The room fell silent, no one moved or blinked, everyone was still. The only movement that was made was from above and which had already stopped.

The silence grew stronger, everyone having their gaze fixed at a certain two people.

Nyra was hugging Aegon, as they just stood being watched by the others like a drama about to begin.

Sheila, who was supposed to be crying, had already stopped

Now, she had her eyes also on Aegon and Nyra, her lips curved into a smile, while using her hand to clean her eyes.

At the same time, the words flew into Aegon’s ear.

"Thank you. I am glad that you came."

The words left Nyra’s lips into Aegon’s ears while she was still hugging him, slight tears dropping from her eyes.

Tear of Joy.

"My pleasure..." Aegon pulled her away.

"Oh sorry." Seeing all the eyes that were on them she instantly composed herself, and cleaned her eyes.

Nyra looked at those who were looking at her, all gazes directed only to her and not both of them anymore.

Puzzled, she looked at Sheila, who was smiling, then to some other faces she recognized, and some she didn’t.

Then, she turned back to Aegon, who gave her a straight expression.

It was as if everyone was waiting for her to do or say something, and just then she remembered.

"Oh right! The others," her voice hoarse, almost very low. "Follow me..."

Aegon didn’t move, instead uttered; "Go and find the rest and release them. Also if you find Chrome..."

At the mention of Chrome, Nyra and Sheila’s eyes both widened. They wanted to speak but Aegon stopped them with his hands, and said.

"If you find him, take him along and get out of this place. It’s not safe and wouldn’t be in the coming moments."

Saying this, Aegon walked past all of them and was about to go up through where he had come from, when Nyra’s voice spoke out.

"Where are you going?"

Aegon halted and stared at her, expressionless; "I have unfinished business with the old man, and also the boss of this place."

After saying this, he went through where he had come from, leaving their sight.

Nyra was surprised when she heard the ’old man’ and knew he was referring to the administrator.

The one who had put them in this place and was taking them one after the other.

But, now that she knew Aegon was going for him, there was a calmness in her heart that felt as though everything was going to be alright.

It had also come to her mind of how he got here, able to locate them, and even save them?

However, she immediately dismissed the thought since that didn’t matter at the moment.

Perhaps one day if they are able to get out of here she would ask him, but for now she needed to focus on the matter at hand.

Nyra looked at everyone who were also looking at her. There were no words spoken out of any of them.

In fact, out of the almost twenty people here, only Nyra and Sheila had spoken, and all of them were female.

Looking at Sheila, then at the others, Nyra said;

"Shall we go and take back what is ours and rescue the other?"

There was silence after the words were spoken, nobody giving any response.

Seeing this, Nyra tried to lift their spirits even more by saying;

"Who’s with me?..."

However, some of the supposed awakeners started to turn around, those who were still inside the cage showed no attempt to come out.

And even some who had somewhat come outside began to enter the cage back where they came out from.

The wide space of the bars Aegon had expanded, enough for three people to move through.

Seeing this, Sheila went and stood beside Nyra as her only support. The one who was with her.

Nyra looked at Sheila and let out a small smile, yet it wasn’t enough.

’What is wrong with these people, I can’t do this alone. We need all the strength that we can get."

The awakeners were still entering the cage back, their spirits already broken, and as the last was about to enter Nyra dragged the lady by the arm.

"Don’t go, let’s fight together. We can save the others after we get our weapons back."

The thing is, after they had been captured, they were forced to change clothes and drop all the weapons and items they were carrying.

Those that refused were killed on the spot because these were done by monsters and the administrator wasn’t there when it was happening.

He had given the monsters the authority they needed to dominate the awakened humans.

After they had removed their clothes they wore and replaced them with a plain and light up and down, also taking away their weapons,

They were separated into two. Males on one side and females on the other. Therefore, where Nyra was currently was that of where the females were placed.

And so, she wanted them to go, find, and release the males that had been trapped in another part of the castle or even closer.

The lady in which Nyra held her hand suddenly violently removed her hand from Nyra’s grip, saying.

"And how would we do that, huh? We don’t have our talents. Since coming here our mana has been draining from our body and we can’t even use a simple mana manipulation."

After saying this, she entered the cage and sat down on the ground, crossed legs and hands folded.

It was good to take in account that the mana draining system was still very much active, and working.

Although it had no effect on Aegon any longer after he had gotten mana from Aranyani, it didn’t mean the others were exempted.

’Tch, Cowards."

Nyra bit her tongue saying this.

In this room they were in, there was a straight way down that led to another place which wasn’t where Aegon had followed.

Nyra knew this place because it was where the short old man had always come and gone from, while the one Aegon used was where the monsters came and went from.

Nyra had a tough and determined expression on her face after the words left her lips, walking towards this other way, and Sheila following behind her.

The others watched as they left and looking amongst themselves their lips curved up into a smile as if they had just watched something interesting.

After a couple minutes had passed since Nyra and Sheila left, they all came out and also followed suit to where they had entered.

They first acted as if they didn’t want to go, but after Nyra and Sheila had left, they came out of the cage and followed behind them.

While they were going, a lady whispered to another who was beside her, they were the ones at the front.

"She is waiting for us right?" The lady who asked the question spoke to the same lady that Nyra had grabbed and spoken to earlier.

"Sheesh, you’d let them hear you." The lady responded, her eyes giving a sign to stay put since someone could be listening.

They had to make believe that their hearts were divided and not one.

They had already played whosoever was listening, for a fool.
