Your Talent is Mine-Chapter 992: Small Domain
TL: Etude
“Damn it, four Dao Ancestor incarnations are chasing me!”
Ye Tian sensed the situation behind him, and his expression changed instantly.
He activated his origin divine ability, Void Shift. His speed was already extremely fast, faster than many True Ancestors. However, the Dao Ancestor incarnations had an unparalleled mastery of space and were adept at various speed-related origin divine abilities.
As a result, their speed was even faster than his.
Even the Dao Ancestor incarnations were astonished.
They were stunned by Ye Tian’s incredible speed—it was beyond belief.
In the chaos, True Monarchs often created spatial techniques, and speed-related origin abilities were not uncommon. However, if someone’s base speed was lacking, no amount of spatial manipulation or speed abilities would make them truly fast.
But Ye Tian’s speed exceeded all expectations. He was the fastest True Monarch they had ever encountered.
“Fortunately, the Dao Child of Ten Thousand Laws hasn’t broken through to the Half-Step True Ancestor realm. Otherwise, even our speed wouldn’t compare to his!” Dao Ancestor Earth Gate thought to himself.
At this moment, Ye Tian considered contacting his master, Dao Ancestor Void Sky, for help. But after some thought, he realized that even if Dao Ancestor Void Sky sent an incarnation into the battlefield ruins, it would still be too late to save him.
He could only rely on himself!
“Die!”
From a great distance, Dao Ancestor Earth Gate unleashed an earth-element origin divine ability.
A spear of earth, radiating boundless pressure, tore through the void and shot straight toward Ye Tian.
“Spacequake!”
“Blackwind Domain Technique!”
Ye Tian used the Spacequake origin divine ability to disturb the space around him, disrupting the trajectory of the earth spear. Then, he followed up with the Blackwind Domain Technique to bind the spear, successfully evading its lock and escaping the attack.
Even so, the spear caused devastating destruction in the area it struck.
Throughout the chase, the four Dao Ancestor incarnations relentlessly attacked Ye Tian. Occasionally, some of their attacks landed, but none dealt significant damage to him.
In terms of raw power, Ye Tian was not far behind the Dao Ancestor incarnations. However, his level of strength, understanding of the Dao, and his ability to apply it in combat were not as refined as theirs.
Because of this, Ye Tian was unable to shake off the pursuit. It was only a matter of time before he fell into an inescapable trap.
Time was running out. Ye Tian’s mind raced, trying to figure out how to escape.
If they hadn’t been Dao Ancestor incarnations, Ye Tian could have used the Great World Shift, a chaos divine ability, to teleport to another small world. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
The battlefield ruins contained multiple small worlds, though most of them were broken. Still, with the Great World Shift, he could have escaped.
However, the space within the battlefield ruins was far too stable. Using the Great World Shift required some time to cast, and that brief moment would be more than enough for the Dao Ancestor incarnations to catch him.
Moreover, their comprehension of space surpassed Ye Tian’s imagination. Even if he managed to cast the ability, they could forcibly break through his teleportation.
In this situation, the Great World Shift was no longer a viable option. Against Dao Ancestors, it was as good as useless.
Just as the four Dao Ancestor incarnations were closing in on him, a sudden idea struck Ye Tian—Blackwind Domain Technique!
“The Blackwind Domain Technique can help me escape this trap!” A spark of hope ignited in Ye Tian’s heart.
Earlier, when he had used the Blackwind Domain Technique, he had sensed several special spaces. These spaces were most likely unique domains opened by the Ten Kings of Blackwind Mountain.
Of course, these were not true domains, merely simulated worlds crafted to mimic real domains. They could be called small domains.
These small domains were extremely well-hidden, to the point that even Dao Ancestors couldn’t locate them. The only way to enter these small domains was through the Blackwind Domain Technique.
At the entry level of the Blackwind Domain Technique, only his consciousness could enter the small domains. However, if he cultivated the technique to the perfected realm, his true body could also enter these hidden domains.
Since Ye Tian had already cultivated the Blackwind Domain Technique to the perfected realm, he could bring his physical body into a small domain.
“If I escape into a small domain, not even the four Dao Ancestor incarnations—let alone their true bodies—would be able to locate or enter it!” Ye Tian thought.
In the past, he hadn’t fully understood the significance of small domains. But now he realized that the fact the Ten Kings could create such miraculous spaces meant their power far exceeded that of ordinary Dao Ancestors. Even his master, Dao Ancestor Void Sky, likely could not compare to a single Great King of Blackwind Mountain.
Without hesitation, Ye Tian used the Blackwind Domain Technique once more, carefully sensing a hidden connection in the void.
Soon, various small domains emerged within his perception.
However, most of these domains felt distant, with only faint connections to him. There was just one small domain closely linked to him, and it seemed to lie within the battlefield ruins.
Following this connection, Ye Tian wrapped himself in the Blackwind Domain Technique and attempted to enter the domain.
Boom!!!
His body was instantly enveloped by a mysterious force, vanishing without a trace. He traversed layers of space and arrived in an unfamiliar place.
“Where is he?”
The four Dao Ancestor incarnations appeared one by one, using their spiritual senses to scan for any spatial fluctuations in search of Ye Tian.
But no matter how much they searched, they couldn’t find any trace of him. It was as if some mysterious power had severed his presence completely.
“How is this possible? He’s just a True Monarch! How could he escape from us?” Dao Ancestor Earth Gate was in utter disbelief.
Even he, a Dao Ancestor, couldn’t slip away unnoticed from other Dao Ancestor incarnations. How had Ye Tian accomplished such a feat?
“It can’t be a wondrous object… Even if he used one to escape, there would still be some trace left behind. He wouldn’t just disappear without a sound. Could it be a treasure from a Domain Realm?” Dao Ancestor Earth Gate speculated.
He guessed that Ye Tian might have acquired some kind of treasure from a Domain Realm—an artifact so rare that even Dao Ancestors couldn’t track its user. If that were the case, it was the only reasonable explanation for how Ye Tian had escaped so cleanly.
This thought made them even more curious about Ye Tian.
But unfortunately, no matter how interested they were, there was nothing they could do now—Ye Tian was gone, beyond their reach.
…
Inside the small domain, Ye Tian scanned his surroundings with his spiritual sense and muttered to himself, “There’s no sign of any living beings here.”
The place resembled a miniature starry sky. Though its area wasn’t particularly vast—comparable to a solar system from before—it wasn’t even as large as some mid-tier worlds.
However, the spatial stability here was extraordinary. Even Ye Tian found it difficult to affect the space. If he attacked with full force, he couldn’t shatter a single star, only manage to destroy something as small as a hill.
“According to my sources, there should still be powerful beings alive within the battlefield ruins. Perhaps the Ten Kings of Blackwind Mountain are still alive!” Ye Tian speculated.
Although he hadn’t encountered any of the Ten Kings this time, discovering this small domain was already an excellent reward. At the very least, he now had a safe haven to retreat to.
If he ever found himself in danger again, he could instantly escape to this place.
“This has been a good haul. For now, I’ll stay here and go into seclusion for a while to improve my strength!” Ye Tian made up his mind.
