Chapter 130: Chapter 129 : Eliazabeth and the Sun

A private jet soared high in the sky, cutting smoothly through the clouds. Its sleek white body gleamed under the sunlight, engines humming steadily. Its destination was Celestias Academy.

Inside the plane, Arthur was sitting on the window seat, his elbow propped against the armrest, chin resting on his hand. He stared out at the endless expanse of blue sky and white clouds drifting lazily below, bored out of his mind.

On the seat in front of him sat Isabella, who was reading a fashion magazine with a satisfied smile on her face. On the front cover was her photo—posed elegantly in a flowing white dress, her platinum-blond hair cascading over her shoulders, radiant and confident.

Suddenly, Arthur glanced toward her, then at the cover with her photo, and said, "I didn’t know you were a model too."

Isabella smiled proudly, flipping a page.

"Of course I am. Now you know how lucky you are to sit next to someone as amazing as me," she said.

Arthur smirked.

"Only people who are attention seekers do all that stuff. I got offered many times in the past, but I declined them all," he said casually.

Isabella’s face twitched slightly.

"So you’re saying I’m an attention seeker?" she said, her voice sharp.

Arthur grinned wider.

"Now we’re getting somewhere," he said.

Isabella threw the magazine at him.

THWAP!

Arthur laughed it off, catching it easily and tossing it back onto her lap.

"Haha! Careful, you’ll damage your precious face on the cover," he said.

Isabella glared at him but didn’t respond.

After a moment of silence, she suddenly asked, "Where is Miss Yuna? Why didn’t she come with us?"

Arthur leaned back in his seat.

"Well, she had some work to take care of, but she said she’ll be there in time to see us in action," he said.

Isabella nodded her head thoughtfully.

Suddenly, a soft, trembling voice came from behind.

"Young Master, coffee is ready."

Both their attention turned toward the voice.

A red-haired girl in a maid outfit stood there, holding a silver tray with both hands. On it sat a cup of coffee, steam rising from it in delicate curls.

It was Elizabeth.

She looked gorgeous even in that maid outfit. The black and white uniform fit her perfectly, hugging her curves in all the right places. Her crimson hair was tied neatly into a low ponytail, and her red eyes gleamed with barely suppressed fury beneath long lashes.

Her whole body was shaking slightly—not from fear, but from sheer, seething rage. It was as if she were holding herself back with every ounce of willpower she had left.

A smile of resentment was fixed upon her face, strained and unnatural.

It seemed like she could jump at Arthur at any moment to murder him.

Arthur immediately took the coffee cup from the tray as she handed it over with that same strained smile.

He brought it to his lips and took a gulp.

Then he paused.

He looked at her.

"It’s gone cold. You took too long to bring it here," he said flatly.

Isabella’s mouth twitched as she glanced at the cup. Steam was still clearly rising from it—it was obviously hot.

Arthur set the cup back on the tray.

"Make it again. And try to bring it in two seconds after making it this time," he said.

Elizabeth started shaking even harder now. The tray in her hand practically seemed like it was vibrating.

Cold killing intent seemed to be oozing out of her body like smoke. Her red eyes flared dangerously, as if she could snap at any moment and tear him apart.

Arthur smiled innocently.

"Do you want to say something, Eliza?" he said.

Elizabeth took a deep breath and put on another strained smile, her jaw clenched so hard it looked painful.

"No, Young Master. I’ll make it again... as you want," she said through gritted teeth.

She turned sharply on her heel and left toward the back of the plane, glaring daggers at Arthur the entire time until she disappeared behind the curtain.

Suddenly, Isabella snapped.

"Why are you bullying that cute and innocent maid?!" she said loudly.

Arthur looked toward where Elizabeth had just disappeared and said, "Cute and innocent? Her?"

He burst out laughing.

"Hahaha! You’ve got to be kidding me!"

Isabella frowned deeply.

"Alright, now tell me what’s with that maid. I’ve noticed it before too, but it seems like you’re forcefully making her serve you... and torturing her on top of that," she said seriously.

