Your Talent is Mine-Chapter 1000: The Blackwind Mountain King’s Dialogue
TL: Etude
“Finally succeeded in refining the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar!” Ye Tian smiled.
At this moment, the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar stood tall within the small domain, its overwhelming divine power now subdued.
Under Ye Tian’s control, the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar created a cultivation zone. Anyone entering this zone would be subjected to the pillar’s pressure, allowing them to temper both their physical bodies and souls.
Even Ye Tian, the master of the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar, could use it
for his own cultivation.
“Let’s test the cultivation effects!” 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Ye Tian stepped into the cultivation zone, and a terrifying pressure descended upon him immediately.
The Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar adjusted its pressure according to the cultivation level of the entrant, ensuring no one would be crushed to death by the overwhelming force.
Under the intense pressure, Ye Tian activated the Nine Limits True Body Technique. His cultivation speed surged far beyond what it was in normal closed-door training, and even his soul was continuously tempered.
“Time acceleration!”
Ye Tian activated the time formation within the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar, speeding up the flow of time within the zone.
This significantly boosted the cultivation pace.
However, maintaining the time formation required vast amounts of energy. Although the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar could absorb energy from the outside world, it could barely sustain its own operations, making it difficult to keep the time formation running. Therefore, a large amount of resources had to be stored inside the pillar.
Otherwise, cultivators would have to activate the time formation themselves while training in the zone, using it to temper their bodies and souls. But doing so would reduce the formation’s effectiveness. Even so, the cultivation speed would still be far better than usual.
More importantly, even while contemplating other techniques or origin divine abilities in this cultivation zone, the body and soul would be constantly strengthened. This meant one could grow stronger simply by staying inside—essentially, they could lie down and get stronger.
The potential for producing powerful cultivators within this zone was evident.
Since Ye Tian had no time to cultivate further, he shut down the zone and instead began inscribing the Pillar Mark of the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar onto himself.
The pillar was too difficult to wield directly. With Ye Tian’s current cultivation, it was impractical to fight enemies while holding it. Thus, he opted to inscribe the pillar’s mark, which would allow him to summon a phantom of the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar in battle.
The Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar could inscribe three tiers of marks:
1. Ordinary Mark – Increases power by 30%.
2. Divine Mark – Doubles the user’s power.
3. Dao Mark – Triples the user’s power.
However, the sect rarely granted disciples the Dao Mark, as it depleted the pillar’s origin energy, which took a long time to recover.
Ye Tian, however, didn’t care. The pillar was his, after all. His top priority was his own strength. With the Dao Mark, his power would skyrocket, greatly enhancing his security.
Therefore, he began inscribing the Dao Mark.
Boom!
The origin energy of the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar connected to Ye Tian’s back, channeling energy as intricate patterns were etched into his skin. Gradually, these patterns took the form of a miniature Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar.
After a long while, the inscription was complete. The Dao Mark faded from view—it would only manifest in the heat of battle and remain invisible at other times.
“It’s time to leave. With the amplification from the Dao Mark, my strength has skyrocketed. As long as I’m not surrounded by too many Dao Ancestor incarnations, I should be able to escape with ease!”
Ye Tian was filled with confidence as he stepped out of the small domain.
Soon after, he left the small domain behind.
But just as he exited, a voice echoed across the entire space:
“This Provisional Peak Lord is no simple figure. His strength is remarkable, even greater than ours was when we were at the True Monarch stage. And his luck? Extraordinary. He managed to seize the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar from the Sky-Splitting Sect.”
“I remember there are still some surviving Dao Ancestors from the Sky-Splitting Sect, right? If they learn that their divine pillar has been taken by the Provisional Peak Lord of our Blackwind Mountain, they’ll probably be furious!”
Another voice chimed in:
“The Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar isn’t all that great. Sure, it can produce six Dao Ancestors, but these Dao Ancestors are the weakest kind—not even comparable to a First Heaven Dao Ancestor. They’re practically useless to the major factions… I recall that the Sky-Splitting Sect created six Dao Ancestors in the past, but after those six fell, they stopped making more.”
“Indeed, it was useless to the Sky-Splitting Sect. Otherwise, the sect’s Dao Ancestors wouldn’t have left the divine pillar behind during the great war.
But for this little fellow, the Sky-Splitting Divine Pillar is extremely valuable—it’s a genuine supreme treasure!”
Then came another voice:
“Wind King, a wisp of your consciousness has awakened. Your main body—how close are you to awakening?”
“Soon. But even if I awaken fully, I won’t dare to emerge.
Right now, the world is only a quasi-Dao realm. Until it becomes a full-fledged Dao realm, we cannot return.
The Chaos Grand Dao doesn’t permit those who break its rules to appear. If we force our way out, we’ll suffer severe backlash.
We’ve already been seriously injured once, and it took us so long to recover. I’d rather not damage my origin energy again.”
“True. Of the Ten Kings of Blackwind Mountain, only six of us were fortunate enough to descend into this new domain along with the Domain Realm Fragment. The other four… they likely perished in the battle within the Domain Realm. Even if they didn’t, we’ve lost all contact with them.
Separated by a whole domain, the distance is too vast, and we don’t even know if we’ll ever return to the Divine Heaven Domain.”
“What’s the point of going back? Seeking death? We’re better off staying here. There’s no Domain Ancestor in this new domain, so there’s a chance we could rise to become one ourselves!”
Their conversation gradually faded.
If Ye Tian had overheard this dialogue, he would have been utterly shocked. Blackwind Mountain still had surviving Dao Ancestors—and the Blackwind Mountain King had already noticed him.
However, since Ye Tian was now a Provisional Peak Lord of Blackwind Mountain, the king wouldn’t trouble him.
In truth, despite Blackwind Mountain being a bandit force, its internal unity was astonishing. This unity was one of the main reasons the group had survived in the domain realms for so long—and a key factor behind the fear it inspired among other factions.
…
The Battlefield Ruins
Ye Tian flew swiftly across the sky, searching for places where opportunities might be hidden.
As for the Sky-Splitting Sect, he dared not return. The risk of being surrounded again by more Dao Ancestor incarnations was too great.
However—
After only half a day of flight, he was intercepted by three Dao Ancestor incarnations.
