light clashed on it, emitting a ringing sound of gold and jade, yet it couldn’t harm her in the slightest.
Han Minghui continuously slashed her neck with the fan, the sound of clanging was incessant; the Spirit Forging level jade fan couldn’t scratch her skin at all.
"What is that?" Li Xiu asked, surprised at the strange patterns on Han Minghui’s body, resembling jade patterns yet also like scales.
It was clearly not a contract, but also not a skill, leaving him puzzled as to how it could easily withstand attacks at the Spirit Forging level.
"This object is called Dragon Scale Armor." Han Minghui said, slowly unbuttoning her coat, revealing underneath no clothes but instead a body covered entirely by those scales.
The scales were like jade, tightly clinging to the body, resembling snake skin or jade-textured tight clothing.
"This Dragon Scale Armor is crafted from the scales of a Divine Position level creature, the Golden Scale. It’s light and barely noticeable when worn, but when attacked, it can easily withstand Spirit Forging level attacks without a scratch. Even facing Divine Position level attacks, it provides some degree of defense, due to its material being Divine Position Demon Spirit."
Han Minghui looked at Li Xiu and said, "Exchanging a Divine Position item for another, and I’ll add one more promise."
"What promise?" Li Xiu asked.
"If you trade the Divine Position Gemstone to me, when I ascend to the Divine Position and you need to slay Divine Position Demon Spirits, I will definitely assist you, as many times as necessary, until you obtain a Divine Position Gemstone from the slain Divine Position Demon Spirit." Han Minghui said earnestly.
"It does sound like a good deal." Li Xiu replied lightly, "But I don’t need your help in killing Divine Position Demon Spirits, so let’s see something practical. Do you have anything else besides the Dragon Scale Armor? If not, I can only say I’m sorry."
Han Minghui sighed lightly, zipped up her coat, and then took a piece of paper out of her pocket and handed it to Li Xiu. "The Han Family’s entire accumulation over the years is here. If you want, Commander Li, they and the Dragon Scale Armor I’m wearing are all yours."
Han Minghui truly spared no expense; as long as she could ascend to the Divine Position, those external possessions would soon return.
Li Xiu took the paper and opened it, indeed finding various treasures listed, all of immense value, including Spirit Forging level skill rings, talent gemstones, and Demon Spirit rings, as well as contracts at the Spirit Forging level.
Other premium gemstones and Demon Cores were listed by weight here. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
As Li Xiu looked at the list, he noticed a name that moved him.
"Samurai Star?" Li Xiu read out the name in the gemstone section of the paper, thinking to himself, "I just heard about Samurai Star last night, and today I’m seeing it. So Samurai Star is in Han Minghui’s hands; could the Mist Man trading with Jiuxiao Yun be Han Minghui?"
