Wizard: Starting from the Skill Tree-Chapter 534: Madness
These heads relentlessly twist and howl, spraying out dark purple pus filled with intense Spirit pollution. Any Slave Creature touched by the pus instantly falls into madness, beginning to indiscriminately attack everything around.
The second Level 3 Insect Race resembles a moving, perforated mountain of flesh.
It doesn’t have defined limbs but moves using countless writhing pseudopods at the base of the flesh mountain.
Its huge body is covered in various sized holes, from which tentacles with suction cups shoot out like Lightning, capturing Slave Creatures from afar, dragging them back into the holes to crush and digest.
More frighteningly, some of the holes continually hatch explosive corruptive flying wasps, which crash into the Slave Creature Legion like swarms.
The third form is the most bizarre; it resembles a large mass of continuously flowing, transforming translucent protoplasm, enveloping countless ghastly white bones and flickering Insect Race cores within.
It can casually alter its shape, transforming sometimes into a devouring net that covers a large area, engulfing and dissolving many Slave Creatures into its body, and sometimes condensing into a giant rotating bony drill that pierces the sturdiest defensive lines at terrifying speeds.
The energy absorption field radiating from its core can also weaken the Magic effects cast by nearby Wizards and Slave Creatures.
These three twisted monsters, completely beyond ordinary imagination and emitting terrifying waves of Level 3 Life, joined the battle, bringing instant catastrophic destruction.
Besides these three Level 3 Life forms, three other Level 3 Insect Races appeared elsewhere, scattered around different locations.
Evidently, even a Level 3 Nest isn’t easy to hatch Level 3 Life from; it requires a vast amount of resources to hatch a single Level 3 Insect Race.
However, this is merely because the Level 3 Nest hasn’t had enough time to hatch; given more time, it could produce more Level 3 Insect Races, even forming a Level 3 Insect Race army.
Compared to other races, the Void Insect Race’s hatching method is extremely abnormal.
For other races, achieving a Level 3 Life Level requires immense effort, sufficient resources, and good fortune to reach this level.
No matter the Plane, Level 3 Life form is an extremely precious resource and vital for the entire Plane’s existence.
But the Void Insect Race is entirely different; as long as the Nest’s level reaches Level 3 and resources are sufficient, it can hatch Level 3 Insect Race units.
Even though this Level 3 Nest has only been developing for a few months, it has already hatched six Level 3 Life forms.
Such speed is highly formidable anywhere in the Endless Plane.
After the appearance of the three Level 3 Insect Races, the battlefield at Bone Spike Strait saw the Slave Creatures immediately suffer massive casualties.
Faced with this sudden lethal threat, Lauren, the Level 3 Mage sitting at the rear, showed no emotion, merely passed down an order.
Instantly, eight terrifying airs, like the awakening of the abyss itself, erupted from the dark waters behind Lauren.
The combined pressure even caused the surging insect tide at the front to halt.
Eight massive figures, all emitting destructive waves, emerged as if gods of ancient myth, tearing through the seawater.
Leading the charge was a giant abyssal blight moray with a huge spiral mouthpart, rushing towards the rotten multi-headed sea snake with a boundless hunger to devour. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Following closely were another seven Level 3 Slave Creatures, all exuding extremely formidable airs.
They did not emit meaningless roars but moved with cold efficiency and absolute obedience.
The eight Level 3 Slave Creatures, akin to a perfectly coordinated killing ensemble, locked onto their targets and attack zones the moment they appeared.
All eight Slave Creatures are but the forces on the east side of the battlefield.
Mage homeland warfare naturally holds an absolute force advantage.
This force advantage refers not to quantity but to strength.
Black Sail itself did not deploy many Slave Creatures; they were directly allocated by the Wizard Council, responsible merely for acting on their behalf.
Under this absolute high-end force pressure, the battle situation instantly reversed.
The eight Level 3 Slave Creatures, like eight efficient killing machines, under Lauren’s coordination and assistance, crushed the three Level 3 twisted monsters that the Insect Race placed high hope upon, and their surrounding defensive systems, with overwhelming force.
The turbulent flow stirred by their massive bodies made the entire Bone Spike Strait seem to tremble violently.
Several of them directly confronted those three twisted Level 3 Insect Races, while the rest, like searing blades, sliced into the depths of the Insect Race’s densely packed defensive lines.
The terrifying aura emitted by those three twisted monsters quickly fell into a passive predicament.
Their defeat wasn’t a lengthy battle of attrition but a swift, efficient, and nearly ruthlessly overwhelming crush.
Meanwhile, the other Level 3 Slave Creatures incited genuine devastation within the Insect Race’s defensive line.
Wherever they passed, groups of Spore Cannon Towers fell silent and collapsed, dense Insect Race formations were plowed into streaks of bloodied vacuums, and the meticulously constructed defense systems crumbled like paper under these eight absolute forces.
Propelled by this destructive torrent, the eastern Slave Creature Legion roared thunderously like a broken dam, launching an overwhelming charge at the originally impregnable Insect Race defense line.
The eight Level 3 Slave Creatures, like an unstoppable destructive flood, rampaged through the eastern battlefield, causing the Insect Race’s finely crafted defense to crumble visibly.
However, just as the outcome seemed decided, an even deeper and crazier transformation was happening across the entire Nest community.
The icy will from the depths of the Level 3 Nest, after bearing tremendous losses and pressure, did not collapse or retreat but instead emitted a hysterical resolve.
It no longer tried to maintain the integrity of the lines nor worried about individual survival, but rather, in a near self-destructive manner, recklessly mobilized the remaining power of the entire community.
The hatch chambers scattered around, even those attacked by Slave Creatures from other directions, spasmed with frenzied movements.
The hatching speed escalated far beyond limits, hastily maturing countless Insect Race units, even with incomplete shells and uncoagulated acid, they burst out howling from the chambers.
These units no longer formed formations nor emphasized tactical coordination but transformed into a pure wave of destruction composed of countless crazed individuals, assaulting the eight Level 3 Slave Creatures and their supporting Slave Creature Legion from all directions.
