Meanwhile, In the deepest chamber of the Ravagers’ territory, hidden beneath layers of fungal growth and twisting roots.

A dim blue light illuminated the cavern, emanating from clusters of bioluminescent fungi embedded within the walls. At the heart of the chamber rested a makeshift throne-like structure carved from solid rock and bones, a symbol of dominance.

On it sat the true Alpha Ravager. He wasn’t large. In fact, he was noticeably smaller than even the Phantom Ravagers. His form was slender, and lean. His chitinous armor was pitch-black, smooth like obsidian, reflecting dim light like polished glass.

The spines lining his back pulsed rhythmically with pure, raw mana—each surge sending ripples of power throughout the chamber. Standing before him, forming a semicircle, were four distinctive Ravagers, each emanating a unique presence.

The bluish-armored Ravager, flexed impatiently—sparks crackling faintly across its carapace. Storm Ravager. Its restless demeanor was clear, pacing back and forth, claws occasionally twitching with barely-contained energy. If Ben were here, he will recognized it instantly as this is the one he have seen trough the krell scout eyes.

Next to it stood the orange-armored beast, its body radiating a blazing heat that warped the air around it. Inferno Ravager. Unlike Storm, it stood motionless, eyes smoldering, patiently waiting for command.

A purplish figure crouched nearby, its carapace oozing a viscous fluid, which dripped to the ground, sizzling as it hit the stone. Venom Ravager. Its eyes darted around shrewdly, observing everything.

Lastly, a green-armored giant, its carapace thick and bark-like, with vines and moss growing from its massive shoulders. Earth Ravager. It remained motionless, almost statue-like, eyes narrowed in quiet contemplation.

Storm Ravager broke the silence first,

’That damned outsider has slaughtered another nest. How long must we wait? Allow me to strike—I’ll tear him limb from limb!’

Inferno growled softly, flames flickering beneath its mandibles.’ Your impatience will only get you killed, Storm. Why you still angry because he ambush your nest?’

Storm shot back angrily. ’You speak as if you’re scared, Inferno. He two of my brute, I will not allow them go free any longer. ’

Inferno bristled, heat flaring dangerously, the temperature in the chamber rising. ’Careful, Storm. I’ll burn you to ashes before he even gets the chance.’

Venom clicked its mandibles sharply, interrupting ’Enough bickering, fools. Let him come to us. He grows overconfident. Let his arrogance blind him—then, we strike. He’ll die without ever knowing how it happened.’ Based on intel he get so far

Earth Ravager’s deep rumble filled the chamber. ’Venom speaks truth. A trap is wiser. But we must be cautious. He still don’t know the extend of our strength, and his strength unknown. He killed one of your Phantom underlings with ease.’

The Alpha Ravager, silent until now, finally spoke—his voice carrying absolute authority.

’All of you underestimate him. He learns quickly—adapts even faster. I have seen it, his newly build base keep improving.’

Storm hissed impatiently. ’Then what do you suggest, Alpha? Continue to let him massacre our kin without consequence?’

The Alpha’s eyes flashed with coldness, the glow from his spines intensifying momentarily.

’We do the same. He learns our tactics? Fine. We learn his. The next time he moves, we give him exactly what he seeks—an enemy worthy of his attention. ’

Inferno tilted its head. ’And who shall face him? You?’

The Alpha’s mandibles clicked softly, feeling amused. ’No. Venom, Storm—prepare yourselves. You will confront him together. Inferno—you will raid his stronghold taking everything valuable you can. Those shiny thing that explode, I want to know what is that.’

Storm’s carapace surged, electricity arcing across its form in excitement. ’Perfect. Finally—I’ll show him what happened to those that anger me.’

Venom clicked quietly, ’He won’t even have time to scream.’

The Alpha leaned back, his eyes narrowing in satisfaction. ’Then go. Teach this outsider the true meaning of fear.’

The four generals bowed deeply, reverently. One by one, they disappeared, each eager for the confrontation ahead. Left alone, the Alpha smiled coldly. ’Show me your strength, outsider. It will make devouring you all the more satisfying.’

Meanwhile ben already moved to other nest, he land like meteor, sending debris and crushed earth flying everywhere. Before the dust settled, his pickaxe had already torn through the nearest Ravager, splitting its skull with a satisfying crack.

The Ravagers roared in response, immediately shifting formation. Three Brutes stormed toward him, their bulky armored bodies creating a living wall. At their center, Ben caught sight of something smaller, a single Phantom Ravager. He smirked. "Only one of you per nest, huh? Makes sense."

A Brute swung heavily, its massive claws slicing the air. Ben ducked beneath it, planting his foot and turn sharply. His pickaxe swept upward in a devastating arc, cracking open the Brute’s chest armor with an explosive crunch. "Consume!" Ben commanded, his hand warping instantly into a monstrous maw, devouring the creature whole.

[Ravager consumed. Acquired 48 biomass.]

Two more Brutes rushed him simultaneously, hoping to trap him between their combined weight. Ben grinned coldly, materializing a Grimslate block directly between them. Both Ravagers slammed headfirst into it, staggering back dazed. He leapt upward, crashing down onto one’s spine, crushing it underfoot before swiftly executing the other with a savage strike through its skull. "Consume!" He didn’t even pause, devouring both in quick succession.

Just as Ben moved forward, a sudden chill shot down his spine. He twisted instinctively as claws appeared inches from his neck—the Phantom Ravager striking from nowhere. Its claws carved shallow grooves into his chitin armor as it flickered away again. "Tch, sneaky bastard," Ben muttered, eyes sharpening.

Several Ravagers charged from the side, attempting to capitalize on his distraction. Ben swiftly materialized another block, smashing it sideways into their ranks. Bones snapped and bodies flew, scattering across the ground in heaps. "Consume!" he growled, devouring them rapidly, but no useful trait emerged this time, irritating him further.

[Ravager consumed. Acquired 37 biomass.]

[Ravager consumed. Acquired 40 biomass.]

He barely had a second before the Phantom Ravager appeared again—this time directly behind him. Ben whipped around, striking immediately, only for his pickaxe to pass through thin air. He snarled. The creature was clearly baiting him, waiting for openings after each attack. ’Fine. Let’s play your game,’ he thought, closing his eyes briefly, shutting down his sense, focusing only on his instinct.
