TL: Etude

At first, many factions didn’t know what a Realm Stone was. But Upper Three Heavens forces, wanting to cause trouble for Blackwind Mountain, deliberately revealed the purpose and value of the Realm Stones.

Instantly, countless factions went wild, all privately mocking the Dark God Palace for their ignorance, as they’d guarded these stones for countless years without knowing their use.

If they had known, given the Dark God Palace’s control over the corpse of the Realm Beast for so many ages, they would have already used the stones to cultivate a batch of Dao Ancestors.

Now, the Realm Beast corpse was back in the spotlight, as it could still produce Realm Stones—unless, of course, the essence within the beast’s body was completely exhausted.

However, it would take eons for the essence within a Realm Beast’s corpse to dissipate entirely, so there was no immediate concern. Hence, the value of the Realm Beast corpse remained immense.

Currently, though, the four transcendent forces and several top factions had occupied the Realm Beast corpse. For the time being, other factions had no way to join in, at least until all Domain Realm forces revived.

When that happened, the question of who would claim the Realm Beast corpse might change.

Void Sky True Nation.

Upon learning that the Glazed Glass Sect had been annihilated, the True Ancestors of the Void Sky Hall were ecstatic.

The Glazed Glass Sect had always been an enemy of the Void Sky True Nation, and its True Ancestors often feared being ambushed by Glazed Glass Sect’s True Ancestors whenever they traveled.

Currently, the Void Sky True Nation relied solely on Ye Tian to intimidate the Glazed Glass Sect. If the Glazed Glass Sect attacked, none of the Void Sky True Nation’s True Ancestors, aside from Ye Tian, could ensure their own survival.

Now that the Glazed Glass Sect had been destroyed, and nearly all the True Ancestors of the Dark God Palace were also dead, the Void Sky True Nation felt relieved. Their joy was palpable.

Not long after Ye Tian returned to the Void Sky True Nation, a True Ancestor came to visit him.

If it were just any True Ancestor, Ye Tian might not have bothered to meet. However, this particular visitor was no ordinary True Ancestor; he was a Pinnacle True Ancestor from one of the Upper Three Heavens factions, the Purple Mist Sect.

The Purple Mist Sect, an authentic Seventh Heaven faction, was leagues above a force like the Glazed Glass Sect.

This visiting True Ancestor was none other than a Pinnacle True Ancestor of the Purple Mist Sect named Yellow Light.

“True Ancestor of Ten Thousand Laws, greetings!” True Ancestor Yellow Light bowed respectfully.

“What brings True Ancestor Yellow Light to me?” Ye Tian asked.

He knew True Ancestor Yellow Light’s visit surely wasn’t a trivial matter; otherwise, he wouldn’t have come in person.

“I wish to buy the Realm Stones in your possession,” True Ancestor Yellow Light stated directly.

“Realm Stones? I don’t have any,” Ye Tian replied with a smile.

“No need to deny it!” True Ancestor Yellow Light retorted. “Some Middle Three Heavens factions might be unaware of your identity, but most Upper Three Heavens forces know who you are.

As a General of Blackwind Mountain, you participated in the battle to eliminate the Glazed Glass Sect. Are you saying you didn’t get any Realm Stones as your share? I don’t believe that!” 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

Ye Tian had anticipated that his identity would be known to the Upper Three Heavens factions, as his movements could easily be traced.

Moreover, General Bloodfiend had already informed him that many Upper Three Heavens forces knew of his identity.

When he acquired three Ancient Realm Records, several Upper Three Heavens True Ancestors had attempted to kill him, but they were warned off by General Bloodfiend.

Thus, his joining of Blackwind Mountain was no secret.

“I only have a few Realm Stones, which I won’t be trading,” Ye Tian stated flatly.

“True Ancestor of Ten Thousand Laws, no need to be stubborn. Trading a few of them would do no harm, and you’d gain substantial resources. It benefits us both! Otherwise…” True Ancestor Yellow Light’s voice turned cold, his tone clearly threatening.

“Oh? And what if I refuse?” Ye Tian responded indifferently.

“Then you’ll gain a new enemy, even the entire Purple Mist Sect as your foe!” True Ancestor Yellow Light threatened directly.

“Then so be it. Do you really think the Purple Mist Sect surpasses Blackwind Mountain? How dare you threaten me—you lack the qualifications!” Ye Tian replied coldly.

“You…!” True Ancestor Yellow Light was incensed.

He had never thought much of Ye Tian, assuming he was just a talented native who had advanced because of Blackwind Mountain’s favor.

