Fei Erya nodded resolutely and said, "Yes, I’ve already decided. I don’t want to keep living at home; I feel more at ease living at school." At that home, she always felt like she was the extra one.

Yiyi slightly furrowed her brow.

She remembered that Fei Erya hadn’t lived at school when she was in her third year of high school; it seemed some things had changed. However, she also supported the idea, "Since you’ve decided, then just live at school. It’s actually more convenient that way."

"Mm."

Seeing Yiyi agree with her decision, Fei Erya felt a little better, "Yiyi, thank you for supporting me."

"There’s nothing to thank for that. As long as you’re happy, that’s what matters. It’s hard enough to be human; why let yourself be wronged everywhere? That would be too unfair to yourself." Yiyi had long thought it through—no matter what, she couldn’t let herself be wronged; otherwise, it would waste her prime time.

Hearing Yiyi’s words, Fei Erya laughed.

"Yiyi, I suddenly feel that you’re a bit like my grandma, seeming to see everything clearly."

Upon hearing this, Yiyi raised an eyebrow and said, "Are you complimenting me?"

"Of course."

The two girls then exchanged laughter, their youthful faces brimming with vitality.

The first day of classes was relatively easy. Yiyi felt that by listening attentively, she could understand most of it, and she was very happy. Previously, she always had endless chores, leaving her with no energy for class during the day, so her studies naturally fell behind. Now she didn’t need to spend time on other things, and after spending so much time with her textbooks during the summer holiday, she found it truly useful.

Seeing Yiyi so joyful, Fei Erya couldn’t help but smile and asked, "Is going to class really that enjoyable?"

"Yes, very happy."

Yiyi sincerely said, and then quickly took out the textbook from the earlier language class, "Er Ya, there’s a part I don’t quite understand. Could you explain it to me?"

"Of course."

Seeing the part Yiyi had underlined, Fei Erya started to explain slowly.

Time always flies when you’re busy, and before Yiyi realized it, class was already over.

"Yiyi, are you going home for lunch or eating at school?"

Remembering her mother’s morning instructions, Yiyi answered directly, "I’m going home to eat."

"Oh..."

Fei Erya seemed a little disappointed; she had originally thought of having a meal with Yiyi.

"Er Ya, why don’t you come home with me for lunch? I’ve mentioned you to my mom many times before. She even said I should invite you over for a meal."

Hearing this, Fei Erya was slightly stunned but then quickly waved her hand and said, "No need; I’ll just eat at school."

"Er Ya, no need to feel embarrassed. We’re good friends, it’s only normal for you to come to my house for a meal. Besides, my mom really asked me to invite you; she made a lot of dishes today."

Seeing Yiyi so enthusiastic, Fei Erya eventually agreed.

When the two of them arrived, Ding Yuejun quickly invited them in and then looked at Fei Erya with a full face of curiosity, "You must be Er Ya. Yiyi always talks to me about you, saying her deskmate is a pretty girl with good grades. Seeing you today, you are indeed beautiful."

By her side, Mo Shan also smiled broadly at Fei Erya, "Yes, sister, you are really pretty."

Seeing Ding Yuejun and Mo Shan like this, Fei Erya couldn’t help but feel a bit embarrassed.

"Mom, you’re making Er Ya feel embarrassed."

Ding Yuejun saw that Fei Erya was indeed blushing and quickly stopped teasing, then invited the two to wash their hands and eat.

Er Ya looked at the large table full of dishes and finally believed that Yiyi hadn’t lied to her. Auntie really did make a lot of dishes, "Thank you, Auntie, for going through the trouble."

"No trouble, no trouble. You can come over every day to eat with Yiyi, so you have company."

Fei Erya naturally smiled and declined. Having it once in a while was okay, but saying it like that every day wouldn’t be reasonable.

"Alright, alright, I won’t say more. Hurry and eat. You’ll need energy for class."

Yiyi saw Er Ya was a bit reserved and busily picked food for her. In the end, they all had a cheerful lunch together.

"Er Ya, let’s rest for a bit before heading back to class."

Fei Erya naturally nodded with a smile.

The two took a short break before heading back to school. After school in the afternoon, Yiyi didn’t go home right away but first went to the storefront she had bought before.

"Yiyi, you’re here! This little courtyard looks really nice after cleaning up."

Seeing Yiyi come over, Mo Ping greeted her with a smile and then took her around for a look, "But I haven’t finished tidying up yet. It should be done in a couple of days."

Looking at the clean and neat courtyard, Yiyi nodded with a smile, "It really is very nice. You’ve worked hard."

"Not hard, not hard."

Mo Ping wouldn’t dare say it was hard. After all, this would be his place to live; cleaning it was his responsibility. Without Yiyi, he might have already been wandering the streets.

"You should continue tidying up these two days. Once everything’s set, we can open for business."

"Okay."

Mo Ping originally didn’t believe that a girl like Yiyi could run a business, but now he suddenly felt a bit more confident.

After chatting a bit more with Mo Ping, Yiyi went back. During the weekend, she returned to the courtyard, and seeing it completely renewed, she was more satisfied with Mo Ping. Though he appeared lazy at times, he was efficient when it came to work. She really wondered how he used to idle away his time.

"Tomorrow I’ll go get the herbs, and once I make them into medicine pills, we can start selling."

"Medicine pills?"

Mo Ping looked puzzled, "Wasn’t it previously mentioned that it was a whitening prescription, is it traditional medicine?"

"Yes, indeed they are medicine pills. If we sell them as liquid medicine, there’s no need for people to come to us; they could just go to a clinic to get them. I hadn’t thought of this before, but if we sell the raw herbs, others could quickly figure out the formula."

Hearing this, Mo Ping quickly nodded and said, "Right, you’re very thoughtful."

The next morning, Yiyi arrived bright and early, bringing with her many items related to making medicine, and of course, some herbs, though she hadn’t bought all of them from the same clinic, "Mo Ping, when you go to buy the herbs listed here, don’t get them all from one place. Spread it out a bit."

"Okay."

Mo Ping understood Yiyi’s concern, so he took the list and left immediately.

Yiyi, meanwhile, organized everything and set up a small medicine-making room in the courtyard.

Once Mo Ping returned, Yiyi began her work on making the medicine, "During this time, no matter what happens, don’t disturb me unless I come out on my own."

Mo Ping earnestly nodded and said, "Okay."
