Your Talent is Mine-Chapter 1042: The Green Life Tribe
TL: Etude
“I’ll go!” Ye Tian made up his mind.
A grand opportunity within the Infinite Abyss was undoubtedly a true grand opportunity.
If not for the fact that those below the level of True Ancestor could enter, and the current Infinite Abyss Fragment was in a weakened state—where even ancient Abyss Lords and Abyss Overlords had either perished or remained in slumber—he might not have qualified to step into the core region of the abyss fragment.
This was perhaps his only chance to be here.
Moreover, that place barred Abyss Lords and above from entering, making it perfectly suited for someone at his current stage.
Ye Tian knew very well that he wouldn’t remain at the Half-Step True Ancestor stage for long. Once he ascended to the level of True Ancestor, the opportunity to explore this treasure trove would be lost forever.
All things considered, the place was worth entering.
His strength was sufficient, and his survival abilities were formidable. The risk of encountering a life-threatening crisis seemed minimal.
In no time, Ye Tian reached the location that Enrodobas had mentioned.
The sky and ground of the Infinite Abyss were almost entirely shrouded in darkness. Even some forests appeared black or eerie, with almost no signs of greenery in sight.
However, Ye Tian had arrived at a vast ocean, and above this ocean lay a green oasis, with a lush forest spread across it.
Such a place looked far too unusual, entirely out of place in the Infinite Abyss, as though it had been forcibly embedded here from another world.
This was the grand opportunity mentioned by Enrodobas—a location known among the Abyss Lords as Green Moss Grove.
Green Moss Grove was devoid of any abyssal creatures or Abyss Lords. The reason wasn’t that they disregarded it, but because they couldn’t survive here.
Some unseen force suppressed them, rendering their abilities almost useless. Not only that, they couldn’t even cultivate while staying here.
For an abyssal creature—or worse, an Abyss Lord—the inability to cultivate was an unimaginable torment.
Thus, Green Moss Grove had no abyssal creatures or Abyss Lords, and not a single living being resided within. It was eerily silent, heightening the sense of strangeness.
At the center of the Green Moss Grove
Ye Tian descended into this tranquil space, his gaze locking onto a pitch-black cave entrance. The darkness within was so impenetrable that neither his spiritual sense nor any other technique could penetrate it to discern what lay inside.
He tried sending a clone inside, but as soon as it crossed the threshold, all connection to it was severed.
Once the link broke, the clone lost the support needed to maintain itself. With no awareness of the internal environment, it soon dissipated entirely.

“It seems there’s no shortcut. I must go in personally.” Ye Tian murmured softly.
Without further hesitation, he resolutely entered the cave, his form gradually swallowed by the encompassing darkness.
A long, dark passage stretched endlessly before him, and Ye Tian felt as if he had lost control over his body, drawn forward by an unseen force. He had no idea how far he had traveled or how much time had passed.
Suddenly, his balance faltered, and he plummeted downward. Yet, he quickly regained control over his body, stabilizing himself mid-air and landing gracefully on a patch of green grass.
He had made it inside!
“What a dense vitality!” Ye Tian exclaimed as he surveyed his surroundings.
It felt like a paradise hidden away from the world. Everything here brimmed with life and energy, completely out of place within the lifeless and dark Infinite Abyss.
However, in the next instant, a killing intent descended.
A green figure emerged from the void, wielding a long green spear, thrusting it toward Ye Tian.
This green figure stood only about 1.2 meters tall and appeared somewhat thin, but the power emanating from its body was terrifying. The green spear in its hand pulsed with the force of profound Dao principles, as if it could pierce through anything.
Boom!!!!
Ye Tian clashed head-on with the figure. He remained unmoved, but the green figure was sent flying, its body exploding into pieces. Yet, with a surge of life energy, it quickly regenerated.
“What terrifying recovery speed!” Ye Tian marveled.
The regeneration was even faster than his own Blood River True Body technique.
He sensed that his previous attack had severely injured the green figure, but it had managed to recover in an instant.
This wasn’t normal!
“Copy Talent, probe!”
Using his Copy Talent, Ye Tian thoroughly scanned the opponent’s talents.
Meng Jiu
Race: Green Life Tribe
Strength Talent: Super God-level
Speed Talent: Super God-level
Defense Talent: Super God-level
Life Reversal: Super God-level
Spear Talent: Supreme-level
Space Talent: God-level
Perception Talent: God-level
“Green Life Tribe!”
Ye Tian had never heard of this race before. It was likely a race unique to this place, with no known existence in the outside world.
One of the talents possessed by this opponent was something Ye Tian had never encountered before—Super God-level Life Reversal.
However, even a Super God-level talent shouldn’t be this overpowered. It was highly likely that the unique properties of this place enabled the Life Reversal talent to absorb the surrounding life force, allowing for such rapid regeneration.
Thus, the Life Reversal talent only displayed such terrifying effects here. Once outside, it would merely function as an ordinary Super God-level talent.
Even so, Ye Tian still copied this talent. At the very least, it was a new ability for him to use.
Meng Jiu of the Green Life Tribe wasn’t particularly powerful. Ye Tian first suppressed him with the Blackwind Domain Technique, then trapped his soul with the Infinite Descent Illusion, and began interrogating him.
Although the Green Life Tribe wasn’t highly intelligent, they did possess some degree of wisdom. Under Ye Tian’s questioning, he finally managed to piece together some information about this place.
According to Meng Jiu’s account, the Green Life Tribe was the ruling species here. In addition to them, there were countless ordinary creatures raised as their livestock, serving as food.
The Green Life Tribe was incredibly powerful. Meng Jiu, for instance, was merely a member of the tribe’s guard patrol, responsible for scouting this area—far from being among the tribe’s elite.
Even so, just a patrol guard was stronger than a top-tier Half-Step True Ancestor. Though not as fearsome as abyssal creatures like Moen, Meng Jiu’s strength was comparable to that of disciples from powerful sects like the Beastmaster Sect.
This showed just how formidable the Green Life Tribe truly was.
Without Abyss Lords or Abyss Overlords able to enter, only lesser abyssal creatures—devoid of intelligence and guided purely by instinct—could enter this space. Yet even they would almost certainly perish, with a survival rate of no more than 1%.
Enrodobas had entered this place while still at the level of an abyssal creature, and his ability to escape alive was nothing short of miraculous.
“So, Enrodobas truly harbors ill intent. He likely wanted the Green Life Tribe to kill me!” Ye Tian speculated.
Still, he had to admit that this place was rich with resources. For instance, Harmony-level treasures were considered ordinary here, easily cultivated by the Green Life Tribe.
There was also some good news: the Green Life Tribe had no Dao Ancestor-level experts. Due to certain flaws in this space—and weaknesses within the tribe itself—they had never been able to produce a Dao Ancestor-level powerhouse.
However, the tribe did have several True Ancestors, and their numbers were far from small.
