Without wasting time, he communicated with her through voice transmission. His message was short but clear, conveying exactly what he needed.

Anastasia nodded and, without interrupting her ongoing efforts to protect and guide the citizens, she raised her hand and summoned a jade token.

The token appeared in her palm instantly, its surface smooth and engraved with intricate designs.

She handed the token to William without looking away from her task.

Her focus remained on maintaining control over the situation, ensuring that the remaining citizens were safe and were able to evacuate without harm.

William took the token and immediately infused it with his mana.

The moment his energy entered the token, it reacted.

The token rose into the air on its own, floating steadily in front of him. The engravings on its surface began to glow. The shapes of a sword and a dragon became more visible as the light intensified.

Riverdale Empire...

Klaus, the Sword Saint, sat within the garden of his manor.

The garden was peaceful and well-maintained. Flowers of various colors bloomed across the area, and butterflies moved gently through the air. At the center of the garden stood a table made of white marble.

Klaus sat at that table.

Across from him sat a woman dressed in a noble gown. Her appearance was elegant, and her posture reflected refinement and grace.

Klaus looked at her with a steady gaze.

There was a sense of longing in his expression, as if he was deeply absorbed in her presence. For several moments, neither of them spoke. They simply looked at each other in silence.

Eventually, the lady could not hold back any longer. She let out a soft chuckle.

"Oh lord," Klaus said suddenly, releasing a long breath as if a weight had been lifted from him.

The woman’s smile faded slightly as she observed his reaction.

"What happened, Lord Klaus?" she asked. Klaus responded with a gentle smile.

"My lady, the way you smile leaves me questioning my fortune, whether I deserve the sight of this precious moment or not.

He came out smooth with confidence.

"Your eyes!! Yes, your eyes!! They are like stars in the night sky; they remind me of the peaceful nights in my youth. Before I became the Sword Saint, I would often look at the night stars during my adventures in distant lands. I would spend hours gazing at these stars, craving to feel their warmth, their soft touch."

Klaus said, mesmerizing Lady Adeline with his deep voice. She didn’t even realize when her hands had ended up in Klaus’s.

"Stars are mesmerizing. They keep their distance and leave you longing for them even more."

He spoke while closing the back of her hands towards himself with the intention to kiss them. Lady Adeline did not resist; she was too lost in those words.

"A night under the sky that holds these stars is what I crave, a night filled with their love, a night...."

Before he could finish his sentence, everything changed.

Lady Adeline suddenly felt a chill run down her spine.

Her body reacted instantly. She pulled back slightly, her expression changed to one of fear and confusion.

Klaus had disappeared without any warning.

Lady Adeline almost screamed out of fright. The back of her neck sweated, and she felt cold as she realized that Klaus had just disappeared out of the blue, and she had been too lost to realize it sooner.

The half scream did not go unnoticed as Brian arrived immediately and asked, "What happened, my lady??"

Adeline, with a frightened expression, pointed at the seat he had occupied. "Lord Klaus disappeared out of the blue!!"

Brian’s brows furrowed, and he realized something. He then looked at Adeline and spoke, "You need not worry, my lady. The Sword Saint was called for an emergency situation. I apologize on his behalf for the disruption in your trade with him. I hope he paid for all the purchases. If not, I will make sure once Lord Klaus returns, he sees to it."

Adeline laughed awkwardly and shook her head. "It’s alright, Brian. Once Lord Klaus returns, please tell your lord I would like him to visit Adeline Mansion and complete his due payments. I would like to have the pleasure of serving him tea this time."

Brian nodded and then escorted Lady Adeline out of the mansion.

Marquess Adeline boarded her carriage and left, while Brian looked at the departing carriage and sighed.

"At least she is not married," he said before turning around.

At the same time, within the colosseum of the Holy Sun, Klaus appeared.

The transition placed him directly in front of William.

However, the position in which he appeared created an awkward situation.

William had a disgusted expression on his face as he saw Klaus holding his hand so close to his lips and closing his eyes while saying.

"...a night of passion," Klaus murmured.

Before the moment could continue, a loud roar echoed across the battlefield. The sound came from the clash between Rah and Victor.

The force of the roar snapped Klaus back to awareness. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

He opened his eyes, and the first thing he saw was William’s expression.

William looked at him with clear disgust.

For a brief moment, neither of them spoke.

William thanked fate that everyone was busy with their own fights to notice this moment.

He pulled his hand back and wiped it against his robe, and then looked directly at Klaus.

He then spoke directly, "Let me be direct, we don’t have much time. You gave me a talisman to call for your help, if you still remember. I have used that to summon you."

Klaus did not take the time to understand that the conflict going on was serious. He sensed Andrea, the primarch, the pope, Sister Anastasia, Sister Tamasya, and two strong godlike beasts fighting in the sky.

William continued while pointing in a particular direction, "Please help me deal with the deacons of the church and other clergy. They are escaping from the right side of the pulvinar."

Klaus nodded instantly before disappearing. William instantly turned to focus on the battle between Elavnil and Samantha. He saw her using the blood flame, and just by looking at those flames, the stellar flames within him got excited.

At the same time, he considered another aspect of the situation.

The soul harvest formation required time. It needed a sufficient number of deaths to gather energy.

So far, only a limited number of significant individuals had died. The guards of Alister had been killed, but their souls were not enough to produce a meaningful effect.

William’s goal remained clear.

He intended to eliminate all three Primarchs present. Their souls would be used as sacrifices within the formation, ensuring that they could not be revived through any means. This was the best opportunity to remove them permanently.

He looked at Rah and saw him toying with the dragon. Rah was injuring the dragon physically, which the primarch was able to heal and regenerate instantly. He also used his echo, which led to 50% reflective damage.

However, something was missing. Rah was not using the variance energy to finish off Victor once and for all, after all, his regeneration would be.

William frowned.

Through voice transmission, he spoke.

"Why are you not using variance energy to finish him?"

Rah’s voice sounded back in his mind, "Only 3 primarchs came, the fourth one is not here, maybe he is hiding, waiting for the decisive moment to strike, or maybe he is plotting something, I need to be prepared. Also, what if that self-proclaimed light god Lux descends?? I will have to take you and run away."

William shook his head.

"Do not worry about Lux," he replied. "I have a plan for him."

He spoke with certainty.

"Don’t worry about Lux, I have someone to deal with him. Regarding the other primarch, just drop it. Even if he comes, you will be enough to deal with him, for now, finish this lizard and help Tamasya deal with Alister."

Rah responded simply.

"Understood."

William nodded.

William nodded and then looked at Sunchaser. Since his own mana realm had increased to Full Divinity, Sunchaser’s cultivation had increased as well. It was at Lesser Godhood. Since he was a flying spirit, William hoped to match the speed of Elavnil and Samantha, who was, for now, completely invisible.

So William created some distance from the battle and activated one of his talents.

’Spirit Transformation’

The change began instantly.

The clothing on his upper body tore apart as energy surged through him. Wings formed from his back, extending outward with strength. Feathers appeared along parts of his body, glowing faintly.

In an instant, the cloth on William’s torso tore off, and wings appeared, stretching out of his back. A radiant aura engulfed him as feathers appeared in some parts of his body.

Screeecchhh!!!!

He let out a piercing screech, alarming Elavnil. William’s size enlarged, almost matching that of Sunchaser’s original size.

William’s eyes narrowed, and stellar fire burned around him in anticipation. He knew what the stellar fire wanted to say.

It was hungry.