Arthur waved his hand dismissively.

"What are you talking about? She was happy to serve me. Didn’t you see her shaking in excitement?" he said with a completely straight face.

Isabella narrowed her eyes. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"More like she wanted to murder you," she said. "You’re hiding something from me, aren’t you?"

Arthur smirked.

"You’re just imagining things," he said.

Isabella was about to retort—

But Arthur suddenly said, looking toward the window with wide eyes, "Looks like we’ve arrived."

Outside the window, in the vast expanse of sky, an enormous island floated majestically above the clouds.

It was breathtaking.

The island was massive—easily the size of a small city—suspended impossibly in the air, defying all laws of nature. Waterfalls cascaded down its edges, disappearing into the clouds below in streams of mist.

A massive protection barrier surrounded the entire island, shimmering faintly like a dome made of pure light. The barrier pulsed rhythmically with mana, glowing in soft blues and greens, flickering like the surface of water under sunlight. Intricate runic symbols glowed along its surface, ancient and powerful.

Even from the plane, they could see massive buildings and structures sprawling across the island—towers that pierced the sky like spears, sprawling courtyards lined with trees, enormous arenas carved from stone and training halls that looked like fortresses built for war.

Many other ships and planes hovered all around it, circling like birds waiting for permission to land. Some were sleek and modern, others looked like flying boats from another era, powered by mana.

Arthur stared out the window, his eyes wide.

"So this is Celestias Academy," he said quietly.

Isabella leaned forward, her face practically pressed against the window, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Pretty amazing, isn’t it?" she said.

Arthur nodded slowly.

"It is," he said.

All the private planes first asked for permission before being allowed entry.

A voice crackled over the intercom in the cockpit.

"Celestias Academy Air Control to unidentified private aircraft. State your identification and purpose."

The pilot responded calmly, transmitting their clearance codes.

After a moment, the voice came back.

"Permission granted. Proceed to Runway Seven."

After the pilot confirmed clearance with the academy personnel, Arthur and Isabella were also granted entry.

The plane descended slowly, approaching one of the massive runways built into the floating island. The runways were wide and lined with glowing lights that pulsed in sequence, guiding incoming aircraft.

WHIIIRR—

The landing gear extended with a mechanical hum.

THUD!

The plane finally touched down on the runway with a soft jolt, wheels screeching briefly against the pavement.

The engines powered down with a low rumble.

HISSS—

The cabin door opened with a hiss of pressurized air.

The gates opened fully.

Arthur and Isabella finally stepped off, descending the metal staircase onto the tarmac.

The air was crisp and cool, filled with the scent of fresh grass and flowers. A gentle breeze swept across the runway.

Isabella stretched her arms above her head and took a deep breath, her face lighting up.

"Let’s go! I’m really excited to join. My brother is already a student here, and he just keeps bragging to me. I’m gonna get a higher rank then him at the enterance exam for sure!" she said in excitement.

Arthur smiled faintly.

"Yeah, you mentioned something about your brother being a student here before," he said.

He paused.

"Why don’t you go meet him first? I’ll come after a while," he said.

Isabella looked at him curiously.

"Are you sure?" she asked.

Arthur nodded.

"Yeah. I’m gonna wait for someone here," he said.

Isabella smiled warmly.

"Alright. I’ll call you and tell you where to find me," she said.

Arthur nodded his head.

Isabella waved and left in excitement after that, practically skipping toward the entrance gate.

Arthur watched her go until she disappeared into the crowd of people and staff moving at the entrance.

Then he looked up.

Elizabeth was still standing at the entrance of the plane, frozen in place like a statue.

The sun was high in the sky, blazing brightly overhead. Its golden rays illuminated everything below with harsh, unforgiving light.

Arthur looked nervous already. He was about to do something he didn’t want to do.

He said inside his mind, ’System, are you sure this will work?’

The reply came immediately.

