A Catkin around four to five years old lay on top of a table, napping in a curled position. His tail moved occasionally as if he was having a very good dream.

Sleeping beside him was a two-year-old girl with short blue hair and chubby cheeks.

"The two of them really get along well," Lilith said as she looked at her son, who was sleeping beside Emma's daughter.

"I hope they continue to get along as they grow older," Emma commented. "Tyrion is a very caring older brother. I'm sure he'll protect his siblings when they are older."

"And Nia is also very cute." Lilith smiled. "I'm very tempted to pinch her cheeks sometimes."

The two young mothers were both members of the Protector Clans that looked after the Valentin Family.

Although the two other Protector Clan Families, namely the Oddfrid Clan (Dwarves) and the Argus Clan (Elves) never said it out loud, they also wished to have one of their young ladies become Ethan's consorts as well.

Since Emma, a member of the Meredith Clan, and Lilith, a member of the Orpheus Clan, managed to become their Young Master's wives, they felt that it was only right for them to also become part of the Valentin Family through their children.

It had grown into a political issue.

As much as Ethan's Grandfather knew how loyal the Protector Clans were to his family, he knew that if this issue wasn't handled properly, there was a possibility that their ancient bond would form some cracks.

Ethan might not want to marry any of the young ladies from the Oddfrid and Argus Clans, but as an alternative, their young men could aim to be Joanne's husbands.

Of course, it wasn't just the descendants of Protective Clans eyeing the Princess of the Valentin Family.

The members of the Ocean Races, as well as the Nobles of the Lands of Alastor and Midgard, also wished to marry into the Valentin Family.

Even though it was now widespread that Ethan's grandfather was the former Demon Lord who terrorized the world, no one cared about matters that happened hundreds of years ago.

They only cared about potentially forming a connection with the Prince of Atlantis, whose fame had spread across the lands.

Emma and Lilith knew that the members of the Valentin Family were overly protective of Joanne. Even more so that she was now of marrying age.

There was an even greater problem. Ethan had set the bar so high for Joanne that other men no longer caught her attention.

They would have to be exceptional in many ways to even catch her fancy.

This would mean that her future partner would be scrutinized from head to toe, and their backgrounds would be triple-checked to ensure they were clean.

"So, did Ethan tell you if he plans to pacify the two other families?" Lilith inquired. "Or will they let Lady Joanne handle it?"

"Ethan doesn't want Joanne to shoulder this responsibility, so he's currently negotiating with the two families. It's not yet confirmed, but he might take a lady from each family to be his consort in the future."

Lilith nodded. "I also don't want the relationship between the Protector Clans to break down. If only you, as his Promised One, became his wife, no one would bat an eye. But since I came into the picture, things got complicated."

Emma smiled faintly after hearing Lilith's comment.

She was indeed Ethan's Promised One, and back then, she thought of it as the greatest honor.

Even now, she was very happy to have found him first and protected him from the shadows.

Watching him grow up from a naive country boy to his current state was a very rewarding experience for her.

Suddenly, Emma noticed Illumina taking a stroll in the garden. The Mermaid Princess was carrying her two-year-old son.

If one looked closely, one would notice he didn't have legs. Instead, a merman's tail peeked out from the cloth that covered his body.

All of Ethan's lovers had given birth to his children and were living their days in Atlantis in peace.

The ancient city was currently traveling around the world, allowing everyone to see places they had never seen before.

"I almost forgot. Did you know that Nicole is pregnant with another child?" Lilith inquired.

"That fast?" Emma arched an eyebrow. "I guess Noelle is going to have a younger sibling before our kids."

Ethan was now a Progenitor, so it was hard for him to make his lovers conceive.

They even relented and decided to ask the Progenitor of Magic, Hecate, for help a few years ago.

For some reason, the Progenitor was very happy to help in exchange for favors from Ethan. Left with no choice, the young man decided to agree and had taken part in some of Hecate's experiments.

Only Nicole didn't ask for Hecate's help because Ethan had succeeded in making her conceive before he even became a true Progenitor.

Aside from Lily, who gave birth to twins, everyone else only had one child from him.

Nicole seemed to be an exception to this rule, as she was now Pregnant with her second child.

"So, this is where the two of you are," Ethan said as soon as he entered the balcony.

He then looked at his kids, who were sleeping peacefully on top of the table while sunbathing in the early morning light.

"Have you managed to get Noelle to call you Daddy?" Emma asked in a teasing tone.

"Don't remind me," Ethan replied before kissing Emma's and Lilith's cheek. "She's being stubborn."

Ethan and Nicole had promised each other that they wouldn't divulge that Baradiel had become their daughter. Baradiel had also personally requested this from them.

The young man's other wives were also curious about why Noelle never called Ethan Daddy, directly referring to him as Ethan.

Noelle also never called Nicole her Mom or Mommy.

But honorifics aside, the mother and daughter pair were very close to each other. Noelle often took strolls around the city with Nicole.

The little girl also didn't shy away from taking care of her other siblings.

When their parents were busy, Noelle would watch over her little siblings as they played, feed them milk bottles when they were hungry, and even sing them a lullaby so they could sleep. frёeωebɳovel.com

Even Zach and Zayne, the oldest among Ethan's kids, treated Noelle like their big sister for some reason.

Whenever Ethan's wives talked to Noelle, she would only answer with a word or two, avoiding exceeding three words unless absolutely necessary.

Lilith smiled faintly, reflecting on how much had changed in their lives. Unlike in the past, when she followed Ethan within his shadow wherever he went, she now spent most of her time raising her son.

Of course, she didn't regret giving birth to his child and was quite happy being part of a big family.

Suddenly, the cry of a little girl brought everyone's attention to the table.

Nia was crying, and it woke up her brother, Tyrion, who immediately tried to figure out what was happening.

"Mama Emma, Nia is hungry," Tyrion, who had the uncanny ability to understand his younger siblings' cries, said anxiously.

"Thank you, Tyr," Emma replied before picking up her crying daughter so that she could breastfeed her.

Ethan then lightly patted his son's head before carrying him, so they could look over the garden where Illumina and her son were currently strolling.

Sensing their gaze, the mermaid princess waved in their direction, prompting Ethan and Tyrion to wave back at them.

"Papa, when I grow up, can I have many wives as well?" Tyrion asked. "I want my kids to have many brothers and sisters."

"No," Ethan replied. "Your Papa is a bad role model. Don't be like your Papa."

Emma and Lilith both giggled after hearing their husband's answer.

They knew Ethan truly didn't intend to end up with many wives at the start, so it was only natural that he'd rather not let his children follow his footsteps.

He hoped they would follow his advice and only love one person in the future.

Making that special someone the happiest woman in the world.

After Nia finished breastfeeding, she reached out to her Papa, asking to be carried as well.

Ethan was more than happy to spoil his cute daughter, carrying both his son and daughter in his arms.

He then took them both to the garden, so they could spend time with their little brother, Lyr, who was also very happy to see and play with his siblings.
