Your Lord Has A Screw Loose?-Chapter 346 - 348: Positioning, Virtual World
Chapter 346: Chapter 348: Positioning, Virtual World
“Strange, why is it so quiet tonight?”
Qian Tong widened his eyes; his apartment was located by the road, which usually bustled with traffic, but today’s sudden quietness gave him an uneasy feeling.
Then he got up to take a look, and the scene before his eyes shocked him.
“Did I…become deaf???”
He saw the hustle and bustle of cars on the road not far away and the flickering neon lights signifying that everything was normal, which meant the abnormality was with him.
“Damn, what is this mess?” cursed Qian Tong as he walked out. “Looks like stress syndrome is playing tricks again.”
Just as he opened the door, he was greeted by an endless darkness rushing towards him, the world twisted beyond measure, and a massive presence loomed over everyone’s heads.
For a moment, Qian Tong felt a pain in the back of his head, as if a huge hole had been drilled into it.
When he reached to touch, he felt nothing, and when he came to his senses, everything, the so-called darkness and the pain and hole in the back of his head, seemed like it had never happened.
What unfolded before him was merely an ordinary hallway.
He realized it was the stress syndrome again; he had read about the symptoms such as hallucinations and phantom pains on the game’s official website.
So he soon brushed it off and took the elevator.
In the elevator were a man and a woman who seemed to be heading to the ground floor, which made Qian Tong smile – not for any particular reason, just that he was also going to the ground floor, so it saved him the trouble of pressing the button.
In the confined space of the elevator, the three of them remained silent, but Qian Tong noticed that the couple’s faces seemed to be growing paler, which struck him as odd.
They were just rosy cheeked before, so what made their faces change so suddenly? There couldn’t be something wrong with them, could there?
He didn’t dare ask and instead quietly put on a mask, just in case they were contagious.
Feeling a bit tense, Qian Tong was relieved when the elevator finally reached the ground floor. He didn’t care about appearances and hurried out of the elevator.
But what he didn’t see was that after he left, the pupils of the two individuals were completely covered by the whites of their eyes, and drool unconsciously flowed from their mouths as they let out meaningless, guttural groans.
The pair shuffled out of the elevator, their nostrils flaring slightly as if they smelled something.
Nearby, a middle-aged man reeking of alcohol and dressed in a suit was walking over to take the elevator.
“Growl~”
Before the middle-aged man could react, the two pounced on him and began to bite him fiercely.
An invisible data virus started to spread.
Qian Tong was unaware of these events; within a meter radius of where he walked, an aberrant virus was left behind.
The ground began to wriggle like a living thing, sprouting various grotesque limbs and organs, while passersby who crossed his path had their soul data corrupted, transforming into terrifying zombies and spreading the second generation data virus.
Qian Tong did not notice these happenings but felt his thoughts becoming increasingly clear.
“Hello, Federal Investigation Bureau, please hold steady for a moment.”
Just as he got out of a taxi, he saw two men in black who had apparently sprung from nowhere blocking his way.
“Federal Investigation Bureau? Are you guys still working at this hour?” Qian Tong curiously asked.
The investigator, with a stern face, began to speak, “Qian Tong, you are suspected of…suspected of…”
He couldn’t finish his sentence, just repeating the words “suspected of” as if the tape were stuck.
This sent chills through Qian Tong. Here was a living person right in front of him, and suddenly he was acting like this.
The other man in black was doing the same, stuck repeating his previous action.
By then, Qian Tong realized something was wrong, as numerous men in black had appeared around him. Though they looked different, each seemed like a carbon copy of the others.
Seeing this, he instinctively turned and ran as fast as he could.
“Why am I so fast?”
As he ran at full speed, Qian Tong found his pace shockingly quick, even faster than the swiftest sprinter in the Federation.
The environment kept receding, and one by one, black-clad figures were pursuing him in an extremely eerie manner.
Boom…
Suddenly, he shielded himself with both hands, and then a huge force accompanied by pain sent him flying backward, crashing directly into the midst of the black-clad figures.
