Your Talent is Mine-Chapter 1060: General Bloodfiend and Peak Lord Dragon Force
TL: Etude
“The Strongest Newly Ascended True Ancestor!”
“The Strongest True Ancestral Force!”
“The Strongest Talent!”
Many were stunned by Ye Tian’s three talents. Just what kind of monstrous aptitude could set these three Ancient Realm Records? Numerous ancient beings who prided themselves on their own invincibility as True Ancestors were deeply discontented.
“If the Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws only achieved the title of the Strongest Newly Ascended True Ancestor, I could accept it, considering his unmatched power at the Half-Step True Ancestor level.
But what is this about the Strongest True Ancestral Force and the Strongest Talent?”
“How could a mere newly ascended True Ancestor hold the record for the Strongest True Ancestral Force? Is his True Ancestral Force really stronger than ours?”
“Is this Ancient Realm Record some family heirloom of the Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws, showing such clear favoritism toward him? I refuse to accept this!”
Countless True Ancestors voiced their discontent, yet the Ancient Realm Record did not heed their protests. If they could not surpass Ye Tian’s records, these three achievements would forever remain on the Ancient Records, for future generations to admire.
Meanwhile, even the True Ancestors of the Upper Three Heavens forces were shocked by Ye Tian’s three records.
They didn’t doubt the authenticity of the Ancient Realm Records; after all, though an Invincible Dao Ancestor could destroy the Ancient Realm, even he couldn’t alter its rules or fabricate records.
In an instant, their interest in Ye Tian grew significantly, seeing him as a formidable future adversary. Some even considered eliminating him early to prevent future trouble.
However, word soon spread among the Upper Three Heavens forces that Ye Tian was a Provisional Peak Lord of Blackwind Mountain.
At that, their assassination plans ceased.
It wasn’t that they feared Blackwind Mountain, but provoking them was unnecessary. Blackwind Mountain’s people were notorious for their madness, capable of anything at any time.
To risk Blackwind Mountain’s retaliation now would be a costly mistake. Besides, they had no real enmity with Ye Tian, and they might even collaborate someday, so there was no need to assassinate him.
Within the Blackwind Mountain Small Domain.
In what was once an empty domain, True Ancestors of various levels now gathered densely, holding a meeting.
The presiding figure was a General of Blackwind Mountain known as General Bloodfiend. Over thirty Generals participated, while the other True Ancestors present were all of Peak Lord rank.
Ordinary True Ancestors weren’t qualified to attend this meeting.
The agenda covered various topics, such as how Blackwind Mountain would engage with the Ancient Realm and future plans.
Before long, they delved into another topic.
“Previously, the Wind King sent word to us about a Provisional Peak Lord. This Provisional Peak Lord hails from the Ancient Realm. At first, I didn’t care about him. But now, this Provisional Peak Lord has achieved three Ancient Realm Records, proving he is a true prodigy!” General Bloodfiend declared.
Hearing this, the other Generals and Peak Lords began discussing Ye Tian.
“That one called Ye Tian, the Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws, has already become a True Ancestor. He should be eligible to inherit the position of Peak Lord. We currently have a shortage of Peak Lords and urgently need to recruit capable people; otherwise, how can Blackwind Mountain recover during the coming era of prosperity?” One General spoke up.
“Peak Lord Dragon Force, you shall guide Ye Tian through the Peak Lord assessment. Show him some of Blackwind Mountain’s remarkable qualities, lest he be poached by other Upper Three Heavens forces!” General Bloodfiend instructed.
At this, a colossal figure, towering at five meters tall and possessing a robust build, stepped forward. “Understood, General Bloodfiend!”
Shortly after, the meeting concluded, and each General and Peak Lord departed.
Peak Lord Dragon Force, however, used his Peak Lord Token to contact Ye Tian.
Human Territory.
Sensing a message from his Provisional Peak Lord Token, Ye Tian activated it, receiving a message.
“Ye Tian, I am Peak Lord Dragon Force of Blackwind Mountain, under orders from General Bloodfiend to serve as your guide and lead you through the Blackwind Mountain Peak Lord assessment. Do you have some time? If so, join me in the Wind King Small Domain for further discussion!”
Upon receiving this message, Ye Tian’s expression shifted. “So, Blackwind Mountain has emerged too.”
He didn’t know much about Blackwind Mountain, only that its strength rivaled that of the Upper Three Heavens forces.
In terms of foundation, even Dao Mountain likely fell short of Blackwind Mountain.
He was already a Provisional Peak Lord; the next step would make him a full Peak Lord of Blackwind Mountain.
But should he truly take on the role of Peak Lord? As a Provisional Peak Lord, he could still leave Blackwind Mountain. However, becoming a Peak Lord would make it difficult to break free.
