Chapter 1010: Chapter 1010: I Really Regret Not Killing You Back Then

"Let’s go! Come with me to see Mr. Xavier!" The old man was truly angry, like a messenger of justice, grabbing her to leave.

"Are you crazy? Let go!" Rhiannon Xavier resisted, "This has nothing to do with you! Shane Xavier’s injury is healed, you can leave!"

The old man became increasingly angry, "Faye Turner’s life was snatched back from the King of Hell with tremendous effort! It can’t be trampled on by you! Come! Let’s go see Mr. Xavier!"

How could Rhiannon possibly comply? She threw her bag to the ground and forcefully pulled at the old man’s hand, anxiously trying to break free, "Let go of me, you old man! Meddlesome people don’t live long! Let go!"

The old man was aged, and Rhiannon, when she went mad, wasn’t weak; unable to break free, she resorted to biting!

"Ah—" The old man, in pain, instinctively let go, but still reached out fiercely to block the doorway, "You can’t leave! After doing something so shameful, you must come with me to see Mr. Xavier!"

"Hmph! Of course, I won’t leave!" Rhiannon stepped back two paces, a ferocious glint flashing in her eyes!

Then she frowned and looked around, her gaze falling on a wooden stick leaning against the wall not far away!

She looked back, glaring at the old man with hatred, "You’re the one seeking trouble with me!" She began to back away, retreating step by step toward the wooden stick.

Following her gaze, the old man glanced at the wooden stick and shook his head reluctantly, "Miss Xavier, don’t make mistake after mistake; with every step wrong, you’ll ruin your own future."

"I’ll ruin your life first!" As soon as she said it, she grabbed the wooden stick and stepped forward, also worried the old man would turn and leave, exposing everything.

When she was three meters away, she raised it high, "As long as you keep quiet about today forever, no one will know!"

The old man felt immense sorrow, shaking his head regretfully, bleeding from the bitten hand, but it didn’t compare to the pain in his heart, "Truly, you know a person’s face but not their heart."

"Stop lamenting about me!" Rhiannon’s eyes were filled with only hatred, intent on killing him, raising the wooden stick and stepping toward him.

The old man, however, just furrowed his brow tightly, not thinking of retreating, let alone running away.

In his heart, there was only one thought—

"One thought makes a Buddha, another makes a demon, ah, it’s all self-inflicted."

Rhiannon didn’t even consider why the old man wasn’t escaping!

She stopped one meter away from him, closed her eyes, gritted her teeth, "Don’t blame me! Blame yourself for coming at the wrong time!" She swung the raised stick down with force! It would not miss!

Yet it landed in Faye Turner’s palm, who had just rushed in!

She fought against Rhiannon with all her might, "You lunatic! Are you even human?!" she yelled while trying to snatch the wooden stick out of Rhiannon’s hands.

"Just in time! I’ll take care of both of you now!" Rhiannon, nearly insane, clung to the stick without letting go.

The old man didn’t come over to help, merely watched from the sidelines, but he surely wouldn’t let his beloved apprentice get hurt.

"Mabel Walsh! When I was four, you plotted to lure me out of the mansion! Purposely making me lost, wasn’t it?!"

Faye, fighting for the stick, grappled with her while angrily questioning!

"You just figured it out?!" Rhiannon gritted her teeth, glaring at her with hatred, "So why did you come back?! Wasn’t the status of Mrs. Lancaster enough for you?! Why couldn’t you just let me have the position of the eldest daughter of the Xavier Family?!"

"You are truly despicable!" Faye pulled hard, even getting kicked by Rhiannon, yet endured the pain to continue provoking her—

"You’re only three years older than me, yet such a schemer at seven?! Aren’t you afraid of divine retribution?"

"Why should I fear? I’ve been living in luxury for twenty years!" she said harshly, "If you hadn’t shown up! I might have had it for a lifetime! You jinx! I really regret not getting rid of you back then!"
