Yandere Levelling in Her World-Chapter 151 - 152: Unknown Forces
The Wyrmscourge Wolves howled as they circled the ruined street, cracked asphalt and broken buildings forming a jagged hunting ground with several giant trees decorated those buildings.
Their scales shimmered faintly under the gray sky, power leaking from their fangs as they lunged again and again.
Nina stepped forward without hesitation.
Her giant greatsword crashed down like a falling tower.
"Out of my way."
The blade cleaved straight through a wolf's armored skull, smashing it into the ground with a thunderous impact. The shockwave rippled outward, tossing dust and shattered concrete into the air. Another wolf tried to flank her, only for Nina to twist her wrist and swing sideways. The sheer weight behind the strike snapped its spine mid leap.
Selene watched from the rear.
"She hasn't lost any strength," Selene murmured. "If anything…"
"She's stronger," Kyouka said quietly.
Kyouka blurred between the wolves, twin daggers flashing. She moved low and fast, slipping under snapping jaws, her blades carving precise lines along weak points. Blood sprayed, bodies dropped, but her expression remained cold.
Too cold.
A wolf pounced at her back.
Kyouka vanished.
A faint shimmer formed around her feet as a small circular field appeared, a simple domain no larger than a room. Inside it, her movements sharpened, power flowing cleanly. She reappeared behind the wolf and drove both daggers into its neck.
The beast collapsed without a sound.
Nina glanced at her briefly.
"…You're pushing yourself, Kyouka"
"I'll be fine," Kyouka replied flatly.
Selene frowned.
Something was wrong.
Kyouka's eyes burned every time they flicked toward Nina. There was anger there, buried deep, sharp and restrained. And Nina, despite swinging her blade with overwhelming force, looked distant. Her strikes were perfect, but her mind was clearly elsewhere.
"She's not fully here," Selene thought. "Both of them are up to no good."
The remaining wolves tried to retreat, their pack formation breaking under the pressure.
"Don't let them escape," Nina ordered.
She stepped forward, raising her greatsword again.
That was when gunfire echoed.
Bang. Bang. Bang.
Bullets tore through the air, ripping into the fleeing wolves. Several dropped instantly, their bodies jerking before collapsing.
Everyone froze.
More shots of several powers followed, controlled and precise. A group of armed figures emerged from behind the ruined buildings, moving in formation. Their uniforms were unmistakable.
Military.
Selene's eyes widened. "Soldiers?"
Nina clicked her tongue sharply. "Tch."
The soldiers advanced, rifles raised, mowing down the remaining wolves with practiced efficiency while using their powers through those rifles which were especially designed to enhance the power. Within moments, the street fell silent, littered with monster corpses.
One of the soldiers shouted, "Don't move! We are police!"
The word felt wrong.
Outdated.
Nina stepped forward, resting her greatsword against her shoulder.
"Police?" she scoffed. "Your rules and regulations do not apply here any longer."
The soldiers stiffened.
"This territory belongs to us," Nina continued. "Valkyrie Fang. If you don't back down, things will get ugly."
The soldiers exchanged uneasy glances.
They were all women.
And everyone standing behind Nina belonged to Valkyrie Fang.
Their expressions darkened.
One of them muttered, "Armed women claiming territory…"
Selene felt the tension spike.
Then footsteps echoed from the back of the formation.
A woman stepped forward.
She wore a general's insignia, her posture straight, eyes sharp despite the exhaustion etched into her face. When her gaze landed on Nina, her lips curled into a thin smile.
"Nina Raj," the woman called out. "It's such a pleasure to see a familiar face around here."
Nina's expression hardened. "General Kazami."
Kazami raised an eyebrow. "Didn't expect to see you alive."
Nina smirked faintly. "Same to you."
Kazami glanced around at the Valkyrie Fang members. "What is this? I hear this area is under your control now."
She narrowed her eyes. "Are you rebelling against the government?"
Nina laughed softly. "Government?"
She pointed around them.
"Look around you, Kazami. Does this look like Norbata to you?"
Kazami fell silent.
Broken skyscrapers leaned at impossible angles. Mana storms flickered in the distance. Monster corpses rotted where streets once thrived.
"This is no longer the country you and I lived in before," Nina said calmly. "And if the world has changed, then we need to change too. For our own safety."
Kazami studied her face.
Then she looked at Kyouka.
At Selene.
At the other Valkyrie Fang members standing firm behind Nina.
"What is your goal?" Kazami asked. "And what have you found about this disaster?"
Nina smiled.
It was not warm.
"We are no longer friends or under the same flag, I have no reason to share anything" she said. "Not unless we build a new friendship."
She lowered her sword slightly.
"Why don't we make a peace pact officially?" Nina suggested. "Like civilized people would do. Let's talk this out on a later date."
Kazami hesitated.
Then she nodded slowly. "I agree. We can discuss things."
She turned to her soldiers. "We're leaving."
As they began to withdraw, a voice rang out.
"Wait."
Kyouka stepped forward, eyes sharp.
"Have you found a woman named Misa Tachibana?" she asked. "A doctor. She was supposed to be kidnapped by traitors."
Kazami stopped.
Her jaw tightened.
"…Traitors," she muttered. "That's one name I don't even want to hear anymore."
She turned back around, her voice colder now.