After some contemplation, Ye Tian made a decision—to join! If he wanted to advance further, he needed to align himself with a powerful backing. Though the Void Sky lineage was also strong, Dao Ancestor Void Sky was merely a newly ascended Fourth Heaven Dao Ancestor.
Blackwind Mountain knew he was a disciple of the Void Sky lineage, but it didn’t seem to mind, which suggested they were willing to accept him as a Peak Lord.
In the Domain Realm, it was common for disciples of Upper Three Heavens forces to be core members or even elders in other organizations.
Moreover, Blackwind Mountain wasn’t a traditional sect but an organization, so his affiliations mattered little to them.
Still, he sought Dao Ancestor Void Sky’s opinion.
Soon, Dao Ancestor Void Sky replied, advising him to join Blackwind Mountain as a Peak Lord, as it would offer him greater opportunities for growth and avoid potential setbacks.
If he encountered too many setbacks, Ye Tian might become a Dao Ancestor, but achieving the path of a Domain Ancestor would be difficult.
With that, Ye Tian sent a message to Peak Lord Dragon Force, agreeing to meet in the Wind King Small Domain for further discussion.
The Wind King Small Domain was the same one he had entered before. He went there first, and soon, a towering figure approached him.
“Ye Tian, finding you was no easy task. There are so many spaces within this Small Domain. I had to search through several before finding you,” Peak Lord Dragon Force said. “Let’s add each other as contacts so we can locate one another in the Wind King Small Domain and appear in the same space instantly.”
“Does this mean there’s more to the Wind King Small Domain than just this space?” Ye Tian asked, puzzled.
“Of course, there’s more!” Peak Lord Dragon Force explained. “A Small Domain is divided into a hundred spaces. For instance, the spaces used by Generals for meetings or discussions are different from ours. Some spaces are used for trading, others for building fortresses with resident True Ancestors, even Dao Ancestors, or for storing treasures.
In General, only those of Peak Lord rank or higher can sense these spaces. Anyone else has to use a specific teleportation array to enter them.
The space you’re currently in is one of the abandoned or damaged ones.
Even the Wind King sustained severe injuries and needs time to recover, and so do these spaces.”
“So that’s how it is!” Ye Tian realized.
Previously, he’d thought this Small Domain seemed somewhat low-tier; now he understood how little he actually knew.
“Allow me to introduce myself again. I am Peak Lord Dragon Force of Blackwind Mountain, with cultivation at the later stage of the Grand Dao Realm. Among the many Peak Lords, I rank thirty-second, but since the Domain Realm Shattering Battle took many Peak Lords, I now rank eighth.”
“I’m Ye Tian, leader of the Human Race, true disciple of the Void Sky lineage, early Grand Dao Realm cultivator, and Provisional Peak Lord,” Ye Tian introduced himself in turn.
“Ye Tian, everyone here knows your identity, but it’s best for you to use an alternate identity that exists only within Blackwind Mountain, separate from your external identity.
“For us, all ties to our original foundations in the Domain Realm are long severed, so it doesn’t matter if our identities are exposed. But you’re different; you still have roots outside.
“Your alternate identity may not fool the high-ranking members of the Upper Three Heavens, but as long as it’s concealed from others, that’s sufficient.
“Now, proceed with the Peak Lord assessment, choose a Peak Lord name, and claim a set of Peak Lord robes and a mask,” Peak Lord Dragon Force advised.
“Understood!” Ye Tian agreed.
Peak Lord Dragon Force led Ye Tian to another space within the Wind King Small Domain, a space designated for assessments.
“First, a cultivation test—this is a mandatory step,” Peak Lord Dragon Force stated.
Ye Tian went through a simple test to confirm his cultivation level, proving he indeed had reached the early Grand Dao Realm.
The second test assessed his foundation. If someone had used some foundation-damaging method to forcibly elevate themselves to the True Ancestor level, Blackwind Mountain wouldn’t accept such a True Ancestor with limited potential.
This test posed no pressure for Ye Tian, and he passed it easily.
The third part of the assessment tested combat power. A True Ancestor with insufficient combat strength, even if they advanced to the later or peak stage of the Grand Dao Realm, couldn’t become a Peak Lord; they could only serve under a Peak Lord or General.
After all, the hundred Generals and Peak Lords were, in essence, independent and unrestrained. General Bloodfiend was an exception, managing the Generals and Peak Lords on behalf of the Wind King.
Peak Lord Dragon Force took orders from General Bloodfiend, but he didn’t have to follow commands from other Generals.
This showed just how prestigious the position of Peak Lord was, along with the privileges it carried, which is why combat strength requirements were so stringent.
If combat strength weren’t high, anyone could claim the title of Peak Lord!
