"See? Her asking to sleep with him was just a whim. It doesn’t mean you’re special to her in any way. She could drop you for someone else at a moment’s notice. Today it’s Ming Ye, tomorrow it could be anyone."

Jun Yao shot him a cold glance, his thin lips pressed together. He said nothing, his incomparably handsome face devoid of any emotion.

Jiang Yunnuan, however, couldn’t be bothered to bicker with him. She ignored his attempts to sow discord, too focused to pay the others any mind.