"They caused this disaster. Killed so many people."
Nina narrowed her eyes. "What are they up to now?"
Kazami shook her head. "We don't know."
She clenched her fist.
"Our hands are too busy dealing with monsters and protecting survivors to track them properly. But I know one thing."
She looked toward the distant skyline.
"They're not done. Something big is happening inside that lab."
Selene inhaled sharply. "The lab?"
"We can't reach it," Kazami continued. "The highest concentration of monsters is gathered around that area."
Nina let out a low breath. "That's useful information."
Kazami gave a tired nod. "That's all I can say about that and when it comes to Misa Tachibana I never heard about someone like that."
She turned away.
As the military unit disappeared into the ruins, silence settled once more.
Nina watched them go, eyes unreadable.
Then she turned to Selene and Kyouka.
"We're heading back to headquarters," Nina said quietly.
Selene blinked. "Already?"
"That woman might look like she wants peace," Nina replied. "But I know her."
Her grip tightened on the greatsword.
"General Kazami is a poisonous snake."
Kyouka's eyes darkened.
Selene nodded slowly.
The wolves were gone.
But something far more dangerous had just stepped onto the board.

Ren tightened the straps of his bag and let out a slow breath.
"This place…" he muttered. "I don't want to waste time here anymore."
The room was quiet, almost painfully so. Staying here meant stagnation, and Ren knew better than anyone that standing still in this world was the same as dying.
He glanced down at his hands.
Kyouka's power flowed through him naturally now. Too naturally.
"It's grown fast," he thought. "Faster than I expected."
Their bond had deepened over time, and with it, the strength he carried. Every shared night and sexual encounter, every moment of closeness had refined her abilities inside him, sharpening his speed, control, and lethal precision.
And that was exactly why he knew the problem.
"As soon as I leave… she'll follow," Ren said quietly.
Kyouka was no fool. She would find me immediately.
Ren zipped the bag halfway, his expression darkening as another name crossed his mind.
"Nina…"
She was the hardest part.
Unlike Astrid, Nina wasn't driven by ambition or visions of rebuilding the world. She didn't chase power or ideals. She fought because it was necessary, survived because she had to.
"She's grounded," Ren murmured. "Too grounded."
And that was why he wasn't worried about losing her.
"I'll find her again," he said with certainty. "No matter where I go."
That strange pull he felt toward her hadn't faded. If anything, it lingered like an unanswered question. Once he understood it, once he understood himself, he knew he could come back to her.
Ren exhaled slowly.
"Tonight," he thought.
He planned to finally fuck her before leaving so he can accquire her power. He had been training her so that she would not possibly turn into a yandere one day, but with Kyouka's latest development, Ren wasn't so sure about that even though Nina was so submissive.
"I'm leaving to find Misa," he rehearsed quietly. "And Hiyori."
That much was true.
They were missing. Important. And standing around here wouldn't bring them back.
"And before I go…" his jaw tightened. "I'll need her strength."
Nina's power was no small thing. If he was going to walk into what lay ahead, he needed everything he could gather.
Not greed.
Preparation.
Ren slung the bag over his shoulder and turned toward the door.
That was when it happened.
*BANG.*
The sound was explosive, violent. Wood splintered. Metal screamed.
Ren's eyes widened.
"What the—?"
Another crash followed, followed by shouting.
Ren dropped the bag and ran.
The entrance hall was in chaos. The door had been torn from its hinges, lying shattered across the floor. Dust hung thick in the air.
And there, at the center of it all—
"Astrid!" Ren shouted.
She was lifted off the ground, her feet dangling helplessly. One hand clawed at the arm wrapped around her throat, her face flushed red as she struggled to breathe.
Holding her was a woman.
Tall. Slender. Perfectly balanced body with all the right curves.
Golden hair fell down her back like liquid light. Her body was flawless in a way that felt unnatural, every line deliberate, every movement graceful. She wore clothes similar to those of the Lan people, yet refined, as if tailored by something beyond human taste.
Ren froze.
"…No way," he whispered.
The woman turned.
And their eyes met.
Ren's breath caught in his throat.
His instincts screamed. Every hair on his body stood on end. His heart pounded so hard it hurt.
This wasn't play.
This was intent.
The woman smiled.
Soft. Sweet.
Dangerous.
"My love," she said gently, her voice sending chills down Ren's spine. "I'm here to pick you up."
Astrid gasped weakly, her hands trembling.
Ren took a step forward. "What the fuck are you doing here?"
The woman tilted her head, as if mildly amused, then released Astrid without effort. Astrid collapsed to the floor, coughing violently,
The woman's attention never left Ren.
"Don't worry," she continued, walking toward him with unhurried steps. "I'm not here to cause trouble."
Ren swallowed. "Lan Jia…"
Her smile widened just a little.
"That name doesn't belong to me anymore," she replied. "You can call me what I truly am."
She stopped a few steps away.
The air felt heavy, oppressive.
Ren clenched his fists. "What are you talking about?"
She raised a finger, resting it lightly against her lips.
"Shush! don't shout at me baby...it feels hurtful when you do." she said. "Let's go on an expedition."
Her eyes gleamed.
"There's so much I want to show you."
Ren felt it then.
The certainty.
She hadn't come to ask.
She had come to claim.
