Return to the City: The Strongest King
Chapter 2040 - 1915: Unique Uses_5
"Oh, it's Director Lin. What can I do for you?"
"Director Zhang, I have a favor to ask of you!"
"What do you need? Just tell me! I've heard about the medical disturbance you were involved in. I'll help however I can!"
"Alright, then I won't be polite. I'd like to borrow some people from you."
"Huh? Who do you want to borrow?"
"I'm hoping to borrow your security team."
"Oh... I see, that's no problem at all!"
Lin Su'er made a few more calls to nearby hospitals.
The next morning, Song Xiaodong drove Lin Su'er to work. One after another, several cars arrived, and the security teams from several nearby hospitals showed up, dressed in various security outfits, neatly lining up in the hospital courtyard.
Song Xiaodong gave the group a battle plan: "Split into three teams, ambush from the sides and the back door, and try to keep the fight outside the hospital building. Stand on this empty space."
"You're all security personnel, so handle it with care. Refrain from using sharp objects, and if you see any, don't try to be a hero. Immediately alert others. The goal is to protect the hospital, not to fight!"
"Go, hide yourselves, and await my instructions!"
The group dispersed. Lin Su'er managed to inform five hospitals in all. The security teams totaled two hundred people, roughly the same number that Dragon Three mentioned about the small gang last night.
However, Song Xiaodong also brought two hundred family guards with him, hiding just outside the hospital's main entrance, ready to trap the troublemakers once they appeared.
Song Xiaodong and Lin Su'er hid in the car, holding a walkie-talkie, waiting for the professional troublemakers to arrive.
A little after ten in the morning, Brother Gao, who showed up last night with his arm in a sling, led a group of vagrants. They marched imposingly down the sidewalk beside the hospital road. Without waiting for security to open the gate, they started kicking the barrier violently, breaking it into pieces and barged into the hospital yard. Ten security guards rushed out of the hospital lobby with sticks in their hands, shouting at Brother Gao's group: "You're not allowed in! You got hauled away by the police yesterday, and now you dare to come back?"
"The police? Did you see what they did to me?" Brother Gao smirked at the guards, tilting his head.
"I'm telling you, today's the deadline. If you don't compensate, we're turning this hospital upside down!"
"Our director said we could apologize to the patient, but you won't get a penny!" one of the guards told Brother Gao.
"Fine! Smash it up for me!"
"Go!" Brother Gao's crowd started shouting, bolstering each other's courage and preparing to rush in.
Suddenly, shouts erupted from inside the hospital building, and a group of workers in various styles and colors of uniforms poured out, clashing with Brother Gao's group.
"Oh, so you got some backup, huh?" Brother Gao said viciously, eyeing the security guards. He shouted, "They came prepared, but don't be scared. Hit them if you have to, smash things if you must. There's extra pay today!"
Brother Gao saw clearly that there were only a few dozen people in the hospital lobby, while he had two hundred behind him. He wasn't afraid; these people couldn't hold out for long.
As he watched them slowly begin to falter and retreat into the lobby, Brother Gao got more excited, shouting, "Quick, finish them off and go smash things inside!"
Just as Brother Gao finished speaking, shouts erupted again from both sides of the hospital building. Looking up, he saw security teams advancing from both sides amidst the shouts.
Brother Gao's legal team had advised him not to bring weapons to the hospital, so although he had a large group, they were all bare-handed. The security teams only carried short sticks, so no one would cause serious harm, and the fighting wouldn't be too dangerous.
"Both sides, both sides!" Brother Gao commanded. His group immediately moved to meet the incoming security teams.
Continuing to assess the situation, Brother Gao saw that the numbers on both sides were similar and shouted, "Brothers, don't be afraid. They don't outnumber us. It's all a matter of who's tougher. Hit them, go for their eyes!"
As Brother Gao finished shouting, Song Xiaodong called Su Xiaoliu from the car, "Quick, block the main entrance!"
The Su family guards swiftly emerged from the side alley of the hospital, dressed in sharp suits and black shoes, silently surrounding the hospital's main entrance.
"Get them!" At Su Xiaoliu's command, the Su family guards, each one formidable, easily overpowered the small gang.
"Boss, there are people at the back too; we've been ambushed!"
"What?" Brother Gao turned around to see a squad of black-clad enforcers pouring towards him like a tide from the hospital's main entrance.
"Retreat quickly! We're surrounded!" Brother Gao intended to dash towards the Su family guards to break out since the hospital's main entrance was close.
"You're really asking for it!" Su Xiaoliu personally fought, turning the small gang members trying to flee back towards the hospital's main entrance. They didn't aim to cause serious injuries, using joint lock techniques to leave many of them either with broken bones or dislocated joints, sprawling on the ground.
"Go left!" Experienced in fighting, Brother Gao noticed that the main entrance was blocked and the hospital building was well-defended. The only relatively safe passage was on the sides, so he directed those not yet down to run left. Su Xiaoliu chased relentlessly. The left-sided security guards couldn't hold them, so they let them pass, with the Su family guards closely following.
"You block the back door!" Song Xiaodong instructed the borrowed security teams over the walkie-talkie.
