A Sorcerer’s Journey
Chapter 1077 - 1079: Intruders?
"This is a brand new unknown energy system, with scarcely any record in the Wizarding Civilization."
The more times Green was wounded by the weapons of powerful beings, the more he could feel that the biggest reason his Life Key research couldn’t break through the genetic information blockade rules set by the ancestor of humans was because of an unknown energy system within these weapons, akin to battle intent, rule systems, and an unspeakable energy akin to emotional power.
It represents the beginning of an era from beasts to social systems for a biological group, recorded in the deepest genetic domain of cells. It signifies a revolution of an era, the start of a stage. Although Green, as a new lifeform of reproduction and inheritance, had no experience of that era, his inherent cells passed down through generations imprinted it deeply in his instincts, occupying a small fragment of memory, becoming a subconscious instinct.
"Hiss..."
Accompanied by an unspeakable comfort amidst the pain, Green pulled the long fork out of his body. The blood stains on the wound were immediately mended by Green’s Metamorphosis Technique, restoring it to its original state.
"Green Beast, what level do you think the owner of this weapon was in life, and what was the world behind them like? The weapon contains considerable wisdom."
Xiao Ba stood in a corner of the laboratory, mumbling towards the tens of thousands of black metal needles scattered on the floor.
Green’s Three-Colored Light Eyes glanced at them; these black metal needles were sharp and had a hidden connection, vaguely forming an array, seemingly an unusual sword controlled by a cold-attribute energy.
Without a doubt, the craftsmanship contained within is far beyond some Sorcery Instruments even in the Wizard World.
The strength of Sorcery Instruments lies in the Wizard’s alchemical expertise and rune inscriptions, which, combined with the Wizard’s energy-manipulating power, assist in amplifying the Wizard’s abilities.
Yet, these metal needles, forming a long sword through unknown interconnections, function like domino magnification, communicating external energy through an array between each other.
"It should at least be a Level Six Creature. The world behind it must be quite powerful, and for the World Master of such a world to fall so easily, leaving the weapon in the Bone Demon World, the power of the Bone Demon World is likely far more terrifying than the outside rumors suggest."
Responding in a deep voice, Green took up a flying needle and pierced it into his skin.
.....
Unbeknownst to Green, five hundred years of potential rest and recovery have already passed four hundred years.
During the leisure period of Life Key research, he kept compiling and writing Grimm’s Fairytales, hoping one day to complete the Dimensional Gap Sealing Skill and uncover deeper secrets about the Dimensional Gap.
Xiao Ba once said that apart from the knowledge of the Dimensional Gap Sealing Skill, Antonio also left something at the deepest part of the Dimensional Gap for his successors, something requiring the Caster’s personal retrieval. This ancient yet brilliant True Spirit Wizard dominated two of the three great legacies created by the Wizard World, and Green naturally has boundless anticipation for the legacy he left behind.
"Hoo..."
After several consecutive days of experiments, Green was also a bit fatigued. He sipped the coffee brought by Lab, stood up, and stretched, his bones crackling.
Involuntarily, under the Green Truth Mask, the Three-Colored Light Eyes turned towards the Scepter of Hope in the corner of the laboratory.
After obtaining the golden scepter, Green had studied it meticulously. However, even under the all-dimensional microscopic perception of the Face of Truth, no special traits were found. Thus, Green treated it as a clue item similar to the Hope Light Shroud, always carrying it by his side.
However, as Green sought to unlock the sixth level of Wild Instinct and complete the Ancient Giant Chi Demon transformation, bearing the end of a thousand cuts, the ordinary weapons of World Masters could no longer satisfy Green’s needs, necessitating the unknown power contained within higher-grade weapons.
After finding several high-grade weapons incapable of completing this final transformation stage, amidst frustration, Green noticed the Scepter of Hope, inexplicably tried using the scepter, and as a result, not only successfully completed the Ancient Giant Chi Demon transformation with one success, but the Scepter of Hope also underwent a completely new change!
At this moment, although the Scepter of Hope still shone with golden light, it had undergone a bizarre introversion, possessing the high-grade Magic Guide Instruments’ ability to freely switch shapes and sizes. Though it still didn’t display any might-enhancing attributes, it had already transformed from a mere symbolic object perceived by Green into a clue closely tied to some unknown existence in distant space-time.
And this existence might very well be the corpse of the Sovereign of the Light of Hope!
The more Green observed, the more peculiar the feeling became. Could this Scepter of Hope be a key?
"Master of the Oblivion Tower!"
Interrupting Green’s experiment-induced contemplation, feeling slightly irritable, the Three-Colored Light Eyes glanced at the Wizard figure in the Crystal Ball. It was Saradin, the chief guardian Wizard of one of the worlds under Green, the Spirit People World, who was also the Dean of the Oblivion Tower Academy.
"What’s wrong?"
Green asked in a deep voice.
"Master, the Spirit People World has been invaded by Evil Gods. Due to the time-space constraints of lower-tier Wizard communication, this information likely reached your end of the Wizard World only after the invasion was complete. The Spirit People World requests support!"
An invasion by Evil Gods!?
Long engaged in the war between the Wizarding Alliance and the Skynet Metal Destroyer, Green finally remembered that his Spirit People World and Parasitic Spore World were members of another cluster of worlds named Chaos.
And now, this world under Green’s sway was unexpectedly invaded by some reckless Evil God from that cluster of worlds!
"How many, and what level are the Evil Gods?"
Green spoke while already standing up from his seat, beneath the Green Truth Mask, the Three-Colored Light Eyes were extremely cold, filled with murderous intent. The Spirit People World was linked to the Parasitic Spore World. The reason Green could lavishly spend resources on experimental research these past hundreds of years was the endless revenue from the Parasitic Spore World, which allowed for no mishaps.
"Two, judging by the true body energy waves they forced into the world, they should be Level Four. I’m organizing the Wizards in this world to complete a large-scale Sealing Skill, but even if we complete this Sealing Skill, there isn’t much hope against two Evil Gods."
With hopeless sighs, Saradin appeared mentally debilitated. Under the pressure of a World Master, this old Wizard was visibly struggling.
"Oh... just two Level Four Evil Gods, huh."
About to summon a massive number of Stigma Sorcerers, Green was startled, and quietly heaved a sigh of relief. Having participated in civilization wars for so long, accustomed to the presence of World Masters and Stigma Sorcerers everywhere, the arrival of just two lower-tier Evil Gods was somewhat of an adjustment.
"Hehe, I understand now. Try to guard my assets over there as best as you can. Ensure the top-tier Spiritual Scientists aren’t lost too greatly. I’ll get there as soon as possible."
After finishing his words, Green closed the Crystal Ball and shouted, "Sachy, Lulianmian, Xiao Ba, time to work! Thousand-Eyed Giant Crab, immediately prepare a five-million-strong Screaming Cockroach Slave Legion!"
