At the moment they turned the mechanism, the water level of the Little Londo Ruins unexpectedly started to recede!

The enormous ruins, previously submerged in water, began to tremble, about to reveal their true form.

Tusi, who accidentally triggered the drainage mechanism, snapped out of his initial shock and confusion right away.

"Hahahaha!"

With his hands on his hips, he let out a long, hearty laugh towards the sky:

"I truly am a man blessed by luck!"

The adventurers looked at him with puzzled expressions, while his companions covered their foreheads, unable to help but say, "It's been an hour since we last heard one of your lucky stories; we've had enough appreciation."

"I've always been luckier than the average person, you know. Back then, a Divination Master from the Yanor Kingdom even said that I would be surrounded by luck all my life."

Tusi grinned happily.

"I've encountered so many terrifying things yet always managed to survive, found the crucial mechanism in Sain Dungeon by sheer luck, and on top of that," he said, patting the burly adventurer next to him, "I've now met such a robust helper, surely my luck is at play."

Every time he mentioned "luck," his eyes would light up. He might not notice it himself, but the Dark Moon Sword members were already too uninterested to comment.

It seemed that after the end of Black Hawk's Chaos, Tusi felt surviving such a catastrophe must have been due to the Goddess of Luck's blessing. Hence, he began to believe in some mystical stuff, even going so far as spending big money on a supposedly effective Divination Master, who, as expected, told him he'd be "surrounded by luck" all his life.

Since then, Tusi had become increasingly confident.

One might say that confident people tend to encounter good things. Once his mental state improved, everything seemed to go smoothly for him, making him even more confident, leading to even smoother circumstances, creating a virtuous cycle.

However, his teammates suffered because Tusi often bragged about his luck, to the point their ears were almost forming calluses.

And now, he started recounting his various past lucky experiences, like surviving after being covered by the Abyss in Fran Fort, almost falling into the Abyss next to Overlord Vonier yet coming back alive, or fiercely fighting the Maggot Men in Deep Church alone.

The Dark Moon Sword members selectively ignored Tusi's speech, but those adventurers genuinely listened, gathered around Tusi with wide eyes, looking at him like some sort of idol.

"More innocent kids are going to be misled by him..."

The Dark Moon Sword members quipped, glancing at the "receding tide" of the Little Londo Ruins.

Little Londo Ruins seemed to be split into two areas by a solid wall. Since this wall was previously submerged, it was like a water walkway to them and was not given much attention. Now, they realized that after the mechanism was activated, only one area's water was receding, while the other side remained filled with icy stagnant water.

The highest structure of the Little Londo Ruins was about forty to fifty meters above the waterbed. Adventurers willing to take the risk could probably hold their breath and swim down, but those who tried before ended up inexplicably dead at the bonfire, never knowing how they died.

Now that the tide had receded, they finally saw what was beneath the water.

Half of Little Londo Ruins was unveiled, resembling an ancient city. The parts submerged for years were marked with seemingly perpetually damp water stains, and the ground was covered in silt, allowing people to imagine the sensation of stepping on it. But what caught their attention was not these, but some white, glimmering objects.

Did it look like piles of white rice scattered on the muddy ground?

"No, rice can't possibly be that big. Those things are...."

The Dark Moon Sword member pulled out a telescope and peered through it. After one glance, his body stiffened in shock.

"What did you see?"

Until someone patted his shoulder, this Dark Moon Sword member snapped back to reality, handed the telescope to his comrade, and said, "Good stuff."

Without suspicion, his comrade took the telescope and looked through it, then also stiffened, until another comrade called him back to attention.

"What did you see?" Upon being asked, he paused briefly, then handed over the telescope, saying:

"Good stuff."

Each person fell into silence after looking through it, yet without expressing any oddity, handed it to the next, repeating the cycle several times until everyone had seen it.

"You're all doing this to mess with me, aren't you!"

The last person, Tusi, after looking through the telescope, retched a few times and then burst into a furious rage.

Only then did the Dark Moon Sword members collectively erupt in a laughter they had held back for so long. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

This was their revenge for Tusi constantly annoying them with his luck stories!

"Bunch of bastards."

Tusi cursed crudely, suppressing his laughter and scanning the group, puzzled as he glanced at the adventurers.

Why didn't they react after seeing those things?

He didn't linger on it, instead focusing seriously on examining the scene below.
