"In that case, I have a method that might clarify your origins. Will you try it?" Li Xiu asked, staring at the Godslayer Shrine.
"What method?" Four words immediately appeared on the Godslayer Shrine.
"Do you know a magical spirit called Unparalleled King?" Li Xiu asked.
"I don't know." The Godslayer Shrine answered decisively.
"You don't know it, but it knows of your existence and knows you were in the Stone Coffin in Black Death City's little shack. It even asked me to bring you to it," Li Xiu said slowly, "Since it knows so much, it should know your origins, right? Do you dare to go meet it with me?"
"There's such a magical spirit, why didn't you mention it earlier? Take me to meet it immediately." The Godslayer Shrine's reaction surprised Li Xiu.
"Alright, then I'll take you to meet the Unparalleled King." After pondering for a moment, Li Xiu reached for the shrine and headed outside.
The entrance to the Underworld where the Unparalleled King was imprisoned had been turned into a gigantic warehouse by Li Xiu.
Upon entering the warehouse, Li Xiu opened a specially crafted metal gate, revealing the tunnel leading underground.
Li Xiu stepped onto the Fire Lotus Sword and flew into the tunnel. Soon, he arrived in the underground space and saw the Unparalleled King, resembling a Qilin beast.
"Kid, why have you not come to see this king for so long? Do you want to die?" the Unparalleled King roared angrily upon seeing Li Xiu descend.
"Your majesty, don't be hasty. Look what I've brought you." Li Xiu raised the Godslayer Shrine in his hand.
The previously furious Unparalleled King leaped for joy at the sight of the Godslayer Shrine.
Unfortunately, its body was restrained, making it unable to leap up. Otherwise, it would've pounced and snatched the Godslayer Shrine.
"Very good, well done, quickly give me the Godslayer Shrine." The Unparalleled King called out impatiently.
"Don't rush, your majesty. I've brought the item, but I still don't know its origin or what use it is to you." Li Xiu didn't hand the Godslayer Shrine directly to the Unparalleled King.
"You don't need to know so much. Just give me the item," the Unparalleled King bellowed.
"Your majesty, I've done so much for you, shouldn't I have some right to know? If you refuse to tell me anything, then you're not considering me as one of yours. In that case, why should I help you? Isn't that correct?" Li Xiu said, squinting.
"Since when did it become your turn to lecture this king? Are you seeking death?" The Unparalleled King's body emitted a light like countless diamond facets reflecting, enveloping the entire underground space.
Li Xiu focused his thoughts, and the Forbidden Spear transformed into a Forbidden Cannon, while the flower-like armor covered his whole body.
The Forbidden Light at Divine Position Level blossomed on the Blood Armor, forcibly blocking the eerie light from the Unparalleled King's body.
"Hmm! Your Life Contract has actually risen to Divine Position... How long has it been..." The Unparalleled King gazed slightly surprised at Li Xiu wielding the Forbidden Cannon in the air.