‘Not good…’
He knew he had been ambushed, but the problem was that his own body had started moving, fighting back against the siege of the black-clad figures.
His moves and styles made him feel ridiculous, and a good number of the black-clad figures even fell into a state as if they were stuck in a loop.
‘What on earth is happening to this world!!!’
Fear started to spread in his heart, and it seemed to be contagious, as the bodies of the black-clad figures besieging him began to twist and blur, like a television with no signal.
Looking up, the sky was dark, but within the darkness, he saw a colossal entity, and beyond that, he saw a spread of red and black.
…
“Master, positioning successful, we’ve obtained a small portion of the Matrix’s authority, and now Heavenly Net has detected us, launching antivirus software for a clean-up,” Black Hand stated excitedly.
Qin Muye was somewhat surprised, “That was quick? Good, lock on immediately, notify everyone to take action!”
Updated from freewёbnoνel.com.
Having found their target, they needed to take swift action; they had an advantage now and must press forward, or else it would be too late if Heavenly Net developed some weapon targeted specifically at them.
The vast Endless Abyss began to move, following the coordinates fed back by the locator, the Super Space-Time Transmission Channel was immediately activated.
Flying there would take forever, and if they cleaned up the locator virus and reclaimed the obtained authority, it would be too late, so direct transmission was the simplest solution.

In the blink of an eye, the world transformed, and the area belonging to Zion Base in the Matrix World was located in a thunderstorm zone.
Heavenly Net folded the space with spatial technology and used a magnetic field to disrupt all signals, if not for Qin Muye’s locator virus being special, originating from an Ancient God, otherwise, they might have really been thwarted.
The release of player Terminators by the opposing side was the same as Qin Muye’s approach, through spatial transmission, and with the enhancement of the Matrix World, it was utterly untraceable.
Though the Matrix World seemed like a virtual world, it was actually constructed by numerous thinking consciousnesses, and with the addition of Heavenly Net and Spark Source, trying to counter-track their transmission method through spatial technology was naturally not easy.
The arrival of the Endless Abyss was of course detected by Heavenly Net, as such a colossal Floating Continent simply couldn’t be concealed, so they initiated a counterattack right away and seemed to be preparing for evacuation.
But Qin Muye had finally caught the tail of his opponent; how could he possibly let them leave just like that?
Therefore, it was only natural to immediately seal the space and launch the first wave of firepower strike to intercept.
In this place, there weren’t only Terminators, but also a large number of mechanical octopuses and various other mechanical creations, which stood no chance against this barrage of firepower and were instantly devastated.
But Zion Base itself was not at risk, because a massive energy shield coupled with an iron curtain withstood this round of firepower.
The colossal Zion Base slowly took off and began to constantly transform.
“Transformers???” Qin Muye suddenly realized, could this Zion Base be one of Heavenly Net’s carriers?
And one that possessed significant combat capabilities at that.
A gigantic mechanical life form appeared before Qin Muye’s eyes; although it was an ant compared to the Endless Abyss, its nearly one-hundred-thousand-meter body was still enormous, with Demon Statue Level Mechas being only a tenth of its size.
“Rectification Agreement initiated, commence forced eradication of the enemy…”
As the mechanical voice came through, Qin Muye couldn’t help but smile, “I finally forced your hand.”
“Size is one thing, but I’m really not interested in your body; I’d much rather have your Matrix.”
Red and black patterns spread on the surface of Qin Muye’s skin, and at that moment, he activated the Magic Network of the entire Endless Abyss.
In an instant, it connected to the Matrix World inside of Heavenly Net’s body.
The battle between the two sides began at that instant, as countless firepower strikes roared into action, and Heavenly Net’s colossal body also burst forth with terrifying Power, seemingly trying to snap the Endless Abyss in half.
But soon, a dense swarm of meteor-like objects burst forth; they were huge solid iron spheres.
Each sphere carried unparalleled strength, not only smashing through Heavenly Net’s protective shields but even its body was unable to withstand the impact, and craters were formed.
