The Undead Demon was still entangled with the group, but the knight dashed out of the side gate and hurled a Flame Pot at the opponent, causing the Undead Demon to howl in pain from the scorching heat.
"Good, very effective!" Hevi couldn't help but praise.
The unnamed Upper Knight from Astara nodded at them and turned to run into the side gate.
The people seized the opportunity when the Undead Demon was scorched and made a dash for the side gate, all rushing through without incident.
The Undead Demon smashed its massive club against the side gate with all its might, but the architecture here seemed extremely sturdy, not even it could break the walls.
Running a bit further through the side gate, Hevi saw something he had long missed.
It was the long-lost bonfire!

"The one who opened the gate for us earlier, was that the same person who threw you the key?" Hevi looked at Todd.
"Yes, I didn't expect that even this time we couldn't catch up to him." Todd said regretfully.
"I have a hunch he'll become a helpful ally in our adventure here, at least we'll get some good stuff." Said the Starfire Knight to Hevi's left, with an 'I understand' expression.
"You understand? Who was it that mentioned the ground might cave in, maybe lift your head and look at the sky?" Someone on Hevi's right said.
"Did you look? Yet you're calling me out? If it wasn't for you almost flinging that solid chunk at my face, I would have hit the monster on the head with a brick."
"Heh, I missed because you didn't follow orders?"
The two leaned back awkwardly, shoving shoulder against shoulder like bickering children.
"Can we stop arguing? After all, we're adults who've been through the fires of war." Hevi served as the mediator, visibly exasperated.
Then, those two turned their united front to teasingly press against his shoulders.
In the end, all the Starfire Knights crowded together in a circle, joking around like it was some kind of mysterious ritual.
"I don't understand how you can still laugh...at a time like this..." The frail Magician Todd was forcibly squeezed in the middle, left only to make sarcastic comments.
