The Queen smiled, "Alright, today’s feast is held in honor of Young Master Lorde. Once the rain stops, Young Master Lorde will depart. Young Master Lorde, I toast to you."

The Queen raised her glass and waved it toward Lorde.

Lorde had to offer this courtesy, so he raised his glass in response, "Thank you, Your Majesty."

The Queen smiled and drank it all in one go.

Lorde glanced at the quiet and silent girl sitting opposite him, drank his wine, and felt nothing but bitterness in his mouth.

Gan Wei’er rolled her eyes and, pretending to take out a tissue from her bag, hid the powder under her fingernail. She walked up to Lorde with a smile, holding her glass, "Young Master Lorde, I toast to you. You are the most manly man I’ve ever met."

Lorde didn’t say a word, merely waved his glass as a response and didn’t spare her a glance.

At the moment he raised his glass and was about to drink, Gan Wei’er suddenly covered his glass with her hand. A quick flash of hostility crossed Lorde’s eyes as he glanced coldly at Gan Wei’er.

Gan Wei’er shivered unexpectedly, and with a forced smile said, "Young Master Lorde, how could one glass be enough? Myself, Princess Your Highness, Duke Neo, it ought to be three glasses, right, Princess Your Highness?" After finishing, she glanced at Yun Ya.

Yun Ya smiled, "You want to toast yourself, don’t use my name as a pretext."

Gan Wei’er laughed, "Your Highness, don’t be shy. We’ve agreed on three glasses, not less."

Lorde glanced at Yun Ya and drank the first glass.

Gan Wei’er watched as the glass was emptied, a quick shadow passing through her eyes.

The Queen, always smiling, suddenly raised her hand to rub her temple and laughed, "Look at me, a little wine has worn me out. This is a place for you young people, I won’t be an eyesore here. Enjoy."

With that, she stood up and left, leaving everyone with an elegant figure.

Three glasses down, Lorde’s expression did not change at all, maintaining his usual aloofness. Gan Wei’er couldn’t help but secretly marvel at his incredible drinking ability, "Young Master Lorde is such a good drinker." She returned to her seat with her glass.

Neo smiled, holding his glass, thinking that Agunara was dead, Lorde was leaving, and he was left to reap the benefits.

Feeling good, he drank quite a lot, though lacking Neo’s drinking capacity, he soon flushed, yet his mind was exceptionally clear.

"Excuse me," Lorde stood up and walked away briskly, his steps not faltering at all.

Gan Wei’er smiled at Yun Ya, "Princess Your Highness, where did you live before?"

Yun Ya replied blandly, "Country Hua."

Ah, Country Hua, Gan Wei’er laughed, "I also lived in Country Hua as a child, but that place is so dirty and messy, full of scoundrels. It’s nothing like here."

Yun Ya glanced at her, "Country Hua has an ancient saying, one should never forget those who dig the well when drinking water. No matter how dirty or poor, it’s still the homeland that raised you. You can be dissatisfied with it, but you shouldn’t defile it."

The girl’s indifferent voice carried an undeniable chill.

Gan Wei’er’s heart was slightly shaken, momentarily at a loss for words, her cheeks burning with shame.

Secretly resentful, preaching to her here, who does she think she is?

Neo laughed, "The Princess makes a good point. Your mother worked hard to raise you. Even if she didn’t achieve much, she still endured hardships. It’s not right to turn around and speak ill of her."

These words were tantamount to mocking Gan Wei’er, causing her to clench her teeth in hatred, including Neo.

"I was narrow-minded." Gan Wei’er forced a smile, but Yun Ya had no intention of reconciliation, standing up and leaving without looking back.
