Within My Sect, All Realms Unite-Chapter 57: Demonic Puppet
As the massive hand fully formed, it surged upward once again and struck the ship with even greater force than before, shaking the entire vessel violently. This time, the ship’s energy shield trembled intensely, its light flickering as visible cracks of strain spread across its surface.
Han Leu’s expression turned serious as he immediately understood that relying on the ship’s formation any longer would be dangerous. "We have to fight head-on, Sect Master, we cannot keep defending like this," he said firmly, his tone leaving no room for doubt.
"Let’s descend immediately before the formation collapses completely."
As he spoke, he rapidly adjusted the control runes, guiding the ship downward with precision despite the instability caused by damaged circuits. The vessel began descending toward the corrupted ground, its movement slightly uneven as the formation struggled to maintain balance.
At the same time, the boy below slowly raised his hands again, beginning to form the same seals with eerie calmness as demonic qi gathered once more. The surrounding air twisted faintly as another attack began taking shape, darker and heavier than before.
But just then, a streak of cold light cut through the air with incredible speed, interrupting the forming attack instantly. An ice arrow pierced directly through the boy’s hands, freezing the motion of his seals mid-action.
Everyone’s gaze shifted immediately toward the source of the attack without hesitation.
Chu Yue stood there calmly, holding a beautifully crafted bow that shimmered faintly with a cold, ethereal glow under the dim light. Her expression remained composed as another arrow had already formed between her fingers.
Without pause, she released it again.
Another arrow shot forward like a streak of frost, followed by several more in rapid succession, each carrying intense chilling power that spread instantly upon impact. The temperature around them dropped noticeably with every shot.
The arrows struck the boy directly, piercing through his body without resistance, layering frost over frost as ice spread rapidly across his form. Within moments, his entire body was encased in thick ice, completely immobilized.
Strangely, he did not dodge or resist even once.
For a brief moment, everything became still as the frozen figure stood motionless within the corrupted land, giving the illusion that the attack had succeeded completely. Even the oppressive aura seemed to pause slightly.
But then the ice shattered violently, fragments breaking apart as the boy stepped out from within without the slightest injury, his body completely unharmed. His expression remained unchanged, as if the entire attack had been meaningless.
Seeing this, Lin Xiaotian’s gaze sharpened immediately as he understood that this opponent was far more troublesome than anticipated.
"Everyone stays on the ship and maintain the formation while dealing with the minor beasts attacking it," he ordered decisively, his voice firm and clear.
Without waiting any further, he stepped forward, his figure already moving toward the ground below with determination.
Han Leu followed without hesitation, his expression serious as he prepared for direct combat against an unknown threat of this level.
Chu Yue moved alongside them as well, her bow still in hand, her calm demeanor unchanged despite the growing danger ahead.
The three descended together, their focus locking onto the unmoving figure below as the real battle was about to begin.
The moment their feet touched the corrupted ground, a suffocating pressure wrapped around them, as if the land itself rejected every trace of life that entered it. The demonic qi in the surroundings stirred violently, yet the figure ahead remained completely still.
The boy did not move from his position even slightly; his pale eyes locked onto them with that same eerie calmness that felt deeply unnatural. His lips curved into a faint smile as his fingers began forming seals slowly.
Without any movement of his body, the ground beneath them suddenly trembled as massive demonic hands erupted upward, formed entirely from condensed corrupted energy. The attacks came from all directions, aiming to crush and restrain them simultaneously.
Han Leu reacted instantly, his sword flashing outward as sharp arcs of qi cut through the incoming hands, severing them before they could fully form. Even so, his expression darkened as the severed energy did not dissipate.
The broken hands reformed again.
Lin Xiaotian stepped back lightly, avoiding a grasping hand by a narrow margin as his eyes sharpened while observing the puppet carefully. He hasn’t moved at all... yet everything is controlled from there.
Chu Yue did not retreat as her bow shimmered with arrows forming one after another, each shot carrying intense cold energy as they pierced toward the puppet’s body and forming seals. Frost spread rapidly upon impact.
The arrows struck cleanly, yet the puppet did not react.
The ice spread across its arms and torso, encasing parts of its body completely, but within moments, cracks spread through the frost as demonic qi surged outward. The ice shattered effortlessly.
Han Leu’s expression suddenly changed as realization struck him clearly, his gaze sharpening as he carefully observed the puppet’s continuous and unnatural recovery. Without wasting even a moment longer, he immediately signaled both Lin Xiaotian and Chu Yue to fall back.
"There is no point fighting it like this," he said firmly, his tone carrying certainty as he stepped slightly away from the front line. "This is not a true body, it is a demonic seed puppet being sustained continuously."
Lin Xiaotian’s eyes narrowed slightly as he understood the implication behind those words, his thoughts aligning almost instantly with Han Leu’s conclusion. The puppet’s lack of movement and endless attacks finally made sense.
"It is being supplied from the main source," Han Leu continued, his gaze locking onto the ground beneath the puppet. "As long as that connection remains, it will not fall no matter how many times we destroy it."
Chu Yue frowned slightly as she released another arrow, her movements remaining calm as she maintained pressure against the puppet’s attacks. The battlefield remained chaotic, with demonic hands continuing to erupt from the ground.
Han Leu stepped back further, his expression turning completely serious as he began circulating his spiritual energy in a more focused and controlled manner. "You two distract it for five minutes," he said without hesitation.
"I will locate its energy vein and sever its connection to the source."
Lin Xiaotian gave a faint nod, his expression calm despite the situation growing more dangerous with every passing second. "Five minutes," he said lightly, as if confirming the time rather than questioning the risk.
Chu Yue did not speak.
She simply adjusted her stance slightly, her bow already raised as another arrow formed between her fingers, her focus entirely locked onto the unmoving puppet ahead. Her intent was clear without words.
The moment Han Leu sat down and closed his eyes, his divine sense began spreading outward rapidly, diving into the corrupted ground beneath them as he searched for the hidden energy flow. His presence withdrew from the battlefield.
The pressure increased immediately.
Without Han Leu at the front, the puppet’s attacks grew more aggressive as multiple massive hands formed simultaneously, slamming down toward Lin Xiaotian and Chu Yue with overwhelming force. The ground trembled violently.
Lin Xiaotian stepped forward instead of retreating, his expression sharpening as he drew the puppet’s focus toward himself deliberately. "Looks like it’s just the two of us now," he said calmly.
Chu Yue released another arrow without responding, the cold energy spreading outward as it struck the puppet once again, slowing its seal formation slightly. The frost shimmered briefly before cracking under pressure.
The fight resumed immediately but this time to buy time instead of destroying it.