[ It should. Your blood is now very special. After all, you are a Daywalker—a hybrid capable of walking in sunlight without harm. If you make her your kin too, I’m sure she will be able to walk in the sun as well. Vampires thrive on blood—their bodies absorb it like sustenance.

The stronger the blood, the more powerful they become. And Elizabeth was already a special vampire with the highest purity of ninety-five percent. I’m sure you will also be able to share that ability with her.]

On the other hand, Elizabeth didn’t want to come out either.

Even if the sunlight didn’t kill her outright because of her high heritage, the pain of getting burned by it was as good as hell for her. Her skin would blister and char, her body would scream in agony—every second would feel like an eternity.

She looked toward Arthur, who was standing outside on the runway, waiting for her.

A chill ran down her spine.

She thought, ’Does he want to torture me in the sunlight now? Is this his new game?’

She gritted her teeth hard enough that her jaw ached.

"Damn it," she muttered under her breath.

She had no choice. She prepared herself for the pain.

She started taking slow, trembling steps forward toward the exit.

Her body instinctively started shaking as she climbed down the strairs approached the threshold where sunlight poured through the open door.

She closed her eyes tightly and was about to step into it—

Suddenly, Arthur’s voice came sharply from outside.

"What the hell are you doing? Are you an idiot too? You’re gonna get roasted alive if you come out like this!"

Elizabeth immediately stopped mid-step, surprised by his tone.

In the next second, Arthur rushed forward, grabbed her hand firmly, and pulled her back inside the plane away from the light.

He looked at her seriously.

"I’ll give you the ability to walk in the sun," he said.

Elizabeth’s eyes turned wide in disbelief. Her mouth opened slightly in shock.

"You’re kidding, right? There is no possible way you can do that," she said, her voice trembling slightly with both hope and disbelief.

Arthur didn’t answer with words.

He just kept closing the distance with her, step by step.

She backed up instinctively until her back hit the wall with a soft thud.

Arthur was now in front of her—close, too close. She could feel his breath on her skin.

"Stay away from me," she said, her voice shaking now with something other than anger.

Arthur’s voice was low and firm.

"I’ll do what I want," he said.

In the next second, he grabbed her waist and pulled her toward him roughly.

His fangs extended with a sharp clicking sound.

He bit down on her neck without hesitation.

GASP!

Suddenly, Elizabeth felt a sharp sting of pain—but it soon melted away into something else entirely: ecstasy, warmth flooding through every nerve in her body like fire turned liquid gold.

Her eyes flared crimson red.

Pure instinct screamed at her to bite him back—to claim him.

But suddenly, her body almost froze in place. She couldn’t move. She couldn’t do anything but feel it—his fangs buried in her neck, his hand gripping her waist tightly.

Meanwhile, Arthur held her harder against him. Her chest was pressed firmly against his as he drank her blood. Her breathing became ragged and uneven, her body trembling violently from overwhelming sensation.

Just as it seemed he was about to lose himself completely—his grip tightening dangerously—the system’s voice came urgently inside his mind.

[ Host! Just a bit more! Hang on! Don’t get out of control! ]

Arthur’s eyes snapped open slightly as he fought for control over himself.

[ It’s done! ]

In the next second, glowing messages started appearing before his eyes.

[ DING ]

[ Blood Bond Established ]

[ Target: Elizabeth Crimson ]

[ Status: Second Kin Created ]

[ Bond Type: Master–Kin Link (Permanent) ]

[ Trait "Daywalker" has been shared with Elizabeth Crimson. ]

[ Elizabeth Crimson may now walk in sunlight without harm. ]

Just as Arthur saw those notifications flash before him, he immediately stopped drinking and pulled back sharply from Elizabeth’s neck.

He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand roughly, breathing hard himself now.

"Damn it... I almost lost myself again... That’s why I didn’t want to do it," he muttered under his breath harshly.

Elizabeth collapsed to her knees on the floor of the plane cabin, breathing heavily like she’d just run a marathon. Her entire body was still trembling uncontrollably from what had just happened—her heart pounding wildly in her chest as face had turned red.