If he could obtain a few Realm Stones, he would be able to raise his Enlightenment Talent to Super God level, as well as elevate several other special talents to Super God level as well.

At that point, he could even aim to reach the peak of Pinnacle True Ancestor, and perhaps even aspire to the rank of Invincible True Ancestor.

Yet Ye Tian had refused to trade, which made him furious!

“True Ancestor of Ten Thousand Laws, the True Ancestors of Blackwind Mountain are most fearful of their identities being exposed. After all, Blackwind Mountain isn’t going to deploy a large number of True Ancestors to protect just one person like you. Unlike Blackwind Mountain, our sect forces are far more united. If you choose to go against us, you’re courting disaster!” True Ancestor Yellow Light threatened once again.

“If you don’t leave, then don’t think about leaving at all!” Ye Tian summoned the power of his domain, gripping his Forbidden Spear.

Currently, he had tempered his Forbidden Body to twenty percent completion, making its power far more formidable than before. The Forbidden Spear he wielded now was thus even more terrifying.

Seeing Ye Tian’s Forbidden Spear and feeling the pressure emanating from the void around him, True Ancestor Yellow Light felt a sliver of fear.

After all, this was not his domain. If the Void Sky lineage joined forces to activate a formation, they might really be able to trap him here.

Alone, he couldn’t contend with an entire True Nation. Even an Invincible True Ancestor wouldn’t necessarily be able to face off against a True Nation. Sometimes, sheer numbers could indeed make up for a disparity in strength.

“Hmph!”

With a cold snort, True Ancestor Yellow Light turned and left.

Watching True Ancestor Yellow Light’s departure, Ye Tian’s face grew dark.

“If I possessed the strength of an Invincible True Ancestor, would any Pinnacle True Ancestor dare threaten me so casually?” Ye Tian thought to himself.

In the end, it was still a matter of strength.

For Lower and Middle Three Heavens forces, a Pinnacle True Ancestor was indeed a supreme figure capable of intimidating them, but it was difficult to awe Upper Three Heavens forces.

Each Upper Three Heavens faction had at least dozens of Pinnacle True Ancestors. Some factions had even more than Blackwind Mountain, numbering over a hundred, with some possessing several Invincible True Ancestors.

Thus, a Pinnacle True Ancestor like Ye Tian didn’t count for much in their eyes.

Upon returning to the Purple Mist Sect, True Ancestor Yellow Light did consider gathering other Pinnacle True Ancestors to deal with Ye Tian. However, the other True Ancestors weren’t keen on antagonizing Blackwind Mountain outright. After all, while Blackwind Mountain might not be unified, they had a reputation for retaliating—if you killed one of theirs, they might just come to rob you later.

Blackwind Mountain had done such things more than once or twice.

As such, they preferred not to provoke trouble. Plus, Ye Tian’s talent was exceptionally high, and he also commanded Dark Forbidden Power, ensuring he would be a significant figure in the future.

If they failed to kill him, it would spell trouble.

True Ancestor Yellow Light might have been foolish, but the other True Ancestors were not.

Thus, this matter temporarily came to an end.

In the following years, other True Ancestors also sent word through intermediaries, expressing interest in purchasing Realm Stones, but Ye Tian rejected them all.

Several decades passed in the blink of an eye.

Ye Tian used the Realm Stones in his possession within the Nine Limits Space to cultivate a group of extraordinarily gifted talents. Each one had Super God-level Enlightenment Talent, along with at least one special talent.

With sufficient talent and ample resources, their growth rate was naturally rapid.

Initially, these talents were at the levels of Divine General or Heavenly Monarch.

Now, nearly all of them had reached True Monarch level, with a few already at Half-Step True Ancestor.

At this rate, it wouldn’t be difficult for Ye Tian to eventually establish a True Ancestor legion under his command.

In fact, many Generals commanded True Ancestor legions, numbering in the thousands, even tens of thousands. General Bloodfiend’s True Ancestor legion was at least ten thousand strong.

Of course, that was in the past, before the Domain Realm shattered.

Now, with countless True Ancestors and legions perishing, Blackwind Mountain was far from its peak.

Nevertheless, as long as the Generals were willing, they could certainly cultivate new True Ancestor legions.

With such a force, minor matters could be left to the legion, allowing him to focus on his own cultivation in peace.

On this day—

During his closed-door cultivation, Ye Tian sensed a disturbance from an item on his body.

“What is that?”

Ye Tian searched within his internal universe and finally located the source.

“It’s that Cold Jade Coffin!” he murmured in surprise.
