"This is heavenly.."

"Mom, my fever from early this morning is gone!"

"God, when did I start moving this fast?"

"Mommy, look at that beautiful houses."

"This feels like a dream. All these developments, in one day, impossible."

"I feel so different, like I am no longer a human."

The voices of his people were heard, their wonder evident in every tone.

The pillar of light had vanished a few minutes ago.

The changes it had brought to his territory were massive and unbelievable.

Even Floki could not fully believe what stood before him, despite being the catalyst of the changes.

The people were now looking at him, realizing that he was the one who had brought these changes, not some divine beings.

Floki gazed back at them and smiled deliberately.

To be honest, he was short of words to say to his people.

Still, he quickly put together a speech on the spot and addressed them.

They were mostly motivational, words meant to rekindle their resolve and strengthen their determination to do more.

His speech ended, and the people began to chant his name once more.

"Hail The White Tempest of Ironside!"

"Hail The White Tempest of Ironside!"

Their voices rose loudly, and the emotions drifting in the air caused a few of the citizens of Ironside Town to burst into tears.

Floki felt his eyes sting as well, he could not deny it. Today made it exactly a week since he had arrived in this world, and he had already made major progress in his hell-level mission.

{A/N: It should be six days, but it’s midnight, thus a new day, so seven, also Floki transmigrated to this world at midnight for those trying to calculate.}

Floki clenched his fist. Though this development seemed very fast, he knew it would progressively become more difficult to upgrade his territory, thus requiring more time, which might end in him failing the mission if he was not lucky enough.

Thus, he swore here and now.

He gave himself a short time, ten days, to reach C-rank, city.

With that thought settled in his mind, he dismissed his people, and soon he was standing at the Town Hall with the two brothers and Cale.

The three of them looked at him with reverence.

"I am sorry for ever doubting your abilities." Cale bowed and sincerely apologized, recalling all the curses he had thrown at Floki back in Blackstone.

Floki nodded softly.

"You deserved to feel that way. After all, I left you in that man’s clutches for far too long. That aside, it is good to have another gallant warrior in Ironside."

Cale smiled proudly at his praise.

Floki looked at the three of them.

"You three have contributed a lot to this land one way or another. Anton and Jabba have been with me from the start. They helped me during my first hunt, contributed to keeping the people calm in my absence, and played a major role in the defeat of Kellan. Cale, you have the spirit of a leader. Being able to lead an escape is by no means a small feat."

"As a result of your contributions, I have decided to bestow ranks upon you and ask that you work hard with me."

The three of them stood attentively.

And Floki gave the rank titles.

Jabba was the oldest, had more experience, was respected by most people, and was second strongest after him.

He naturally got the title of Captain of the Guard, as he would assist Floki in overseeing all the forces in Ironside.

Anton was the second strongest and a great contributor, making him fit for the Deputy Captain.

Cale was also made a Deputy Captain. Though his authority would be slightly lower than Anton due to the gap in their power levels, Floki planned to fix that soon with Quest Provider.

The three of them knelt on the ground and kowtowed.

"My Lord... we will not fail you." Jabba spoke first, his voice firm and steady, carrying the weight of his experience.

Anton clenched his fist tightly against the ground, his eyes burning with determination. "I will become stronger. Strong enough to stand at the front and never let danger reach this town again."

"I may be the weakest among us now, but I swear, I will not remain so. I will prove myself worthy of this position you have given me," added Cale, his resolve strong.

Floki looked at the three of them, his gaze calm yet sharp, and spoke to them for a few more seconds before dismissing them.

Once they left, he decided to check out the Town Hall, which was a few meters away.

Floki walked toward it, his gaze steady as it fell on the structure standing firmly at the center of Ironside.

The Town Hall was neither overly grand nor plain. It carried a quiet weight that made it stand out naturally.

Built from clean-cut stone and reinforced wood, every part of it looked solid and well placed, as if it had been crafted with careful intention rather than rushed into existence.

A short flight of smooth steps led up to the entrance where two large wooden doors stood. Faint carvings ran across their surface, subtle lines that looked ordinary at first glance, yet gave off a quiet pressure the closer he got.

Floki slowed his steps slightly, and the moment he reached the top, the doors opened on their own.

He paused for a brief second before stepping inside.

The interior was wide and properly arranged. A long table rested at the center, surrounded by neatly placed chairs, while a raised platform stood at the far end facing the hall. The entire place felt structured, with not a single part out of place.

His gaze shifted forward.

Behind the platform, faint lines began to form on the wall, slowly shaping into a clear outline of Ironside. Roads, buildings, and boundaries revealed themselves in a dim glow, as if the town itself was being displayed for him to oversee.

"This... Is great!"

There were no unnecessary decorations, yet the hall did not feel empty.

He strolled across the interior of the Town Hall before exiting.

He went to the marketplace.

The marketplace was big, the field it stood on was half the former size of Ironside.

Yet it was scanty, with only a dozen trading tables scattered across it.

There was a very large space in the middle, which was natural for a marketplace.

It was clear to Floki that he had to raise carpenters, obtain wood, and build his marketplace. The system had only given him the basic setup, which was still very helpful.

As he stared at the currently vacant marketplace, he imagined a future where hundreds of people, mostly foreigners, would come to patronize them, and he smiled.

After taking some time to observe the place, he strolled back to his residence.

There were dozens of new huts now in his territory. These huts were taken by the new citizens of Ironside and were spaced properly across the land.

The new huts made the place feel very different from before.

It should have been difficult to understand the terrain of his territory after the expansion. Yet, he was still able to locate his home with the help of Pathfinder, or perhaps the system had also embedded knowledge of the new terrain into the minds of everyone, allowing them to find their way back home with ease.

When he arrived at his home, he was shocked to see the new structure standing there.

It stood out clearly among the nearby huts.

The manor was built from smooth wood and firm stone. It was not too large, yet it carried a quiet presence that made it feel different from everything around it. A short stone path led to the entrance, and on both sides of it were patches of greenery that gave it a splendid view.

Floki was already overjoyed. A new space, different from his former hut, it would change a lot of things.

He rushed forward and opened the door, and the moment he entered, he paused.

The interior was calm and well arranged.

A modest hall greeted him, with a clean wooden floor and a simple table placed at the center. Chairs were set neatly around it, each one aligned properly.

He walked further inside and reached the built-in study.

A wide desk stood there, enough to hold maps and plans. It would make his quest writing much easier.

There were also shelves lining the wall, empty for now but ready to be filled over time.

Floki moved deeper inside and reached his bedroom.

A large bed rested at the center, covered with clean sheets. A small table stood beside it, and a wooden wardrobe was placed neatly against the wall.

Floki’s smile blossomed as he strode closer to the bed and fell atop it.

For the first time in a week, he felt the softness and comfort of a proper bed. It did not beat the mattress on earth, but it was far better than lying on mats over rough ground.
