The Unveiling of Secret Queen
Chapter 2034: Nathalie: Accompany Me Somewhere
Williansen Barness left.
Zed Moore very thoughtfully ordered a glass of water for the girl.
The café staff quickly brought over the lemon water with ice, and upon seeing Nathalie Quinlan’s appearance, couldn’t help but pause for a moment.
This girl is just too attractive!
At that moment, Nathalie Quinlan happened to glance casually in her direction, and the café waitress’s cheeks suddenly flushed. She hurriedly placed the drink down, whispered softly, and quickly walked away with the tray, avoiding any eye contact with Nathalie Quinlan.
"Ms. Quinlan, you are just too..." Zed Moore observed this scene and couldn’t help but express his admiration.
"Hm?" Nathalie held the drink but didn’t take a sip as the weather was cold. She lazily looked in his direction upon hearing his voice.
Clearly not understanding his point.
Zed Moore was left speechless.
He initially wanted to say Nathalie was too attractive, but being emotionally intelligent, much more so than Vincent Moore, he knew how to be diplomatic and realized this statement might be ambiguous. Fearing Nathalie might misunderstand, he wisely swallowed the comment back.
"No, nothing, I was just speaking offhand." Compared to Vincent Moore, Zed Moore has a more refined and approachable demeanor.
He himself dressed in suit and leather shoes, but unlike Vincent Moore’s unconcealed bloody underworld aura, Zed Moore resembled more of an elegant businessman.
His mannerisms and speech suggested a person of sophistication.
Nathalie Quinlan wasn’t very familiar with him and didn’t pay too much attention to what he was about to say.
Her Apricot Eyes slightly lowered, with her fair fingers tapping on the drink glass, she suddenly raised her head and said to him, "Mind accompanying me somewhere later?"
"Uh?" Zed Moore visibly paused, looked at her, and respectfully asked, "Ms. Quinlan, where do you want to go?"
Nathalie took a sip of her drink, placed the glass back, then picked up her single shoulder bag, slung it over her shoulder, and calmly mentioned a place.
"Kingsleys Family."
*
The Kingsleys Family’s old estate is nestled halfway up the mountain and is a place rich in Gothic Style.
The estate’s architecture is imposing, with an extensive area that nearly encases the entire hillside behind it.
The exterior seems predominantly European Gothic Style, yet inside it’s a world of its own.
Throughout the estate, you can see Chinese style landscape architecture with small bridges and flowing water. The garden’s long wooden corridors extend through the garden, leading directly to the old mansion’s living room.
James Lawrence was the first to know Nathalie Quinlan arrived at the old estate.
"Who did you say was visiting?" He couldn’t believe it, staring wide-eyed at the underling who reported.
At first, he thought he’d misheard.
"Did you say..."
He nearly misspoke but quickly corrected himself, "Did you say Ms. Quinlan is visiting?"
James Lawrence was truly baffled by Nathalie’s actions, previously inviting her to come but she never did.
Why has she now come unexpectedly?
"Yes, she came with people from Yandor Sect, saying she’s here to retrieve an item."
Being Lynn Kingsley’s right-hand man, James Lawrence was calm and composed, quickly instructing the underling to lead them to the living room.
He himself rushed to find Lynn Kingsley.
*
Half an hour later.
Nathalie Quinlan and Zed Moore were already seated in the Kingsleys Family’s living room, where the family’s Servant keenly prepared two cups of Tea and served them.
Zed Moore noticed the girl acted as though she were at home, calmly picking up the tea cup, lowered her gaze, and leisurely took a sip.
