Chapter 614: Facing Sword Ocean
A flame flashed across and that centaur couldn’t move at all. He was about to shout out but his words were stuck in his throat. In the next second, I flew forwards and my daggers struck, triggering Attack Chasing and critical strikes. In just five seconds, the full health level 140 centaur fell to the ground and even in death he was unable to give a warning.
“Chi chi chi---”
The Flame Rat wanted to flee but I raised my hand and used Wooden Dummy to surround it. Vines wrapped around to trap this rat. I flew forwards and killed it in a few hits.
The forest calmed back down once more. When I killed the centaur, I actually gained 400 points. The flame rat also gave 200. This was a little too much, the efficiency was even higher than the Pioneer Cavalries! Seem like the system recognised the centaur tribe as the enemy of Xuanyuan Empire and Dragon Region which was why I was able to get points. This made it easier to understand.
I sucked in a deep breath. Since that was the case, I couldn’t waste the day. I searched for Sword Ocean while killing these centaur troops. The more I killed, the number of enemies I faced when the Sword Ocean appeared would be much fewer.

“Sha sha…”
I held my dagger and flew across the forest. Not far away, a 100+ centaur royal army squad galloped across the forest. The general had a solemn gaze and he ordered, “Look carefully, don’t allow anyone not from our race to appear in the valley, if not just kill them!”
“Yes sir!”
When they were preparing to continue forwards, I used Soul Star Explosion and used Dark Shadow Jump on the general. The centaurs around shouted “Enemy” before waving their axes, swords and spears at me!

I waved my dagger and used Flames of Karma+Hunter’s Edge. My body was covered in blue light when I used Ash Fortress. After tanking a bunch of their damage, my health was down to 74%, it was a totally acceptable range. I countered and started to fight back.
Far away, the centaurs around didn’t join in. They held their bows and started to fire arrows. My health started to drop much more quickly. This bunch was tougher than the Pioneer Cavaliers but fortunately, my stats were strong enough. As long as I continued to attack, my health would heal up.
Thus, when I killed 50+ of them, those around placed their arrows on their backs and charged over. They shouted, “For his majesty! For the honor of the centaur race!”
Unfortunately, they were just Legacy Grade monsters and they only ended up as experience and points for me.
Just like that, it took me 10 minutes to kill the 100+ of them, similar to what it took to kill 200 Pioneer Cavalries. The experience was slightly lesser which proved that the Pioneer Cavalries were truly the best.
Valen was probably in a tough state. He raised a bunch of minions that would end up as the points for the many Winter Sun City players.

“Enemy! Enemy!”
More centaurs shouted. On the right, another team dashed over. There were 500+ of them. Along with around 1000+ at the front. If they focused on me, the archers would fire once every 2-3 seconds. I would definitely get insta killed. There was no point to stay so I left!
White Cloak flashed and I disappeared from under their eyes. After running for three minutes, I started to attack centaur groups of around 140+ people. Apprehension and Wooden Dummy started to be used in the forest.
After clearing a bunch, I used White Cloak to hide from the centaur army. I then searched for another 200+ people group. I killed them one by one. At around 3pm, my points were top of the server with 1.85 million!
At the same time, I went from the east of the valley to the west. I still didn’t notice the legendary Sword Ocean. Instead, there was a whole bunch of people behind me. Numerous Royal Army troops held their axes, spears and looked at where I went to. They hollered in rage---
“That Dragon Region brat, I will rip his body to pieces!”
“July Wildfire you won’t be able to leave. No matter who you are, you won’t be able to handle the wrath of the centaur race!”
“Damn, if I catch that brat, I will use my hooves and smash his head. Like how we squashed the watermelons of the Beihuang Province!”
“Charge, kill him. If not, if her highness meets him, all our heads will get sliced off!”

Hearing them curse, I felt much better. The reason why this quest was evaluated as SSS Grade was because of these centaur troops. To get the Sword Ocean, one has to pass them. Now that I had stirred up the waters in Blazing Dawn Valley, I could probably make the entire area muddy.
Thus, I led the centaur troops around and nearly passed the entire map three times but I still didn’t find the Sword Ocean. The mark on my head didn’t resonate at all. As for her highness, I didn’t even bump into her. But thinking about how they looked, she probably burnt one's eyes so it was better not to think about it.
Just like that, we continued until 8pm. I got points while searching for the sword ocean. Finally, at 8pm, the mark suddenly resonated. Right ahead. A golden light descended into the forest that caused my Darkness Spiritual Ruin to shake. Right, the sword path power, it was definitely the Sword Ocean!
“Finally found it!”
I laughed and activated quickness to charge over. After three minutes, I raised my head and saw a golden ocean floating in the sky. It was like a floating gold cloud. In the clouds, sword energy surged. Sword Ocean was a pure energy body condensed from sword energy. Around, an intense energy fluctuation swept around it.
It was there!
I sucked in a deep breath and charged forwards onto a hill. The moment I charged up, I was just ten meters from the cloud ocean and could even sense its sharpness.
How to take it down? This was a problem.
Test it first!
“Peng”, a golden lightning descended from above and wrapped around my body. I turned into Darkness Shura and just charged toward the Sword Ocean. The moment it appeared, the centaurs charged over from all directions. I had to strike first if not I wouldn’t have a chance.

The moment I jumped close, the Sword Ocean gave out a ring that was a sort of warning. A golden sword formed in it and slashed at me.
Light Shield Wall!
A golden shield appeared ahead and I ate the Sword Ocean’s attack. With a loud explosion, I flew out like a bullet and smashed onto the ground. I lost around 20% health. Fortunately, Light Shield Wall’s defensive effect was good if not that strike might have insta killed me!
I drank a health potion, again!
I jumped up and attacked right away. I used Apprehension+Muddy Waters. The dagger on my right disappeared and what replaced it was a dragon energy-wrapped fist. A loud explosion and Dragon Will pierced through the sword ocean. I heard clanging sounds of swords hitting one another.
“Pu pu pu!”
After being attacked, the Sword Ocean fought back. The golden sword lights descended. It was really fast and I couldn’t dodge it at all!
“Bring it on!”
I placed my daggers in front of my chest to block that wave. Three sounds and the daggers nearly slipped out of my hands. I flew out once more and hit a huge tree. The impact caused leaves to fall off and I lost another 30% health.
“Weng weng weng---”
Sword Intent continued to flow and it looked really unfriendly. After getting hit by Dragon Will, a golden durability meter appeared above of the sword ocean. It was left with 72%. Dragon Will and Apprehension dealt a huge amount of damage. Would destroying the durability mean taming the Sword Ocean?
Definitely. After all it was a game, if not it wouldn’t be explainable!
In the next second, numerous rings spread from the sky. The Sword Ocean shook as many golden swords shot down from above. So vicious, it wanted to insta kill me.
I had to block it or I would be finished!
